The view along the river is nice and staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was well-maintained and clean. However, the restaurant was closed indefinitely, despite advertising it as a feature--one which encouraged us in choosing this hotel. Also, the bowling alley was closed on Tuesdays, which was not mentioned in the advertising. So we felt somewhat deceived on both counts.

Really impressed with our stay for the price! Property is older but room was very clean, bed was comfortable, had everything we needed. Nice location right on the river, restaurants in walking distance. Sauna was an awesome feature! They closed the pool a bit earlier than advertised and the bowling alley isn’t open everyday during winter months but with the price we couldn’t complain, will definitely stay here again if back in Bracebridge.

In need of updates. No fan in the bathroom so there was a good amount of mould growing on the shower tiles. Hot tub jets do not work, it just a warm bath. The head boards were falling apart and the beds were uncomfortable, but the room was clean (minus the mould) and the staff at check-in were friendly. The location was good, close driving distance to many restaurants. Likely wouldn’t stay there again. Over priced for what you get.

The front staff were really friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is dated. The pool area was not clean (pools of dirty water around the edges, visible hard water stains/mold near the hot tub, cloudy water in the hot tub) and the pool was SO cold we couldn't even enjoy it. The gym was large and spacious which is nice. The onsite restaurant (only open for breakfast) was quite dated but the server was lovely and the food was fine.

Very nice sized room with a really nice big television. I really like how they have a lot of amenities like swimming, sauna, and the gym. Also bowling and pool costs extra but it's nice that it's an option. The room was really clean and set up with coffee towels.

Rooms are small, but had a decent view of the water. That was the highlight of the stay for us. Bathrooms dirty and bottom of the bathtub was brown with grim and dirt. Exhaust fan sounded like it was going to explode as well so couldn’t use it. The kicker for us was on check out day(checkout was at 11) the cleaning person tried to enter our room twice at 8:30 am while we were changing and getting ready, thankfully we had the door locked. We booked fairly late but for what we got I feel was expensive for the experience. Also a kicker no continental breakfast and said it was included. Unfortunately our stay at the quality inn was the boat anchor for our little vacation. Next time we’ll be booking sooner and just about anywhere else. Maybe it’s just our stay we had problems but I doubt we are the only ones.

Check in was easy, however absolutely no information was given about the hotel. No mention of wifi or pool, or hot tub closure etc. I was given a room at the very end of the building (125). The room is very awkwardly positioned with the tv and unit being longer then the wall, it faces an arm chair and not the bed. It seemed like the room was never used as the layers of dust were quite heavy. Everything was quite datedbut okay for a 1 night stay. Would i return, probably not. For the price,it was decent and could have been worse.

I did a two night stay, my room was not made up with fresh towels. A few lights in the bathroom were out. One towel had a blood stain on it. Doors, mirror were not wiped done had dirts marks and dust on the wood.

The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom fan did not work. Doors, switches etc could use a good clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was nice and quiet. Bright light outside our window which was hard to block out. Coffee was not replaced my husband was unimpressed, he had to drink decaf.

The room was not clean. Found hair inside the bedsheets....... The pillows had a fragrance to them. Similar to hair gel or aftershave, not fabric softener nor detergent. The staff had mentioned it could be the fabric softener but she did say the previous occupants were men. I asked for a pillow exchange, we had 8 pillows, out of the 4 that I returned(from one of the 2 queen beds) one came back smelling still like the aftershave/hairgel. The bathroom paint was peeling, probably due to excess moisture as the fan wasn't working/been removed. Floors were dirty when we walked in. Microwave was dirty. Overall we weren't impressed with the cleanliness, it felt like our room was given a wipe down and beds were remade. Phone did not work. Pool was great though. The front desk staff was great. Expectations were low due to the price but we did expect to have a clean room. Parking was good. Noise level from outside was great but we could hear people inside the hotel yelling or a baby crying....etc. but it could be because the door didn't have a great seal. Only 2 stars for area around the property because the snow could have been removed alot better from the sidewalks.

The stay was ok. The rooms are average. There was no hand cream in the bottle it was empty had to be squeezing the bottle. Air-condition was working intermittently and it was hot in the night. Breakfast was served 30 mins after the order. Stayed here before, but this time the experience was different.

We stayed at this hotel for the fire and ice festival, the room and beds were comfy but the noise level at late hours was unacceptable with kids running up and down the hall out side our room. Parking is limited and inconvenient as they run a bowling alley open to the public so there is no space for Paying guests at the hotel. Staff are rude about it as well. The hair dryer was also full of hair. Needless to say I will not be staying at this hotel again!

This was a nice room (double queen), over-looking the river (would be really nice in warmer weather). My only complaint, but a big one, is that every lamp in the room had bright white fluorescent bulbs. Not warm white, but bright white. The bathroom (thank god) had warm white bulbs. Anyhow, the lamps were so bright I felt like I was in an operating room when I turned them on.

Did not eat at the hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Room was nice. But there were too many stairs for anyone that was physically handicapped. This hotel needs to have at least one elevator for customers.

Room was clean and large, nice view of a river out back of window, bed was comfortable and amenities like the bowling alley and pool were fun for families. However walls are thin and noise from nearby rooms can be heard. Washroom although updated is quite small and parking can be an issue depending on how full the Inn is.

The room we stayed in was huge! Family of 4 with two little ones. I was worried that the room might be crowded with a pack n play set up. But i was very wrong! There was so much room, very spacious and convenient. Very thankful to have stayed here.

It was excellent. The staff go above and beyond. Kaushal and Kim really helped us out. We have a young very nervous traveller and thank goodness their friendly very reassuring attitude and their gentle kindness to both my granddaughter and to us made our first adventure such a happy memory. The room was very comfortable and the recreational facilities were very clean. Thanks Kim, Kaushal and everyone at Quality Inn Bracebridge.

Morning staff was very nice and friendly. But night staff was very rude and just tried to hangup call. Our tv was not working we called reception at night he told us to unplug cable and plug it again. We tried couple times but it didn’t work so we let him know reception guy said there is nothing they can do so we keep unplugging it and plugging it back. It was really bad we end up giving up on tv but reception guyz attitude was not at all good.

Hotel is in a prime location on river. Showing its age but then that is reflected in the price. Room was as clean as any hotel room is. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Tv got the Jays game!! Parking at 4:00 was good, parking at 8:00 was practically nonexistent. Sapnil, was great!!! Came right away to show us (senior citizens) how to turn on the heat. Stayed to make sure the tv worked and found us the Blue Jays game. Would go back and also recommend.

Lovely spot. Very clean and highly recommend the Muskoka Gaga river cruise…. Beautiful!! We had the breakfast and all food was delicious! Stunning place and really loved it all around. Thanks for a delicious meal at the onsite restaurant.give it a try !!

We loved the river view. The restaurant had a good breakfast deal for guests. The pool and hot tub were very clean with perfect temperatures. It would be nice to have a comfortable chair in the room. Enjoyed our stay!

My room was very clean! The hotel is close to downtown and highway 118. There are 2 caveats. 1) the restaurant advertised is closed until further notice. 2) I was unaware there is no elevator and being 71 it was a struggle getting my suitcase up and down. Otherwise it was a good stay

no free breakfast as advertised. yet you could buy fruit and cereal in store. why not put out at front desk till restaurant is done. if they cannot make some effort to put a breakfast out they should take down on web site free breakfast available or componsate in another way.

This property continues to advertise a “restaurant” online. They don’t have it right now. Three times I went to the front desk, and nobody was on duty. I said “hello”, and someone came stumbling out of the back. I had definitely woke him up….not OK….

Your website said on-site dining which was a huge draw for us. Your website also said on-site bowling lane. When I went to book your confirmation page listed all amenities included bowling and onsite dining was listed . After paying and then checking in that’s when we found out the restaurant was closed during our stay and the bowling alley wasn’t open either ?? To late to change hotels and couldn’t get refund Your staff was friendly but should get what I paid for mentioned it to front desk and sorry about that was the only compensation I got we had to find alternate arrangements for breakfast and dinner for the three days we were there not cool
