Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sommerfeld Lodge from the moment we checked in til our departure.Breakfasts were excellent. Beds comfortable.Room serviced daily.Beforr leaving we took the advantage of having a carvery Sunday dinner at the golf club, which was excellent and great value for money.

Wasn't quite sure where to go on arrival, but soon found reception in the next building. There isn't a lift to the rooms and there aren't any on the ground floor. We were up 1 flight of stairs. There were 3 of us with 3 rooms, all with 2 singles and all slightly different sizes but a decent size. Room 1 has a bath with shower, which we had requested. There's tea and coffee making, biscuits and hair/soap/body wash. The lights didn't all work but at least 1 lamp did. A nice touch is there's a fan (which I needed), heater and blanket in each room and a hairdryer. Breakfast was lovely - in the golf clubhouse next door. There's a bar there too. We'd definitely stay again if we were in the area.

In my opinion this is not for business travelers . Restaurant closed at 5pm . No one available for breakfast in the morning. No one able to give me a receipt for my stay . They said that they would email one to me but it’s a week later and nothing . This place would be great for golfers but not for business travelers sorry to say .

Lovely club house and dining area with great views over the golf course. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had room 2 not a good view from window but room although small was very comfortable. We had car trouble and had to leave early so did not get out and about. Quite a route march to have breakfast especially if weather is bad but would try again earlier in the season

The B&B is basically a room block next door to the golf clubhouse, with a beautiful outlook. The highlight of our stay were the superb breakfasts and attentive staff member. There were a number of maintenance issues, from broken tiles across the bathroom floor, blown bulbs, TV not working... But the hygiene in the room was good.

Excellent stay with a twin room overlooking the golf course. Great location for Mumbles. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It would be good if the room had full blackout blinds or curtains as the room got the sun very early in the morning and lit the room up even with the blinds closed. Would have liked a slightly bigger towel but that’s being very picky. The best thing about the stay was the breakfast - it was really nice with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was very convenient for us, as it was within walking distance of our friends, who were celebrating their Golden wedding anniversary. The room was a little small for the price, but that's because it's at the side of a golf course.

The price was good. Apart from lack of muesli and plain yoghurt the breakfast was good. Checking in was very unsatisfactory as noone seemed to k ow where I should go. I ended up having to phone.

It’s a golf course very quiet nice view from room over mumbles and Swansea bay other room golf course views fantastic room comfortable breakfast was top notch full English and trimmings overall great place to stay

Lovely club house and dining area with great views over the golf course. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had room 2 not a good view from window but room although small was very comfortable. We had car trouble and had to leave early so did not get out and about. Quite a route march to have breakfast especially if weather is bad but would try again earlier in the season

The B&B is basically a room block next door to the golf clubhouse, with a beautiful outlook. The highlight of our stay were the superb breakfasts and attentive staff member. There were a number of maintenance issues, from broken tiles across the bathroom floor, blown bulbs, TV not working... But the hygiene in the room was good.

Excellent stay with a twin room overlooking the golf course. Great location for Mumbles. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It would be good if the room had full blackout blinds or curtains as the room got the sun very early in the morning and lit the room up even with the blinds closed. Would have liked a slightly bigger towel but that’s being very picky. The best thing about the stay was the breakfast - it was really nice with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again.

The price was good. Apart from lack of muesli and plain yoghurt the breakfast was good. Checking in was very unsatisfactory as noone seemed to k ow where I should go. I ended up having to phone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sommerfeld Lodge from the moment we checked in til our departure.Breakfasts were excellent. Beds comfortable.Room serviced daily.Beforr leaving we took the advantage of having a carvery Sunday dinner at the golf club, which was excellent and great value for money.

Breakfast was excellent. Location great for Swansea Bay Area and Wales national pool, reason for stay. Could do with some blackout blinds. Overall a lovely place to stay at.

What an amazing find, 4* and so reasonably priced. Breakfast was top class, a really good full english, loads of continental options and lots of tea types and flavours so as to satisfy your taste in tea. I will come back.

In my opinion this is not for business travelers . Restaurant closed at 5pm . No one available for breakfast in the morning. No one able to give me a receipt for my stay . They said that they would email one to me but it’s a week later and nothing . This place would be great for golfers but not for business travelers sorry to say .

Great hotel and staff unbelievably helpful. Food was great with extreemly large portions. Only issue was no lifts and no aircon only a fan, which for £110 with breakfst extra was a tad expensive with no lift or aircon.

Nice little B&B a few yards from the course at Clyne. Small but well appointed twin rooms and a delicious full breakfast served in the clubhouse. Staff and members very hospitable and all four in our party very pleased and would happily stay again.
