Hotel was conveniently situated close to the train station. Room was clean and spacious by Japanese standards. We got a room with a birds-eye view of Mt Fuji and were lucky to get a clear view in the middle of the summer. Breakfast was excellent, too.

I was assigned to a room that I later found out had been remodeled. It was excellent - clean, modern, fantastic tub and shower room separate from the sink, and separate WC room with bidet toilet with all the bells and whistles. The bed was very comfortable, but was actually larger than it needed to be. Because of the size of the bed (at least a “King” size bed in American sizing) the rest of the main room was cramped. The space to walk around the bed was very tight, but we made it work. Maybe a slightly smaller bed would help make the room feel less cramped. The breakfast was fine - a good selection of items, well prepared. I didn’t use any other features provided by the hotel besides room and breakfast. Overall, I would rate the room a 4.5 out of 5.0 based on cleanliness, comfort, etc. Slightly smaller bed or larger main room would have rated a 5.0

There was mold all over the bathroom in the crack. Our room was tiny! No coffee, cream or sugar. The bed was not that comfortable and the breakfast was not great. I would never stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location right by the train station and bus stops. There are many food options nearby as well as a mall. It is a walkable distance from the Fujinomiya Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine and the Mt Fuji Heritage Centre. Buses for Shiraito Falls and Lake Tanuki pick up right across the road. Staff are friendly; the breakfast was good and the rooms and common areas were clean.
