Great place to stay in the heart of the city. We booked our car into the safe carpark and were within easy walking distance od both a supermarket and the town centre. Lovely cafes and restaurants around too. The hotel was very comfortable abd staff cheery and helpful. Decent continental breakfast too

This was a cool little place across the street from the mall. This mall has a grocery store in it and thats how we saved a lot of money by buying food from them. These rooms have kitchenettes in them and that made for a greater experience so you can cook for yourself from the grocery store across the street. Upon check in, the clerk spoke English and was very polite, she even smiled and cracked a joke or two to us. The room did not have Air Conditioning in them, but since it's close to the ocean, we just had ocean air coming in our room at night. It was also within a 10 minute walking distance from the train station so that saved us taxi fare. When we woke up in the morning, the staff ordered us a taxi and we were on our way safe and sound. A great place that I recommend.

Très bon séjour pour deux nuits.Le personnel est très agréable. Nous avons eu des problèmes pour ouvrir la porte, le pass ne fonctionnant pas. Nous avons été accompagnés pour résoudre le problème. L'hôtel est tout proche du centre et de la Cité de la mer, le stationnement est facile. La chambre est agréable et la salle de bains fonctionnelle. Nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners dans la chambre et un repas.L'hôtel est calme.

Overall, our stay was good. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a kitchen. The reception staff was very friendly and spoke great English which was appreciated. 4 minutes from the port so convenient location as well. Just be advised that parking for check in is limited (They do offer parking once checked in). Only real complaint was that it was a little noisy with neighbors and traffic.

Conveniently located hotel with very helpful and friendly staff however we were a little disappointed by the condition of the room, the futon / sofa bed was very uncomfortable (poor mattress) and the carpet was very stained and needed replacement. Breakfast was also a bit of a disappointment as the pastries were undercooked and the selection was poor given the price. Overall would stay again but it could be improved.

Très bon accueil, l'appartement est suffisamment grand et agréable. Selon le temps, il peut y faire chaud car la fenêtre de la salle d'eau ne dispose pas de rideaux occultant. La solution est de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes. Au premier étage juste au dessus du hall d'entrée, c'est relativement bruyant car des personnes discutent parfois sur le trottoir le soir. Le petit déjeuner est agréable. Le personnel est très avenant et toujours souriant. L'accès au parking est direct.

This place was a pleasant surprise. We arrived a day earlier than expected and this was one of the few places still available. The service was exceptional, the room very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast delicious. The front desk even helped me with a translation issue while dealing with an auto rental agency.

De l accueil à la fin du séjour tout à été au top hôtel très bien situé à proximité du centre ville et de la gare sncf tout peut se faire à pied Literie impeccable juste les oreillers pas très confortables mais hôtel calme très propre je recommande cet établissement le personnel est très aimable avons séjourné 2 nuits et si nous revenons à Cherbourg nous reviendrons dans cet établissement

The service was excellent, the hotel was safe and in a convenient location. I could not have asked for better care from the people at the front desk. It’s a simple hotel, not a fancy place, but I had everything i needed, including a clean room and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel itself was very comfortable, a simple but clean place that had everything I needed. It’s close to museums and restaurants and bakeries and grocery stores. The whole town seemed very pedestrian-friendly. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but I felt safe and comfortable and very well taken care of. Merci!

Très bon séjour pour deux nuits.Le personnel est très agréable. Nous avons eu des problèmes pour ouvrir la porte, le pass ne fonctionnant pas. Nous avons été accompagnés pour résoudre le problème. L'hôtel est tout proche du centre et de la Cité de la mer, le stationnement est facile. La chambre est agréable et la salle de bains fonctionnelle. Nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners dans la chambre et un repas.L'hôtel est calme.

Très bon accueil, l'appartement est suffisamment grand et agréable. Selon le temps, il peut y faire chaud car la fenêtre de la salle d'eau ne dispose pas de rideaux occultant. La solution est de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes. Au premier étage juste au dessus du hall d'entrée, c'est relativement bruyant car des personnes discutent parfois sur le trottoir le soir. Le petit déjeuner est agréable. Le personnel est très avenant et toujours souriant. L'accès au parking est direct.

This place was a pleasant surprise. We arrived a day earlier than expected and this was one of the few places still available. The service was exceptional, the room very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast delicious. The front desk even helped me with a translation issue while dealing with an auto rental agency.

Great place to stay in the heart of the city. We booked our car into the safe carpark and were within easy walking distance od both a supermarket and the town centre. Lovely cafes and restaurants around too. The hotel was very comfortable abd staff cheery and helpful. Decent continental breakfast too

Conveniently located hotel with very helpful and friendly staff however we were a little disappointed by the condition of the room, the futon / sofa bed was very uncomfortable (poor mattress) and the carpet was very stained and needed replacement. Breakfast was also a bit of a disappointment as the pastries were undercooked and the selection was poor given the price. Overall would stay again but it could be improved.

Spacious, Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service We stayed at Appart'City Confort Cherbourg for one night on our journey home, and it was an excellent choice. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive both on arrival and at check-out, making us feel very welcome. Our studio apartment was much larger than we expected, with a separate seating area and TV, a comfortable double bedroom, and a spacious bathroom with a lovely shower. It was ideal for relaxing after a long day of travelling. The location is excellent, with easy access to the town and port, making it a very convenient place to stay before or after a ferry crossing. There is really only one area that could be improved: some form of air conditioning would make a big difference, especially during warmer weather. Apart from that, we couldn't fault our stay. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay and would happily choose to stay here again when travelling through Cherbourg.

It read great on reviews and ok. Noisy road out front. The room felt grotty with very tired and bare decor. All round "basic" Reception staff are kind and professional. I would not recommend.

I always stay at App City when we visit Cherbourg. It's easily found once you disembarked the ship and the staff are always so helpful and welcoming. The apartments are always spotless and the car park is very reasonable. I hope to stay longer the next time we visit.

This hotel is ideally located. Walking distance from the ferry terminal and the town, which boasts great cafe's, restaurants, shops and museums. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It would of been nice to of had a little bit more of a choice for breakfast and could of been a bit better priced. Otherwise, it is a great hotel, rooms are a good size, quiet and great views. We will be staying there again for sure.
