Fantastisk hotel. Smukt renoveret klassisk bygning. Indgangen snyder, men når man står ud på hotel-etagen er alt nyt og flot med designermøbler og spændende farver. Super søde og hjælpsomme i receptionen, som man lige skal gætte er i en anden bygning. Der er hyggeområde med te, kaffe og vand til fri brug. Der er kun godt at sige om dette sted, som dog kan være lidt svært at finde frem til.

Kamer was ruim, schoon, had een vide met bed voor een derde persoon (ook heel ruim), modern ingericht (beetje Ikea stijl) en een keurige badkamer. We mochten gebruik maken van zitjes op de gang en koffie en thee faciliteiten en het ontbijt was uitgebreid met zelfs verse jus d'orange (waar vind je dat nog). Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Helaas misten wij op onze kamer: een koelkastje, een bureau of iets dergelijks om je spullen op te leggen, een kast(je) (er was wel een klein kledingrek) en tissues in de badkamer.

Nice place but have to park like 5-7 minutes away walking. However would definitely recommend this place great location for walking around Genova and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Made the visit even better.

Bellissimo Hotel nella zona storica. Ci si arriva a piedi tra i vicoletti. Purtroppo trovare parcheggi gratuiti nella zona è quasi impossibile, si deve andare a pagamento. 20 euro al giorno con la convenzione dell'Hotel.

Beautiful old building tastefully done up with a lot of flair. My bed was up some stairs from a lovely sitting area and all in a wonderful high ceilinged room with large window. Delicious breakfast across the way in sister hotel Palazzo Grillo. Staff went to huge trouble to make stay comfortable, booked a restaurant and then communicated with me via What's App. Overall excellent for both comfort and service. On a week's trip to Italy, this was by far the most comfortable bed.

Klockrent hotell i gamla staden. Bekvämt och fräscht rum. Bra lounge på våningsplanet med vatten, kaffe/te och småtugg. Unik upplevelse att få bo i ett ombyggt gammalt palats. Dock passar inte kvarteren runt hotellet alla sorters resenärer. Gatuprostitution, narkomaner och småkriminella framförallt i gränderna norr om boendet. Klarar man av det är det ändå ett toppenläge för att utforska Genova.

Chambre spacieuse, impeccable mais trop chauffée. Il nous a été précisé qu'il était impossible de régler en dessous de 23°. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, belle offre mais les plats censés être chauds étaient complètement froids le deuxième jour, dommage. Enfin, il a fallu réclamer la bouteille comprise dans l'offre vip access. L'hôtel est remarquablement bien situé, sur une place magique.

A very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. They even prepared a very nice surprise for our daughter who had a birthday during our stay. The location is excellent, close to water front and Piazza de Ferrari, and just a 5 min walk from San Giorgio metro station.

Very interesting hotel that occupies a historic palazzo and part of an old residential building across a small piazza. Location is very central but sketchy and very hard to get in and out, or even to find since old Genoa is a maze. We were three and our room was small with two beds and a mezzanine with two more beds as the floor to ceiling height is huge as in all old buildings. Nice modern touches made it cozy. There was practically to place to leave your clothes (only hangers no wardrobe or drawers), the air conditioner (a split unit) was noisy and ineffective for the mezzanine since cool air stays low and hot air is lighter. There were no hangers in the bathroom either so nowhere to hang the clothes you will be using. But we were happy with our stay and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Diese Unterkunft ist mitten in Genua auf einem ruhigen Platz gelegen. Dieser bietet auch ein Restaurant, ein Café und eine Bar, sowie das benachbarte Hotel, in dem die Rezeption des Nuvole gelegen ist. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Empore, auf der das Bett war. Unten dann ein Wohnzimmer. Die Treppe ist steil und schmal. Würde ich mit kleinen Kindern oder Gehbehinderung nicht empfehlen. Kenne aber nur unser Zimmer. Für uns war die Raumaufteilung perfekt Von hier aus erreicht man alles im Centro Storico rasch zu Fuss. Unendlich viele Ess und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Anreise mit dem Zug ist wegen teurer Parkmöglichkeiten empfehlenswert.

Our first contact with the hotel right before checking in was problematic. While we were lost in our walk toward the hotel pulling our suitcases on the cobblestone area surrounding the hotel, we called the hotel and asked them for help. However the man on the line after hearing us being lost, to our surprise hung up the phone!! We were assisted by passers-by to guide us to the Piazza della vigne. Other than the check-in, our stay was fine. The staff was generally helpful, though not super friendly. The loft-style room was renovated, comfortable and decently appointed, although a mini-fridge would have been helpful.The breakfast served in the rooftop was excellent. Advice to those arriving by taxi. The closest point for drop off and pick-up is Piazza Campetto - literally one minute from the hotel. Had our driver known this we would have avoided a great deal of hassle.

Terrific hotel in a restored apartment block in the maze of alleyways in central historic Genoa. Location is perfect as only a few minutes walk from San Lorenzo cathedral, Piazza de Ferrari, the waterfront, etc. Friendly professional service from all staff. The breakfast is super, very sumptuous. It would have been useful to have a safe in the room. Hot water in the shower took a while to get going. Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as the breakfast is on the fifth floor which is accessed via stairs only.

Fantastisk hotel. Smukt renoveret klassisk bygning. Indgangen snyder, men når man står ud på hotel-etagen er alt nyt og flot med designermøbler og spændende farver. Super søde og hjælpsomme i receptionen, som man lige skal gætte er i en anden bygning. Der er hyggeområde med te, kaffe og vand til fri brug. Der er kun godt at sige om dette sted, som dog kan være lidt svært at finde frem til.

Mooie kamer ingericht met design meubels. Goed ontbijt. Buurt was echter vreselijk met prostituees, zwervers en junks om de hoek, niet veilig s avonds. Verder moest je alles maar zelf uitzoeken, tarief voor parkeergarage bv. Van beloofd flesje wijn niets gezien. Hotel is te duur voor wat je krijgt.

The hotel is clean and quiet as described. The first night the AC was not working properly and our room was quite hot in the middle of summer. The next morning we talked with the staff who were condescending and explained that because the rooms have tall ceilings and because the building is old, the rooms only cool down so much. They did send someone to fix it which made a difference. They use WhatsApp to communicate, so beware if they do not hear back from you, they will make choices for you on your behalf.

Beautiful old building tastefully done up with a lot of flair. My bed was up some stairs from a lovely sitting area and all in a wonderful high ceilinged room with large window. Delicious breakfast across the way in sister hotel Palazzo Grillo. Staff went to huge trouble to make stay comfortable, booked a restaurant and then communicated with me via What's App. Overall excellent for both comfort and service. On a week's trip to Italy, this was by far the most comfortable bed.

A very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. They even prepared a very nice surprise for our daughter who had a birthday during our stay. The location is excellent, close to water front and Piazza de Ferrari, and just a 5 min walk from San Giorgio metro station.

Very interesting hotel that occupies a historic palazzo and part of an old residential building across a small piazza. Location is very central but sketchy and very hard to get in and out, or even to find since old Genoa is a maze. We were three and our room was small with two beds and a mezzanine with two more beds as the floor to ceiling height is huge as in all old buildings. Nice modern touches made it cozy. There was practically to place to leave your clothes (only hangers no wardrobe or drawers), the air conditioner (a split unit) was noisy and ineffective for the mezzanine since cool air stays low and hot air is lighter. There were no hangers in the bathroom either so nowhere to hang the clothes you will be using. But we were happy with our stay and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Die Anreise mit dem Zug ist wegen teurer Parkmöglichkeiten empfehlenswert.

We were one day late to check in and the staff were extremely friendly. But the location is right inside the old town and not easy to find. We had two small children below 10 and two luggages to pull around. The neighborhood was sketchy. (when we search for the hotel, we walk around a road with prostitutes and pee on the ground). We decided to book another hotel for the night and enter the old town during daylight). Because the location is in the old town, all the great sights are within walkable distance. The room is spatious and clear. The staff were very helpful.

L’hotel est magnifique, grandes belles chambres, petit-déjeuner excellent sur la terrasse (attention aux guêpes toutefois) Le gros point faible de l’établissement est sont emplacement au sein du quartier des prostituées et de leurs souteneurs. L’hotel est très difficile à trouver (nous avons rencontré plusieurs personnes perdues à la recherche de l’adresse) du coup, on se retrouve à errer dans les ruelles au milieu des prostituées et franchement on ne se sent pas du tout en sécurité. Le soir je ne me serais pas vue rentrer la nuit tombée. C’est vraiment dommage car l’hotel est vraiment bien. Le mieux est de bien repérer votre chemin à l’avance et de ne pas vous fier au gps qui pour je ne sais quelle raison n’arrive pas à nous situer précisément. Sinon la situation est pratique pour visiter le centre historique.

Kamer was ruim, schoon, had een vide met bed voor een derde persoon (ook heel ruim), modern ingericht (beetje Ikea stijl) en een keurige badkamer. We mochten gebruik maken van zitjes op de gang en koffie en thee faciliteiten en het ontbijt was uitgebreid met zelfs verse jus d'orange (waar vind je dat nog). Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Helaas misten wij op onze kamer: een koelkastje, een bureau of iets dergelijks om je spullen op te leggen, een kast(je) (er was wel een klein kledingrek) en tissues in de badkamer.

Chambre spacieuse, impeccable mais trop chauffée. Il nous a été précisé qu'il était impossible de régler en dessous de 23°. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, belle offre mais les plats censés être chauds étaient complètement froids le deuxième jour, dommage. Enfin, il a fallu réclamer la bouteille comprise dans l'offre vip access. L'hôtel est remarquablement bien situé, sur une place magique.

L’hotel est très difficile à trouver (nous avons rencontré plusieurs personnes perdues à la recherche de l’adresse) du coup, on se retrouve à errer dans les ruelles au milieu des prostituées et franchement on ne se sent pas du tout en sécurité. Le soir je ne me serais pas vue rentrer la nuit tombée. C’est vraiment dommage car l’hotel est vraiment bien. Le mieux est de bien repérer votre chemin à l’avance et de ne pas vous fier au gps qui pour je ne sais quelle raison n’arrive pas à nous situer précisément. Sinon la situation est pratique pour visiter le centre historique.

Beautiful old building tastefully done up with a lot of flair. My bed was up some stairs from a lovely sitting area and all in a wonderful high ceilinged room with large window. Delicious breakfast across the way in sister hotel Palazzo Grillo. Staff went to huge trouble to make stay comfortable, booked a restaurant and then communicated with me via What's App. Overall excellent for both comfort and service. On a week's trip to Italy, this was by far the most comfortable bed.

Ok 1st you can NOT get a taxi direct to location, gotta get droppet off and walk down an ugly alley w/ a unique odor...location is pretty good for getting around, but the exteriot is worn, as is the entry to the remote hotel, Rooms are clean but sparce, walls are white, no color, no art, tile floors, staff is nice, but no fridge or coffee in Room, had a common area with instant coffee and water machine. Wish they had a pod coffee machine... AC worked good. Genoa needs some serious cleaning, painting, freshening, and hopefully more merchants. The graffiti is out of hand, lots of sketchy folks wandering around, but some hidden gems to be found. 2 nigbts was plenty for me

It is the 4th floor of a historic building. The elevator is old fashioned and looks like straight from an 19th century movie. The staff are helpful, breakfast buffet is of good quality. The room is spacious with good quality bedding and towels. However, there is a lack of furniture, e.g. table, chair, dresser etc. And the hallway can be hot.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Nuvole. You get the service of a 4 stars (reception and breakfast in the main palazzo). The room is in a different building next to the palazzo. The floor where we stayed was totally renovated, mixing old and new with style! We loved it.
