It is a very OUTDATED place, feels like you are in the 70s. The road is a one-way, so you have to drive into Charlottetown to go the opposite way. Parking was a joke, you have to park in front of your room door otherwise you get told. I arrived, parked in a spot (it was empty all around), went in the office, got my room key, walked to my room and got a knock on my door to move my car, I was accidently parked in someone's spot (all this in a span of 5 mins)

I tried to talk to them for over a week before writing this review but that was pointless. I tried talking to a manager, who is never there and has never called me back after leaving my information. While on the surface it may look like a cheap, ok place to lay your head, it’s not. Don’t end up like me with dozens of bites from bed bugs. Spending money on cleaning all of my items and medication for the reactions to said bites. They said there were none after they “checked”, but I have photos from 4:30am and enough marks on me to sink a ship. We left right then and there to go home as we weren’t staying another minute. If you read reviews on Google you’ll find they have numerous complaints of cockroaches too. I didn’t see those myself. What I found was far too much already.

Welcoming receptionist, room were clean and airy, comfy bed very good for a budget motel would stay here again . Good shower , good TV channels. Safe location and can walk to pub and cows ice cream.

Motel was rated as being renovated. Sink in bathroom was cracked in several places. Walls were dirty. Microwave was dirty. Floors were not clean and above all we were sitting on the bed and felt something was biting. We put bedding down there were bugs in the sheets and on the mattress. Mattress had stains on it. We tried calling the office and there was no answer. We left the motel and had to rent another room for the night. I will never return to this motel again. Hopefully expedia will get us our money back.

Towels were soft. I did not like anything about the motel, very dirty , not sure how they clean , feet got dirty just walking on the floor, windows don’t lock properly, bed not comfy would not recommend to anyone, staff did not do anything when I complained

The location was fine, the check in staff was great. The room was dirty, floors have not been properly cleaned in a while. Top cover banket was stained, no deadbolt lock was concerning. I know it's a motel, but it was rough.

Room #12. There were alot of cigarette ashes under the night stand. The beds box spring was broken. With sharp broken boards sticking out. And there was so much dirt/dust and wrappeds or papers under the bed like it had not been swept or cleaned in months. There was alot of mildew in the shower on the tile walls. The room smelled of mold/mildew as soon as we walked in.

I stayed at the Whitehorse Motel while doing some business on the island. The motel is well located for my needs and the unit I had was clean and well maintained. The room was on the smallish side which was fine. This is an inexpensive place to spend a night or two and I will be back.

This is a great little motel. The building is obviously not a brand as it’s probably a 1970 build motel. But the rooms are exceptionally well renovated with brand new flooring, new tile in the bathroom, and it’s in a great location as well.

Let's be honest, it is a motel and not a hotel. That being said there was nothing wrong with the room itself. It was a small room with a small TV a fridge and a microwave. The room was clean. The floor could have been cleaned better, but I could just be picky. The bathroom had a nice size tub/shower. The beds were very comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the wifi, it was spotty at best. The wifi was hard for our devices to find and when they would finally find it, it would constantly just randomly stop working. Having three teens that made things difficult. I would stay there again if I did not need wifi. They did say they would call the company out to check for a problem

There was no staff to clean rooms, make beds or provide assistance if needed. We cleaned our own trash cans using our own trash bags. Also had to deliver used towels to office and pick up new ones before 10:00 PM. The room was uncleaned when we arrived and never swept or vacuumed during our three day stay. One positive. On the last day they did provide some Chinese Tea that my wife requested on our first day there. Evidently they only provide coffee. Overall I would not recommend this property.

The staff was friendly unfortunately our room was terrible. There was an odour to the room and the sink in the kitchenette kept backing up with brown sludge. They never came to tidy tidy the room up and bring fresh towels or empty garbages. And by the time we got back to the room there was no one at the front counter.

The positive about the motel was it was very cold in the room but the manager quickly went out and bought a portable heater and the room was toasty warm

Called them a couple days before hand to double check our reservations..all was good. Show up on check in day and there were issues. ....I told them I would be paying cash for my stay, used my CC to secure the reservation with them. I received an alert from.my bank they were trying to take the room payments even before we checked in !!! Not acceptable ! I didnt want a balance on my card. They seemed put off by that fact. After 15 minutes of arsing around, she got it it ironed out finally !!

I had a wonderful stay in this motel. Lots of natural light and a good view of the river. Within walking distance of the Boom burger, grocery store, bakery, ice cream shop and restaurants. Very responsive and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

The motel was very nice, clean. Griendly staff. Had microwave, fridge & cooffe maker. Only negative was location. Location was inconvenient. It was on a main road with 3 round abouts. You could not go left getting out of the motel due to a solid median strip in the middle of the road for about 2 long blocks between two round abouts. To go left, you had to go right through a round about & back up through a second round about just to go left out of the motel
