We received great overview of activities from staff for our one day stay in Trieste which really helped. Overall great location allowing us to walk everywhere we wanted to go from waterfront to Castle. Only negative was having to park our car at the large city lot which was about 3-4 blocks away. Otherwise would recommend and we would stay there again.

The Forum has a beautiful lobby (upstairs, after taking the elevator), friendly staff, lovely unique rooms and tasty breakfast. I wish we could have stayed more than one night in this great facility and city.

The staff were excellent and provided help with dining, sightseeing, transportation. There were many lovely extras to our stay…prosecco, bottled drinks, cappuccino. The hotel is very well decorated as well.

I’ve been traveling to different countries in Europe and I’ve stayed in many hotels. This is the first time I’ve been in a hotel with free drinks from the minibar, (beer, soda and different kinds of water) on top of that, they refill the stock the next day. Everything was clean and the staff was kind. I’ve would give this six stars if I could. Perfetto! Grazie!

Good hotel, interesting decor, well situated close to the train station but away from the busy nightlife area of the city. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is superb. The constant music in the lobby from 7am to 11pm was a little irritating, as we could hear it in our room, and the traffic from the street is audible, too, but overall this was a good stay and recommendable.

Quirky hotel in an ideal location for local bars and restaurants. Very easy walk from the cruise port and then again next day to the train station. Breakfast was just perfect and stunningly presented on an old fashioned T stand . Produce was extremely fresh and excellent quality. Young lady who should us to our room on arrival and then served breakfast in the morning was very polite and informative. The Forvm Hotel was a great find .

The hotel is very nice and perfectly located to explore beautiful Trieste. There is a nice lounge where you can have breakfast or have a glass in the evening. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and cozy. Staff are friendly and they provide maps and information if needed. The only problem was that the air conditioning didn't function very well (although I set it at 19 oC, the temperature was 26-28 oC). The fridge did not function well either and the beverages were not cold.

I liked the ambiance, the decor and the attractive lobby.Nic was very kind when we arrived a little too early and asked to store our luggage. Some of the room features were a bit worn: the toilet seat slid around and the facet was wobbly. The bathroom window handle was broken and wouldn’t open the window. I thought there should have been some instruction about the electrical. We couldn’t get the fridge to work because we kept turning off the master electrical switch.

Room size was ridiculously small. There is no storage for anything. Which meant I had to open my suitcase to access anything. But when my suitcase was open I couldn't get into the bathroom as there was no room to open the door! Also, overnight the access door to the stairs and elevator is locked and must be opened with a key. This represents an extremely dangerous scenario if there is a hotel fire.

Very affordable and stylish hotel that is conveniently located near the central Trieste canal. Staff were very friendly and helpful upon check in. Breakfast (extra pay) was served in a very attractive setting. Room was on the small side but it did not matter to me. Only downside was that my room was on the front of the hotel facing a busy street that was noisy in the morning.

Staff were great - especially in trying to help me with a tricky problem. Everyone was professional and friendly. The location is excellent, rooms very clean and quiet, lovely vibe. Easy walking distance to many attractions, shopping and dining. The only thing I had trouble with was the bed - way too hard for me.

Good hotel, interesting decor, well situated close to the train station but away from the busy nightlife area of the city. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is superb. The constant music in the lobby from 7am to 11pm was a little irritating, as we could hear it in our room, and the traffic from the street is audible, too, but overall this was a good stay and recommendable.

Quirky hotel in an ideal location for local bars and restaurants. Very easy walk from the cruise port and then again next day to the train station. Breakfast was just perfect and stunningly presented on an old fashioned T stand . Produce was extremely fresh and excellent quality. Young lady who should us to our room on arrival and then served breakfast in the morning was very polite and informative. The Forvm Hotel was a great find .

Such a mixture of extremes. From a beauty standpoint, this place is a five star. It is in a very central location walkable to all the places and restaurants, mostly easy to find, and slightly more accessible because of the lift for your heavy bags. Everything is beautiful. Beautifully laid out and beautifully presented. Two major problems though: some of the staff seem to either hate their job or hate their guests, or perhaps both. They are unaware that the guest is the one to be pleased, and not the other way around . They seem to have "rules" around enjoying breakfast and coffee and God forbid you should want to do the mornings your way, rather than their way. We were such a nuisance! Imagine wanting coffee first, and waiting for breakfast till later. Imagine that four people in your group wake up at different times ! Quelle Merde! How inconsiderate of us! How dare we stagger our mornings! How dare we have a way that we like our coffee and cannot describe it with the proper Italian terms! We feel so badly about what a nuisance we were. The room itself well very pretty, was without function. The beds were slab hard, the air conditioner was barely Working, and the toilet was so impossibly high that it was unusable for women and one needed to use a stepstool to get up to it.

The staff were extremely accommodating, every need was met. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options and different special dishes each morning. Camera graziosa, ma buia e molto piccola, quindi integralmente occupata dal letto, senza neppure una poltroncina sulla quale accomodarsi per leggere, consultare una guida o guardare il cellulare, piccole attività quotidiane che si possono svolgere solo sededuti sul letto. La colazione è molto ricca (una brioche colossale, un muffin, un bicchierino di yogurt, frutta fresca tagliata a fette e una spremuta) ma viene servita individualmente al tavolo, al prezzo fisso di 10 euro (non era inclusa), il che mi è parso molto appariscente ma poco pratico. L'unica cosa che ho potuto ordinare è stato il cappuccino (in alternativa a caffè o tè). Altrove, mi è capitato di sperimentare con piacere la scelta dettagliata (il giorno prima, non al buffet) della colazione da consumare, con la soddisfazione (direi anche per l'Hotel!) di non vedere nulla di sprecato. Nel mio caso sarebbero bastati cappuccino, spremuta e yogurt magro, il che potrebbe anche prevedere una differenza di prezzo rispetto alla supercolazione di chi invece la gradisce e la consuma. Il personale è cortese, sorridente, disponibile. Il quartiere è grigio e trafficato, ma l'Hotel è in centro e si va a piedi ovunque.

Great location in the centre of Trieste, just a 5 minute walk from the Grande canal,and an 8 -10 min walk to the train and bus stations. Check in quick,easy and unusually early these days. Our room was compact ,with limited storage space for a 5 night stay consisting of a wardrobe and an ottoman.Could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe but otherwise it was fine. Everything else regarding the room was excellent and it was tastefully decorated as were the public areas. The staff too,were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
