I love the concept of this resort. It has a natural traditional feel type of resort not the typical modern building type. From the small details of keycard, welcome drink, necklace to the cottages/rooms, restaurant & all the coconut trees that surrounds the resort are beautiful. The beach & long shoreline with white sand made it perfect. Such a beautiful resort & i love how quiet & private the beach & surroundings are. Food at the restaurant is good as well with beautiful presentation. Rooms are small & breakfast buffet is very good & adequate. I will definitely come back & stay longer. They should limit the number of day passes to outsiders to prevent it from getting too crowded in the lounge areas which will affect its appeal.

I liked the rustic aesthetics of the resort and that it is relatively close to Alona Beach and the airport. The ocean view rooms are very nice, you can walk straight onto the beach and into the water off the porch. As far as the negatives, not really a big deal, but the main pool is a bit small for the size of the resort. The day pass is very affordable in my opinion and a lot of people take advantage of it so it can get somewhat crowded at times. Also, for a 4.5 star resort, I think the furniture in the rooms should be improved. Great resort overall, would stay there again.

There was really no reason to leave the resort, everything is there. Their spa massages were heaven! I had one each day except when we had to do the island hopping. Gym is 24/7 open which is great. just wished they open their pool earlier than 8am and had more Filipino cuisine available. Staff are friendly and most of them have great attention to detail. I just booked another stay with them in Sept.

The good: free water sports like kayaking and paddle boarding. Good service at the bar. The beach is nice. Concierge staff were very courteous. Food was decent. The bad: they told me they didn’t have space for a single person at the restaurant after checking and that they would call me if they could accommodate. Ridiculous for the price you pay to stay here. There were many open seats but I guess they wanted to save them for groups that probably never ended up coming. They owned the mistake the next day and the manager or whoever I talked to was very courteous in trying to smooth things over. Damage was done though, I felt like I wasn’t valued. The pool was super crowded. The bathroom design was not to my liking, after a shower there was water everywhere. Called a tuktuk from the front desk once and it took 20-25 minutes versus the 5-10 they told me. Maybe they are too busy to ensure good service, but things happen. I don’t think anything was malicious but the restaurant reservation thing put a sour taste in my mouth. Overall, some good. Some bad. But I wouldn’t stay here again. I paid less for Bohol Beach Club and it was much nicer in every way except for the water sports cost money. The food, rooms, resort, and service was much better there.

We stayed at South Palms, now Oceanica, 8 years ago and enjoyed our stay then and still loved the place. Every staff were friendly and professional and were always willing to assist no matter what it was we needed. Due to the paying public being allowed access during the day, it was busier than normal. However, it wasn’t a deterrent for us enjoying ourselves. The location is amazing with long stretch of white sand beach for everyone to enjoy! Definitely will be returning to this place when we visit Bohol.

The resort is amazing and beautifully developed. The beach front was well maintained with powdery white sand. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. 2 pools with warm water, but normal and nothing special. Positive was lifeguard was present and attentive. The food in the resort was good, but quite pricey. The room was spacious and clean drinking water was given generously. The best part was the extra unexpected services in including a free trip to South Farm. This was superdooper fun, with free animal feeding and riding. There was also a restaurant there. Have recommended to friends. We will go back.

South Palm is an excellent place for vacation. It is quiet and the rooms were very clean in fact they make sure that you have a clean room all the time that they clean it 2x/ day. Never seen one with this service. The buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with variety of options for you to choose. They even offered to pack your breakfast when you go for day trip isn’t that amazing. The staf were all respectful and treat you well for all your needs. Their beaches were well maintained. They have staff that clean the sides of the beach each morning. I love their massage the therapist were excellent they do a very good cnn job and maintain your privacy. Over all this is the place to unwind and enjoy your vacation very done.

We stayed 9 nights in the Deluxe pool view room in the January 2025. Our stay was excellent. Room was big and clean. From pool view room, there was also a partial sea view. In front of the hotel was peaceful and clean white sandy beach. Service was really good in the whole hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated a lot that there were free complimentary water and coffee every day. Only a little bit negative thing was, that staff /lifeguards could have interfere better about the disturbing behavior at the East pool, where some of the people were rioting and splashing water so much, it splattered even to the sunbeds where people were relaxing.

AC UNIT In room was not working . Unit made a big cracking sound on wall and the room was warm because the AC did not work. We asked for a room transfer because of the AC malfunction. We received no apology or regret note for the inconvenience we had during our stay. Needs improvement on facility and building being a 4 star hotel.

The palm trees and the sea are so pretty. I really liked the beach front room. They clean the room for just one night. However, it was not cool because the air conditioner was broken, and it was uncomfortable because the shower was all-in-one. I don't have much food for breakfast either.

La chambre est petite /sans rangements mais le lit est lui extra King size ce qui est bien . La Clim difficile à régler . Ce n est pas d un niveau 4 étoiles pour les chambres! C est la plage qui fait la différence…et vu que l on est souvent dehors!!! Having access to a swimming pool right from my room was an amazing experience. The property is new, state of the art design and construction. In room refrigerator with an endless supply of filtered water. The staff is young, vibrant, energetic and talented! The property is beautifully maintained. The GM, Danish was very personable and welcoming. The concierge’s Kristian and Jack were wonderful. This property is a must if you visit Bohol!

We stayed for 4-nights. Although there were two weddings during our stay, it wasn’t as noisy as we thought it would be and their operations for staying guests did not stop. Their best assets at the resort are their food and their staff! If I can make one suggestion, most toilets I used at the resort had toilet seats that were smaller than the actual toilet. Change those to the correct toilet seat size, and everything would be perfect!

I always love the place, however front desk staff were not effucent and had poor coordination. The failed to pick up my husband from the airport after all a series of email regarding his flight . Hotelanlage selber ist schön mit direkter Strandlage. Frühstück und Essensqualität genügte unseren Ansprüchen nicht, vor allem das unterdurchschnittliche Frühstück, wenig Obst, miserables Brot. Service an der Rezeption freundlich, aber am Pool mangelhaft. Personal dort träge und die Tische wurde spärlich abgeräumt. Der viele Kunstrasen in der Hotelanlage gefiel uns nicht.

Pros: 1. The beach was beautiful and quiet until 5 pm 2. The hotel staff were very kind especially the breakfast crew 3. The restaurant meals had big portions 4. Breakfast options were amazing Cons: 1. Our hotel room was a bit outdated 2. The cleaning staff did the bare minimum. For ie they forgot to replace used mugs 3. Durig my stayed was awesome although i didn't spend much time roaming around due of some places to visit outside. It will be nicer if there will be a buffet dinner as well. Breakfast buffet was fantastic! nothing to ask for ...

Hotelanlage selber ist schön mit direkter Strandlage. Frühstück und Essensqualität genügte unseren Ansprüchen nicht, vor allem das unterdurchschnittliche Frühstück, wenig Obst, miserables Brot. Service an der Rezeption freundlich, aber am Pool mangelhaft. Personal dort träge und die Tische wurde spärlich abgeräumt. Der viele Kunstrasen in der Hotelanlage gefiel uns nicht.
