We had a fantastic time! Everything from the room to the pool, dining area. Every one of the staff were fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Nice that there are so many restaurants, and Walmart is a couple blocks away in case you need anything.

Love how pet friendly this hotel is! Our suite was wonderful and clean. The staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast and easy parking. The air conditioner in our room was really quiet too. The blackout curtains let us sleep in late. Highly recommend!

Had to kill a couple of spiders in the room. There were a few ants on our sheets and on the nightstand. The plumbing needed to be updated/fixed. Toilet handle messed up. Tub spout and shower valve were loose from the wall. Shower escutcheon (trim) was pulled the wall. There was food left on the carpet by the trash can.

At this Holiday Inn Express, the decor and finishes are showing their age. Bathroom floor tile grout is deteriorating. Stains on carpeting….especially in public areas. Light bulbs in bedside lamps did not match. One was a 3000K and other was 4000 or 5000K so there was this mix of yellowish incandescent and harsh blue-white lighting. Mattress is a coil-spring with not much of a pillow top. I had a backache after about 4 hours in bed. Young lady at the front desk was very polite and courteous.

Room had trash in it. Dust ruffle. In bed filthy and torn. HUGE open rip in window shade. Lots of no dusting or vacuuming. I was appalled and felt dirty after the stay. Bathroom ok but shower curtain needs replacing. Do they clean anymore? Quite frankly I’m not sure the beds were changed. Breakfast ladies tried very hard with what they have. Bless them. Management looked quite vacant in the eyes. They’re for state basketball tournament and it was the only bad thing on an otherwise perfect trip from Nebraska where I truly hope Holiday Inn Express has not sunk to this level of disrepair and neglect. The desk leg was broken and the desk chair seat upholstery shredded! But the trash ! Oh my, this surely can’t be happening, Toto!!!!

I was here with my two kids on a family trip. We found a contact lens on the bathroom floor and multiple ants in the bathroom. I also had a spider crawl on me in bed. The fire alarm also went off at 6 a.m. This was not the property’s fault but it did not improve the experience.

We had multiple issues with our stay. Our room did not have any TV service so it was a long night trying to entertain our daughter who generally watches tv to fall asleep to. We were unable to charge our phones as none of the outlets worked. Front desk staff was notified and was told to call the following week to speak to a manager. I called and spoke to a manager today and was notified that nothing could be done since I booked the hotel room through a 3rd party.

If you want a roomy place to stay, this is it. The room was twice as big as a regular hotel room. Instead of the usual coffee maker it had a keurig.we had a king size bed and a pull out couch. The room also had a table and two chairs, a desk and there was still lots of room. Everything was clean, the staff was super friendly and the buffet breakfast was delicious!

The room was okay. For a hotel on the expensive end in Emporia there should be more attention to detail. The torn shower curtain could easily be replaced. I checked out early and received a voicemail saying I left quite a bit of luggage in my room. They were going to charge me for another night. I called and the person said I was in room 227. I said I was in 327 and I have my stuff. He proceeded to disagree and say I was in 227 and they were charging me. I said I was on the third floor. He disagreed with me. You ride the elevator multiple times you generally remember what button you push. I think he missed a very important aspect of customer service. I started to drive back over there and received another call admitting to there error. You don’t get to cover up a condescending attitude with a simple apology and ‘have a nice day’. The situation was ugly. I imagine the people staying multiple nights in 227 might have a complaint as well. This was horrible customer service. Skip this hotel.

I booked 2 days. Arrived and was told there were no “keys” available and had to have a particular gentleman walk me to my room. This same gentleman later told me there was no key’s available for my stay and every time I left and returned I’d have to ask to be let I go my paid for room. I left and went to another HI down on El Dorado the road and had wonderful service and experience. Will stop in El Dorado again should I get that way.
