Have been here a number of times for family times. However, many things at the hotel do not work properly. the elevator works but is creaky and groans, several guests commented on it while riding in it. Our room toilet rocked on its base, same for my brother's room. We had maintenance man come to correct ours. He said there was nothing he could do. Wrong- toilets are supposed to be firmly mounted to the floor. The pop machine in the lobby didn't work, the printer in the business center didn't work, the oatmeal machine in the breakfast area didn't work. The breakfast selection was very slim, probably just enough to pass the Best Western inspection. The key cards didn't reliably open the entrance to the parking area. Bathrooms in the lobby area work locked shut so you had to go to your room for the bathroom. The last time we were here all of these items were not an issue. Next time we come to town we will book elsewhere.

We entered the parking lot and had to pay $3. When I asked for reimbursement I was told that I should have parked on the downtown street and come in to get my room key first that would have worked at the parking lot gate. Nothing on line gave that info neither on the hotel web site or the booking web site. I did not get my money back.

I found the property overall to be clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed to have to search form floor to floor to find an ice machine that worked. West & Main restaurant a block away was very good. The Underground Lounge downstairs was lots of fun. I was not impressed with the breakfast. The fruit should have been tossed days ago.

We checked in and the room was spacious and warm but when checking around the beds I found a golf ball, a BB gun pellet, some random plastic items and another travelers invoice from a different Hotel from May of this year. I had requested sheets and a blanket for the bed in the pull out sofa and they never arrived. The breakfast had some tiny muffins and 2 pancakes available. There was a staion that I think had Eggs and Bacon in it but was empty and I dont think it was going to be refilleed even though vreakfast was suppose to be available for another hour. Also the elevator did not work either. There is a nice bar in the basement o fthe hotel which we did enjoy.

Baggage carts have brokem wheels. Also the AC was very loud. It was a little hard to get a good night sleep. It otherwise served a purpose. I had a little hesitancy with leaving things in car. The area is a little run down and the parking lot is just open instead of garage, but i didnt have any breakins. I may look at other places next time i have to stay in the area, but if i had to stay here it would be alright.

You have to park on the street and go in to register to get a key to access the parking lot in the back. The back and parking lot seem sketchy but it’s secure and has cameras. The government building across the street and it’s grounds were lovely.

Location is very convenient, and I liked the idea of staying in a historic building. I was booked into a room that was not what I reserved. I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout. Was given 1 king bed and a pullout.) the room was filthy. Pubic hairs in the bathtub, visible dirt and dust on many surfaces, including bathroom counter, microwave, tables/desk. There was no iron in the room. When we asked for one at the front desk, the man insisted that there is an iron in every room. We insisted there was not one in our room. The man resisted just getting us an iron and was rude and condescending. That same man gave us 3 room keys that did not work. Each of the 3 we received one-by-one — as in, he kept replacing the non-working key with another non-working key. There are additional, smaller details, but these are the most egregious. Unfortunately, we will never stay at this hotel again. The combination of the filth and the problematic front desk receptionists was enough to deter us and convince us it’s worth the extra drive time to stay somewhere in Niles.

This is just around the block from the Robins theatre...that was very convenient..restaurant/pub downstairs. Only issue I noticed was a big stain on the top sheet when I turned down the bed...that was rather disgusting. Fortunately I had 2 queen beds so I slept in the other one. I left a note for housekeeping and told them they need to dispose of that sheet!

The building that the hotel is in is really cool. The area has a couple places to go out or grab coffee at that are on the same block, which is fantastic. I recommend Club Michael for drinks/dancing, and Nova Coffee for coffee/food. The actual hotel room is outdated, and smelled horrible. It looked mostly clean, but then the closer we looked the more mold we saw. Mold on the AC unit, mold under the bathroom sink. That’s what was making the room smell so bad. The guy at the front desk wasn’t super nice but oh well. The breakfast was okay, and the woman working the breakfast area was really sweet. I really wanted to like this hotel, because the building is historic, it’s right across the street from a park, and it’s close to my mom’s place so it would be so convenient for me when I am in town visiting my mom, but it was just not good. I don’t want to smell and breathe in mold the entire time I’m in my room.

Our tv remote wouldn’t work, our telephone didn’t work, there was mold in the bathroom and the floor mat by the shower was all ripped up with holes in it. Throughout the night I was hearing alarms, ringing and we were the last room on the hallway so I didn’t get much sleep

Room I was given was dirty. Trash still in all the garbage cans in the room. I asked for a refund to move as the entire place was dirty and grungy, but was given another room and told I couldn’t be given a refund. The new room I didn’t even go look at because it was all stairs to get to and I couldn’t do that many stairs. Management still wouldn’t do anything. Ended up losing my money and finding a different hotel anyhow. Worst place I’ve ever been to.

The room was clean and pleasantly comfortable there was a lower floor rooftop view out the window into the city, no bothersome noise at night either, we were there for one night and we decided to eat in the in house restaurant which is in the basement, it was a little spartan but the food was surprisingly good and the service was good and friendly (don’t judge a book by it’s cover comes to mind) all in all it was a pleasant stay.

The room was weird. There was a jetted tub, but it was super old (didn't risk it) and the room was laid out in a strange way. The floor of the bathroom was raised to accommodate the tub, but that resulted in an odd layout to navigate in the middle of the night.

The hotel was old. room was clean but carpet smelled. All in all 50. 50. Good for the night. Breakfast was good, Neighborhood seemed questionable too. View was nice square with Xmas lights was nice.

Clean, great location to Packard Music Hall. Close to dining and fast food options. Checkout process is easy, no incidental fees or holds. Queen beds weren’t queen, they are full size. Would stay again.

This was an awesome place to stay if you are catching a show at the Robins Theater. The area has a decent amount of restaurants for a smaller town, and walking around the nearby park was also a lot of fun. Overall, I give this hotel 4 stars because of location and friendly service. However, the rooms could use some updating, and I found it a little difficult to sleep due to the heater turning on and off.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy. But despite ample room size, there was no desk or table - no place at all to do work. So if all you want is a place to crash for a night, five stars. But if you expect to sit in your room and knock out some work, not possible in my room.

This was a nice downtown area hotel. The entry area feels inviting and the front desk staff was very pleasant. Though the room wasn't overly spacious, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast area was clean and the variety was pretty good. Fresh coffee made the morning!

Nicer on the inside than expected. Was clean & neat. Has a unique parking & man at desk/ check in was not helpful about how to get to parking lot. Not friendly. Vending was very low. However, lady at the complimentary breakfast was very nice & polite. I have never met anyone as nice & thoughtful as her!!

Sai spoke down to us when we were having trouble with the parking gate. He spoke as if we were incompetent when I reality, two of the cards were faulty and did not work at the gate or the door. That is no way to speak to ANY guest. You never know what someone is going through. We were in town for a funeral, so having this interaction soiled the whole experience at the hotel even though Sai apologized after I told him we did not appreciate how he spoke to us and that is no way to talk to anyone.

It was a last minute stay and we stayed for two night. Upon our arrival you can tell this was an old hotel, been around for a long time. The elevator was old and the entire decor was old. Our king bedded room was fine, the bathroom didn't have ventilation and there was only four very small pillows for a king bed. We didn't have face towels in our room which was one of my compliant. My main issue/complaint was when i purposely put the privacy please do not clean sign on the handle outside the door, and housekeeping went in the room anyway. We left ALL our belongings out because we didn't want service in our room. Housekeeping went in anyway and fix the bedding, but didnt vaccum, nor gave us fresh towels or cleaned the bathroom, they only fixed the bed. Now, I'm very upset! Why did they go in our room in the first place, and if they gonna go in, do the full cleaning of the room. I went to the from to tell them this and all i got was, well let housekeeping know. Just sad. Also, the continental breakfast could have been better. Should have other choice then pork sausage since most ppl don't eat pork. There wasn't much variety of cereal either. This place needs major upgrades and better service.

The property was very clean and well taken care of, given the mid-city location. The breakfast area was immaculately clean and well stocked. Better taken of than many of the more expensive options. The employees were extremely accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Never made it in the door Not in a nice looking area. Nowhere to park on street near hotel to check in to get access key to rear parking lot. Wound up getting another hotel across town. Lost our money on this hotel but definitely worth it to not have to stay there.

The building could use a little updating. Room and hotel overall were somewhat clean but could have been a little cleaner, the toilet seat in my room didn’t look like it got cleaned good enough. The location is good as far as proximity to restaurants/bars nearby but the area seemed a little unsafe especially at night.

i loved the fact that they had the Underground, their restaurant and bar on site, all we had to do was walk down the stairs, didnt have to be out in the cold and the wind. Had great food and drinks.. Awesome staff and friendly people!! Would stay again in a heart beat. breakfast was ok.

The free breakfast was horrible. Very little options. Hardly any of the hot food out in the serving containers. Bad, bad, bad. Secondly, no room service between the first and second day. Bed was not made. Towels not changed. This would not have been so bad if they had told me this, so I could have made the bed and hung up the towels.

Clean and quiet. Vending machine for water is pricy for $3.00. Bar downstairs charges 3.50 a can for water. Breakfast was ok. Lady who did breakfast was super nice. Bat downstairs is nice and food is good. Go to Sunrise Inn to eat. Only a few blocks away. Horeshoe bar good too!

I have stayed here many times but this time the breakfast was ice cold almost every day. Also, they assigned my room to another person who walked in after I had been there two days. Looks like they are under new management. Rest of it was fine.
