Granada Inn Motel

It was in a convenient location. Our beds looked like they had been slept in already. The upstairs second-floor walkway/room entrance looks like it is ready to fall off the building!! There is a considerable slope away from the building, and the railing does not look secure.I would not want to trust it to hold up if you slip and need the railing to save you.I can not believe that the upper platform would pass a safety inspection. There is NO WAY! The older gentleman at the front desk was pleasant to deal with

Didn’t like how doors barely shut

Office was closed when I arrived; called number on note and was hung up on the first time; called back and was told the office person would be there in a few minutes (10 minutes)! Check in took more than ten minutes because my Hotels.com reservation did not get to them so I paid the Granada Inn rate. The toilet bowl was not clean, and the hot water in the sink took more than 3 minutes to heat up.

It was absolutely disgusting! My daughter saw a cockroach climbing the wall hear where she was sleeping. The front door did not latch correctly and blew open in the middle of the night, and there was no lock on the window. Our room had to be repaired from prior guests who trashed the place, and a half eaten Chicken was left in the microwave for days! The towels and bed linens were dirty as well. Noisy neighbors, and walls so thin you could hear the loud music and smell the pot smoke from upstairs. Cereal and packaged cookies for breakfast. Nope, never again!"

Clean but they are in the middle of renovation

Bugs, dirty, garbage in drawers and under beds. Tv stopped working in morning, toilet had cigarettes/tobacco on entry. Dead spider under linen on check-in. Hotel in general in extreme decay, in major need of renovation. I booked reservations that they tried to get out of, but then did me a favor by letting me stay there…

It was the least expensive place in the area, because it’s in need of the ongoing remodeling. It was perfect for our needs for a night’s stay.

It was the only hotel available during the ice storm. My other option was to sleep in my service truck, I rather would have. Absolutely disgusting, got to the hotel at 5AM after working all night and it had no outlets, the coldest water. Bedding was disgusting, had stains, hair, dandruff all over it. The room door lock didn't work, and the slider was barely hanging on the wall. Whole place reeks of cigarettes including the bedding.

Property exterior very poor, expedia is overrating with that photo. Door was in terrible shape. Very difficult to open because of defective door jam. Chain lock on inside was installed wrong and poorly. Put chair under inside door for our added security. Continental breakfast offering was unexceptable. Room seemed fairly clean except near microwave area was sticky. Tub drain had no covering. No hangers on coat rack. Inadequate electrical plugs. No plugs for lighting either side of bed. Would not rate this as a hotel, more like a weekly for construction workers.

Room smelled of smoke even though it was advertised as a non smoking room. Refrigerator was filthy and smelled as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months.

This is an older building. The carpet was sticky and the bed looked like the sheets hadn't been changed. I had to sleep on top of it. Couldn't bring myself to crawl in it.

It was clean enough & clerk was very friendly, but the room smelled awful of cigarette smoke.

A few hours after check in I discovered a BED BUG crawling across the bed! I immediately informed the office of my finding, and the response was "sorry". They then informed me they do not issue refunds. Unable to use the room, I checked out and found other accommodations. The rooms and facility as a whole were outdated and rundown. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to travel home with bed bugs.

2 of the 4 rooms we had smelled like smoke.

There was a large amount of black mold in the bathroom. The front door did not shut completely and the chain lock would not have kept anyone out. My grand daughter felt unsafe. I was supposed to stay two nights, but chose to cancel the second night and was refunded. The front desk was very pleasant, but I feel that the owner will not address the black mold correctly. He had sent maintenance to replace the tile only. The mold needs to be remediated. I am considering asking for a refund for the first night as well. Currently, I am three days past staying there, and I am feeling ill with respiratory issues. I will be contacting the local health department to follow up. The units are very very old. I did take a picture of the mold, but I am unable to upload it at this time to the site.

The front desk woman was extremely friendly and the room was better than most of higher end hotels ive stayed at.

Nice room and beds but I reserved a room with a king size bed and got one with 2 full size beds. They were comfortable beds. And not much breakfast choices. Staff was friendly.

Our main problem was with the beds. Ours was what I refer to as an automatic snuggle bed. Meaning it sank so much in the middle we rolled towards each other automatically. Not ALWAYS a bad thing.... but I'd like to have a choice.

It was great over all small room and bathroom and no breakfast but cereal and coffee but the simple things are the best

The room itself was fine for a budget motel. We stayed in a 1st floor rm and there are rooms above.. the only bad thing was that someone was dancing or stomping around at 3am for about an hour? Really loud!! Almost sounded purposeful and it woke everyone up.

It’s average. Not a Marriott or Hilton but affordable. We did have a dirty towel (that makes you begin to question other things). The floor above (2nd floor) was excessively noisy. We heard every time they walked across the room.

The people in the room above ys were constantly wslking around until 2 a.m. The floor (our ceiling) was very cresky. It kept me awake. Also the heater, off and on also very loud.

The desk girl was exceptionally helpful and quick to address issues, and maintenance man came in from home to fix upside down lock (which did not lock on the door) Group of men in room directly over ours were quite rowdy No peace and quiet

The hospitality was great! Our room was clean and if we were hungry or wanted coffee in the morning we could have had that too! King sized bed was comfortable!

First they gave our reserved room to someone else and told me I pushed a wrong button when reserving it I reserved a double room with two double beds for four people and they were trying to say I reserved a single room with one king size bed. I pulled up my reservation to prove I did not and they lied to me saying the other people reserved that room a week before me when just before that they told me those people had just called to reserve a room and I did tell them that was not what they had just told me before that and he did not realize what he had already told me the ice maker was broke the fridge smelled like rotting fish. the rooms were dirty and when we went to sit on the bed it was broke and there was a hole in it my son in law had to sleep in a hole. I will never stay at this motel ever again. There wasn’t even an offer for any of my money back and as we was checking in I’m not sure what was going on with some other guests but they told them they do not give any refunds at all. Between the bed rail and box spring on the bed was a bunch of dirt and nasty stuff. I will never stay there ever again. Very disappointing and nasty.

They gave our room away and then gave us another room just for that one to be used and afrer that we said forget it and demanded our money back

what appeared to be a minor at desk when checking person checking me in said she works at Rodeway across the street, who said she didn't have any training to be there. had her young son with her. Son told to call his brother to start cooking their meal. at first she said all the rooms were occupied and it looked like my room door was cracked open, then she said it wasn't. disturning and distressing. i was afraid to wait for someone to come and help me, i was alone.

It was late when we arrived and no one was around to check up into a room. The was a sign with 2 phone numbers, we tried both many times no one answered.

Arrived with confirmation from expida driving 5 hours away to find out the property manager rent out the room we reserved no vacancy no near by hotels with vacancy

Hotel didn’t have our room upon check in. Checked to see if a late check in was arriving and multiple people called to say he was arriving. One person even pretending to be on the phone with the person. Horrible vibes.

I did not care for standing in the lobby for more than 15 minutes waiting for the person to show up to check us in. No sign on the door saying if he was coming back or what. The room was clean, but the bathroom was messy. Hair in the drain, used soap still in the tub holder, rooms are non smoking, yet all night, all you smelled was cigarette smoke. Only stay here if you have no other option. The good side was you are right off 131. And there is a grocery store and fast food if you need it

The room was disgusting with dead bugs everywhere. Very noisy, the free breakfast only consists of like 3 things, not worth any money but there was no other vacancies and it wasn’t refundable. Will not be staying here ever again. Mentioned bugs to the staff and they responded with “sorry about that.” They had people digging through trash for cans. The overhang with rooms looks like it’s ready to collapse.
