Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto

Great one night layover before heading home, 15 minute free shuttle to airport. Free breakfast was great hot & cold items and fresh coffee machine. In an industrial area no grocery store or restaurants nearby, but did enjoy room service, limited items but all were fresh & tasty. Room was ok, the headboard was hard and was bumpy, you definitely need a pillow against it. Shower had good water pressure, lights in room were fluorescent and not very soothing, no real views from our window, in industrial area. Gym was good, didn’t use pool but was told it was heated. Elevator was small but nice to have!

Ok when an airport hotel says they have a shuttle to the airport but then it doesn’t start running until 5 AM so is useless for flights first thing in the morning ( and taxi costs 32 euros before a tip) when the wake up call you scheduled does not ring into your room and when their fancy bathroom sink has scum all along the sink drain one is not favorably impressed. In fact one is just really not happy.

The staff help me figure out how to take metro. The room was perfect.

Restaurant refused to allow me to take a plate and knife to my room? Hotel is near the airport but right in the middle of an industrial zone. There is NO going out for a neighborhood walk for fresh air, the entire area is industrial.
