We have been going to Wildwood and staying at the White Caps motel every summer since 2021 and it has always been a great experience. The motel itself is quite standard, but it’s super close to the boardwalk and in such a convenient location. We also love the pool and the staff at the motel. We’ll be back next year.

Good location, bad quality of service. Before asking to be moved when they had an opening the 2nd day, we were put in a literal cement hole in the wall with no window (only one in bathroom)! Felt like jail, tiny. This was never told or advertised as such, and most definitely should be disclosed. As for the facilities, no drainage near pool, flooding all around the 1st floor, no functioning ice machine (told it’s broke and has been broke), ants in the room also. Door kept locked and unable to find anyone if towels needed, no functioning TV (one fuzzy channel). Motel hasn’t been given any love in a long time. Needs some cleaning and TLC.

Comfortable motel in a convenient location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was very well maintained and clean. our room was mostly updated with new tile in the bathroom and a new vanity and sink and new backsplash and cabinets in the kitchen. The air conditioner worked really well. There was an ice machine and propane grills. the negatives were that the furniture has not been updated... the refrigerator was not full size... and the property allows pets so I woke up every morning to the sound barking... those were only minor inconveniences. we had a very nice stay

We love the location, short walk to Boardwalk and beach. Room was nice. Pool was nice. Parking was good, I saw reviews that you get parked in, this is not true!

Horribly in need of updating but very clean. Only one room key available, which makes it difficult with two people sharing a room with differing schedules. Ice machine broken at a beach side motel with no alternative? Very inconvenient to have a 15 minute walk in 90 degree heat each way to a convenience store to buy ice that was mostly melted upon return.

Super friendly staff, very clean and quiet! Check out was 10-11AM, but they let us park in the lot until 3PM so we could hit the boardwalk one last time before headed out. The room was pretty snug but clean and cool from the AC unit. One thing I’d note is that it is one parking spot per room, regardless of room size due to the age of the building and parking lot. This wasn’t an issue for us since we carpooled, and I wouldn’t fault the owners for something out of their control. They were super kind and suggested some other places for free parking if we needed it. :) would stay again!

Great place to stay with a large family, has a kitchen and grill. Close to boardwalk.

The pool was nice and clean. There was a rooftop deck area to sit and look around. The motel was just a few minutes away from the boardwalk and game area and you can easily walk there. The room was just a little small, and there were 2 queen beds in there. There wasn't much room to walk, but if you are there just to enjoy North Wildwood, you probably will not be in your room that much anyway. Price was good. Staff was super helpful. They monitor the parking so that everyone has a space because the space to park is limited. There were no bugs in our room and they did take the trash out without being asked. They did not provide shower essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but there were clean towels. The room served its purpose and I wouldn't mind staying there again if I wanted to have the proximity to the beach and boardwalk at a fair price.

Honestly, this place was awesome; the staff provided everything needed quickly. I had a fridge that wouldn't shut and was leaking a little water. I took my dog for a walk, and when I came back, they were putting a new fridge in within an hour—that's amazing. My only complaints are that they need a larger side parking area and need updated TVs and better cable.

Dog friendly is a plus. Rooms are a little dirty but you get what you pay for.

The odor inside room was unbearable and disgusting, probably from lots of people previously smoking in room and mold mildew from leaks and odor from dirty conditions in room. I kept the bathroom window and kitchenette window open the entire time I was in the room. If I had no windows to open, I would have slept inside my car. Also the visible filth and dirt was all over this room and I took 18 pictures to prove this to everybody. Baseboard moldings at floor were filthy, lamp shade was black mold filthy, power bar on desk was filthy, etc, etc.. This mold and odor in this room is probably harmful to the health of a human being. This Motel should be shut down immediately until these problems are corrected. And it is probably not even possible for the strong odor to be removed from this room. So probably time to condemm this Motel and tear it down for the good of all !!! I left after one night stay and I was supposed to stay two nights but no way, one night was more than I could Handle !!!

We had a great stay. Staff was friendly and everything was clean.

Room very clean. Staff attentive. Only negative was all the smoke outside the rooms. Thought is was nonsmoking. Should have a separate area, not right outside the rooms

The rooms are old but very clean. Employee Teresa was a Gem. Very attentive and accommodating. Only issue AC needs upgraded. Bed was horrible. Springy old mattress. Didnt get any sleep. It was bad. If they upgrade beds it would be perfect.

I booked a room for the weekend and for the price I paid it wasn’t up to par AT ALL. I legit had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the room top to bottom, I don’t think they cleaned it at all, not even swept the floor. Being a dog friendly place, cleaning should be deep cleaning done after every stay. I bought a whole new bed set because their set had dog hair and stains all over it even the mattress cover!! I felt dirty even though I took 3 showers a day. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom and there was black mold in the tub on the walls. The door could’ve been easily opened even when locked with just one little push and the window blinds were packed with an inch of dirt. I asked for a room change but they said they couldn’t accommodate that. The TV was like a 33 inch and sitting on top of a refrigerator that had rust all over it. They had no control over the parking as anyone can park in the parking lot, I came back a lot of times to no parking. Only thing good I can say is the front desk woman, who is blonde and tall, she was very respectful, nice and efficient for check in and would answer calls immediately. Other than that, I would never go here again

The motel has a good location, and the pool is small. However, they need to improve their cleanliness significantly. There was a lot of dust behind the beds, the linens covering the mattress looked very dirty and had moisture stains, and the lamp looked very dirty and had moisture stains. The air conditioner didn't have a remote control.

At check in we were not given the room that we booked, no explanation was given. The bed was not clean. The pillows had dirt in them and dog hair and what appeared to be pubic hair stuck all over the back side of the bed spread. There was no dish soap, pot holders, or sponges. Dishes that were in the cabinets had food stuck on them. Upon opening the silverware drawer the silverware was so dirty the smell of rotting food came out. I’ve machines weren’t plugged in either. Front curtain was see through and there wasn’t a blind to cover the window This was very disappointing as the advertisement made the place seem beautiful.

Room was clean but dated. Our room had 2 beds which made the room tight. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Beds were comfortable. Only 2 hangers in the closet. There was only 1 small bar of soap provided and no tissues. No coffee maker. No cups or glasses were provided. Super small microwave. Parking was a premium. We were afraid to drive anywhere and lose our spot but easy walk to many things. Apparently, the hotel is pet friendly. Every other room seemed to have a dog. Which was not a problem. It would be good choice with a pet.

The people running the place were nice. I had a one-bed room with no window, so it was kind of dreary. There was a window in the bathroom, but the blinds didn't go all the way down. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

The pictures on the internet do not match the room. The furniture was from the 1970s The refrigerator was 40 years old. This motel should be sued for false advertising

Really nice location, staff was very nice and accommodating, room was big , comfortable beds, ice cold ac and fridge and freezer were great and full sized everything was good we ended up staying a extra night. Just so close to everything, some places may be closer to beach or boardwalk but not by much but we were close to the main part of the boardwalk and it was great

Easy to get to from the Garden State Parkway. Parking on property. Clean room, comfortable bed and good AC. I was there for a show at Seaport Pier and it was a 10 minute walk from White Caps. Theresa checked me in and being it was my first time at Wildwood she pointed out some great food and shopping in the area. Great all around experience.

A nice surprise when we arrived at noon to ask if we could park on premises until check in. The front desk clerk asked my name and told me our room was ready and we could check in now. Wow! Room was clean, new mattresses, pillows, looked like recently renovated. Some disposable cups in bathroom for tooth brushing are necessary. Quiet. Clean. Will come back again. One block from beach and boards and Moreys Amusement Piers.

I seen a mouse run across the floor, I immediately went down and told the woman working at the front desk. She moved me to another room and then not even 2 hours later there was a whole family in that same room!!!! The room I was relocated into smelled like urine and there was mold all over underneath the kitchen sink and it was hidden by a towel! And my window did not lock and I went down to tell the same woman that told me she would check with the owner to see what she could do about my mouse situation and never got back to me for over 2 hours, said she would have maintenance take care of it and they put a screw in the window to hold it open. There was about 50 gnats flying around in that room with an open floor leading to what look to be like an underground basement. I had to cover it with a 100 lb dresser with myself and my child. I was told I can get a refund but I would have to leave right away! I mean come on I'm not telling you that you have outdated the walls and blankets, I am telling you I just seen a mouse run across my floor! And then to put me in an even dirtier room..I would have drove home but I cannot drive at night so I was forced to stay there all night and then leave the second it got light out. The next morning I went down to complain to the owner which I told to be there at 9:00 a.m. and there was no one there and I waited until almost noon see if I can talk to somebody and the door was still locked and nobody was in sight! Never stay here!!!

A fantastic, affordable option that exceeds expectations. Pet friendly which is why we chose it. Staff is phenomenal and super-welcoming. Will absolutely be revisiting next year.

The Staff at the White Caps are great. They were very accommodating and polite.

Loved my stay at White Caps, not the most luxurious motel in Wildwood but the room was great for what we needed and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had a nice kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator, and the beds were king sized which is rare for a motel I’ve ever stayed at. It is a block and a half away from the boardwalk/beach which is amazing. We went in October so it was the off season but the price was unbeatable and they even upgraded our room for free. I will definitely look to stay there again in the future.

The White Caps is pet & people friendly! Kate & her staff: Kat, Bruce, Teresa & others bend over backwards to accommodate & welcome all guests. Any needs or wants any guest request & the staff delivers! The accomodations are clean, comfortable, there are kitchens available & lots of sleeping spots in every room. The rates are family friendly as well & one gets great bang for their buck! It's a lovely & quaint motel/hotel built in 1959 & we love it!

My husband and I stayed at this place because it was pet-friendly. Overall, it wasn't the best. -They were very rigid about letting us check in before 3:00 -Floors were filthy -Odd pool hours -Barely any parking -Broken chair in the room -Fridge was iffy Would not stay here in the future
