We enjoyed our stay at The Charm Resort Beach. The resort itself is lovely, with great facilities including a well-equipped gym, relaxing sauna, and a stunning rooftop infinity pool overlooking the beach. Our room was modern, clean, and just a short walk from the beach, shops, and plenty of dining options. The front desk staff were excellent — always friendly and quick to help whenever we had a question or needed assistance. That said, our stay had a few hiccups. On the first day, there was a planned power outage, and guests were advised to be away from the resort between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. We made the most of it by exploring and shopping, but it wasn’t the best way to start the holiday. The following morning, an unexpected power outage occurred due to a fault at the resort’s entrance, again leaving rooms and facilities unusable for several hours. Housekeeping could also be more proactive — while they did a great job when asked, items like towels and consumables weren’t replenished automatically during our stay. Once we requested service, though, the team responded quickly and did an excellent job. Despite the interruptions, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience overall. The Family Suite is especially good value — spacious and ideal for families looking to stay close to the action while still enjoying resort-style comfort.

First 2 nights had to battle to get staff to clean air conditioning as room smelt like raw sewerage. Top pool was dirty. Personal pool around the building for 10 rooms had not been clean properly for 2 years. Steps to get in and out of pool had old worn out rubber so loud noise that would annoy the neighbours when getting in and out of pool.

Location was great however the swim out pool was a embarrassment, all the tiles were stained and unkept and wasn’t worth the extra money- the main pool area was great but the pool itself was also stained and the grout mouldy some of the pool lights had also fallen out off their position and dangled in the water, the staff were nothing short of amazing- pity the owners didn’t take pride in what they have, would I stay there again? Staff are helpful. The room description is inaccurate; it says that there is a sofa-bed, but it was not a bed, it was an old somewhat dirty bed with a repaired cushion that you cannot sit on it. Bathroom needs deep cleaning; there were mold in the shower area.

I am very disappointed with my stay. I was given an upgrade and early check in, which was nice. However, the cleanliness issues I experienced were unacceptable. I dropped my bags off after checking in, and I noticed that there were bloodstains and a hair on my bedding. I asked them to replace the bedding. I returned later that night, and they had replaced the bedding. However, I then went to the restroom and noticed a TOENAIL on the floor (it was not mine, as I had left for the whole day). This was absolutely disgusting. It was too late at night to have housekeeping remake the room, so I was going to wait until the next day. However, I then found 3 ants on the desk, and a coiled hair on the ground. I called to ask to check out early the next day, and I asked if I could just pay for the night I stayed, but they said I would have to pay in full because of my nonrefundable rate. They offered me a new room, but I was so grossed out that I didn’t even want to risk the new room being just as bad. This is NOT a “luxury” resort. It was obvious very little housekeeping had been done before I entered the room. I ended up leaving and just paying in full. Stay at the Four Points next door— excellent housekeeping and service there. I gave 2 stars because The Charm had kind people and a large room, but these were the ONLY good things about the resort.

Vi hade en mycket dålig upplevelse på The Charm. Det fanns vägglöss i vårt rum, vilket gjorde att vi inte kunde stanna kvar. Vi var tvungna att byta hotell akut och eftersom risken för att ta med vägglössen vidare var stor behövde vi slänga en stor del av våra kläder, vilket blev en betydande extra kostnad. Det mest frustrerande var att hotellet vägrade ge återbetalning trots situationen. Det här är inte bara en fråga om obekvämlighet, utan om hygien och säkerhet. Pros: directly across from the beach, within walking distance to any sort of nightlife if that’s your scene but also recluse enough to have a quiet, secluded vibe, the rooftop pool is great and the views from the pool are amazing, the staff are extremely friendly. Dinner was pretty good too! Cons: not very clean. The housekeeping staff didn’t clean the bathroom the entire time we were there which is a huge deal for me, the hallways weren’t the cleanest and the room smelled weird. The window looking out into the room from the bathroom had visible handprints on them from who knows when & the shower section had mildew on the tiles and mold in the crevices. The towels had stains and holes in them (smelled like they had been washed and dried though) Breakfast was okay the first day but the variety was slim to none the last day we were there. Plenty of fruits though which I thoroughly enjoyed! Overall, probably wouldn’t stay here again but for a quick 3 day trip, it served its purpose

The room was spacious, there was a single and a queen size bed ( the big bed had a bit of a dip in it where most people would recline to watch tv (me too), so for sleeping I moved to the middle of the bed - that was my only quibble sitting the week I was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the woman who made up my room (even though I'm not a tipper I did this time). Charm Resort is a great location- over the road from the beach and a short walk to shops and eating places. If you need a bike (scooter) to get around the island on you could try MrJack who is such a nice bloke and his missus makes a great coffee contact them on +66890443035

Beautiful service and the staff go out of their way for you. Very friendly. The two story duplex apartments are very badly built! Water leakage inside bedroom. Noise from air conditioning and outside generators. If you book maybe seek other rooms. Too far from Bangalore road.

I booked 2 rooms and both had issues. One smelt very damp and i found dust that had been there for a while. The other rooms AC would not cool at all. The door alarm kept going off. Water pressure in both rooms made it very hard to have a decent shower. The staff at the reception just seemed very unbothered and clearly confused on alot of matters. Wasnt very happy with the stay so we ended up staying out most of the days. Plus- the roof top pool and view. Thats all.

Lovely resort in a great location walking distance to Patong beach and main shopping areas but far enough away to be quiet and avoid the craziness of central Patong. Rooftop infinity pool is def the resort's drawcard where you can relax with a drink and order food and enjoy great views of the beach. Breakfast buffet is great and food in general. Staff and service is very good. The resort rooms are starting to look a bit tired and rundown - could do with some maintenance and modernising/renovation. Shower pressure not great. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment but the living area and couch is small. TVs don't have Netflix. Some sliding doors are difficult to open. No spare power points anywhere in the living area - had to put the kettle in the bedroom. The beds are big and very comfortable

Would love to visit again. The only issue we had was the water did not heat up in the bath so was unable to use bath in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and I was able to check in slightly earlier than the standard 3pm time. The room was on the second floor, which was accessible by a small staircase or the lift (which was further down the hall). The room was incredibly spacious with a balcony, table and two chairs. It also had a small clothes line attached to the outside wall, which was handy for drying clothes. The bathroom, while tired and needing a bit of an upgrade, was large with a huge, deep bath and double-sized shower. Towels were replaced daily. The room had two comfortable beds and a number of pillow options to choose from. The roof top pool is what makes the hotel. With brilliant views over the main beach in Patong, plenty of lounge chairs and a swim up pool bar, it was a great place to relax and enjoy a sunset. The breakfast was basic but plentiful. The egg station was a highlight. Overall, the hotel was a great, affordable option that's close proximity to shopping, food markets, the beach, and of course Bangla Rd. It was a fantastic place to stay as a solo traveller, with other like-minded people staying at the same time. The travel and tour desk was great and knowledgeable, and you couldn't fault the staff - they truly made the hotel a special place.

The evening staff was rude and needed retraining. There was a misunderstanding from Expedia and the hotel side and instead of figuring out the next day and check us in (we arrived at 12am but was forced to wait outside and wasn't able to check in until nearly 2am). We had to talk to Expedia for the issue to moved forward. We were really upset and unhappy. Unfortunately we couldn't get the refund and ended up staying. The service for the rest of the stay was not too bad but that first night left a huge bad impression.

Although we had issues with brown water coming from the jacuzzi and our air conditioning stopped, both problems were sorted out quickly. The people at the hotel could not do more to help you, they were all excellent . The hotel was in a great location, 5-10 min walk on the beach front into the centre. The staff at this hotel were all amazing, helpful, and kind. The location is right across from patong beach which was very convenient, as well as there were lots of taxis available just outside the hotel. The deluxe room with the separate bedroom was so great and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only problem with the room was that the AC in the bedroom was leaking quite a lot at some times, but the other AC in the kitchen worked fine. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the willingness to help from all the staff.

This is a great place and comes at a reasonable price point. The room was large, the bed comfy. My room had a shaded balcony and was reasonably quiet. Slippers, robe, safe and umbrellas were provided. The restaurant and bars are very reasonable. What could be improved is breakfast. It was crowded and trays ran out frequently. The coffee was just the instant kind. For the money, this is a solid choice in a great location.

The service was good. Food was good and reasonably priced. Roof top pool is amazing with view of the beach. It is away from all the attractions eg. Elephant trekking, ATV, the Big Buddha, etc. The refundable security payment of Bhat 3000 or £100 is too much. Disappointed that we requested for Bidget to be repaired on the first day but it did not happen. Overall was ok and would stay again.

We stayed at The Charm Resort Patong. Such a wonderful choice. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The restaurant Allure is excellent. Food was some of the best food we had during our one month stay in Thailand. Roof top pool and bar was perfect and the views were outstanding. Highly recommend. We will definitely return to The Charm Resort on our next trip to Patong. Thank You to all the Staff at the resort for such a wonderful vacation.

I had a great time at the charm resort it was close to everything. It was about ten minutes walk to patong beach and the beach was also right cross the street. They staff was very friendly and hands on. The only Thing I didn't like that people was throwing food off the balcony, which brought a lot of bugs by our pool deck. The breakfast was ok but the serve the same thing everyday. Also the egg station the egg was not cook well. But overall my stay was ok
