Great terrace to have breakfast on and enjoy the view of Lake Geneva. A charming garden with roses as well as fruits, vegetables and herbs on the property, which show up on the breakfast buffet. I was traveling solo so stayed on the top floor (which is an attic). I found I had to bend over more than I expected and bumped my head a few times. I would stay again but only on floors 1 or 2. Staff were great. Not air-conditioned, which most of the year is not a problem, but I was there at the end of a heat wave and suffered despite the fan the hotel provided.

Enjoyed two nights at the Bon Rivage. It was a nice quiet place to stay and a quiet public beach right outside the property. The included breakfast is amazing! All locally sourced or grown onsite, resulting in delicious food.

The property is right on the lakeside and within easy walking distance from the centre of Vevey. The views lakeside are fantastic and change every day depending on the weather. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The bus runs along the main road at the main entrance side of the hotel and they are on time, frequent and there is a bus stop just less than a minutes walk away. Trains are close by too as are the paddle steamers. There is access through the hotel garden down to the promenade which runs all the way from La Tour-de-Peilz to Vevey. The hotel including the rooms are very clean and well looked after, perhaps not totally up to date and might need bringing up to date in places but that was not a problem and was really quite charming. For me the bed was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. It was starting to get hot whilst we were there and we thought that opening the window would cause noise problems (we were roadside) but in the end we were fine. The breakfasts were good although a little bit of variation wouldn't go amis. The staff were extremely obliging and helpful except for the last morning when the young waitress in the dining room thought that it was a good idea to open the patio doors really wide which made the dining room very cold. A lot of people complained as there were a lot of elderly people there and eventually the problem was resolved. For us it was the perfect place to stay at that time.

We had a wonderful meeting with old friends in this hotel which includes several indoor and outdoor areas to gather and spend maravillous time in front of the lake. Outdoor areas and terraces offer wonderful views of the lake and surroundings. Staff was amazing and very serviceable. It was really great.

L'établissement a beaucoup de caché, les prestations sont de qualités et les details très soignés font toute la difference. Le cadre est ravissant et les extérieurs joliment fleuris et entretenus. J'y reviendrai avec ul très grand plaisir.

(Nous étions en pleine canicule mais un ventilateur est cependant présent dans la chambre) Déco un peu datée années 90 mais qui reste encore acceptable. Bon rapport qualité prix pour cette catégorie d’établissement. Petit déjeuner excellentissime: des produits frais, faits maison et originaux (comme ces yaourts aromatisés au romarin ou au thym) Le tout servi aux beaux jours sur une jolie terrasse avec une vue magnifique. Personnel gentil et avenant.

Hôtel très bien situé entre Vevey et Montreux, accessibles facilement grâce aux titres de transport fournis par l'hôtel, gratuitement. Stationnement gratuit dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel. Personnel discret et efficace. Belle chambre, très bien entretenue et insonorisée. La poutre au milieu de la chambre est un peu perturbante. Cabine de douche trop petite à notre goût, mais c'est un détail. Copieux petit déjeuner (la mise à disposition d'un grille pain serait un plus...sauf si nous ne l'avons pas vu).

It’s a very nice hotel on the lake. Very clean, well maintained. Rooms are adequate size and have what you need. There’s tea on each floor. Breakfast is good. The location is ok but will take some bus ride to get to Montreux

Really nice place and Vevey was a great town. The only negative was the showers are very small [seemed like 30 x 30 inches]. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good!

The hotel is Ok and given hotel costs in the area a reasonable price. There are some areas that could be improved. Firstly the internet sign on is clunky and old fashioned and connections are slow and not very reliable. Breakfast hours could also be extended at weekends as people want to eat later and so the breakfast room becomes full quickly. Lakeside rooms have a good view but are a little noisy in the morning if you are low down as you are over the restaurant terrace. All in all though not a bad choice and a great location

The whole stay was great. We loved tb lake location and our comfortable room in the eaves of this wonderful hotel. The breakfast was delicious and served in such a calm and welcoming environment. The front desk staff were incredible friendly and welcoming.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage am See, man kann zu Fuß nach Vevey laufen oder den Bus nehmen (kostenlos mit der Montreux Riviera Card, die man im Hotel bekommt). Für Allergiker ist es allerdings nicht geeignet. Wobei mich nicht der Teppichboden gestört hat, sondern die Dekoration mit Strohballen, Birkenästen und Trockenblumen im Restaurant und damit auch beim Frühstück. Nach zehn Minuten waren meine Augen und Nase zugeschwollen. Leider war das Wetter nicht so gut, dass wir immer draußen auf der Terrasse im schönen Garten essen konnten. Abends haben wir es gar nicht geschafft, was schade war, weil das Restaurant gut sein soll. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist etwas eintönig. Die Sachen sind zwar hochwertig (bis auf die zu hartgekochten und eiskalten Eier), aber es gab die übersichtliche Auswahl (drei Schinken- und zwei Käsesorten) die gesamten zehn Tage lang. Auch nichts für Allergiker: als Obst nur Äpfel und unreife Birnen, in der selbstgemachten Marmelade Walnüsse. Das Bircher Müsli war wässrig und bitter. Aber Die Zimmer sind solide, aber altbacken eingerichtet. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr klein (keine Sitzgelegenheit, nur einen Schreibtisch mit Stühlen). The whole stay was great. We loved tb lake location and our comfortable room in the eaves of this wonderful hotel. The breakfast was delicious and served in such a calm and welcoming environment. The front desk staff were incredible friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful meeting with old friends in this hotel which includes several indoor and outdoor areas to gather and spend maravillous time in front of the lake. Outdoor areas and terraces offer wonderful views of the lake and surroundings. Staff was amazing and very serviceable. It was really great.

We did a room change when we saw that our reservation was not lakeview. Unfortunately the room that we were switch to was a bit smaller than our original reserved room, however, the view from this room was magnificent . We enjoyed the breakfast provided. La Tour de Peilz is a beautiful layed back community. The hotel was only a short but beautiful walk along Lake Geneva to the town square. We took a 4 hour cruise around the lake which departed from Montreux and dropped us off at the Vevey port. This area is a must see to get a true taste of southern Switzerland and the Bon Rivage is a fantastic hotel to stay when touring this area

The property is right on the lakeside and within easy walking distance from the centre of Vevey. The views lakeside are fantastic and change every day depending on the weather. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The bus runs along the main road at the main entrance side of the hotel and they are on time, frequent and there is a bus stop just less than a minutes walk away. Trains are close by too as are the paddle steamers. There is access through the hotel garden down to the promenade which runs all the way from La Tour-de-Peilz to Vevey. The hotel including the rooms are very clean and well looked after, perhaps not totally up to date and might need bringing up to date in places but that was not a problem and was really quite charming. For me the bed was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. It was starting to get hot whilst we were there and we thought that opening the window would cause noise problems (we were roadside) but in the end we were fine. The breakfasts were good although a little bit of variation wouldn't go amis. The staff were extremely obliging and helpful except for the last morning when the young waitress in the dining room thought that it was a good idea to open the patio doors really wide which made the dining room very cold. A lot of people complained as there were a lot of elderly people there and eventually the problem was resolved. For us it was the perfect place to stay at that time.

Lovely hotel with beautiful location on the lake. It's a bit outside on Montreux, but they kindly provided free bus travel which runs every 10 minutes from a bus stop right outside the hotel. Rooms and breakfast were all lovely. There is also a pleasant lounge area and outdoor terrace. A good tip is to take the bus from the hote about half way to town and alight at Clarens-Basset. This hotel is lovely. While it is not a 4 or 5 star, it is very nice. It is clean and details are noticed. It is on the lake with great views. The breakfast is amazing, probably one of the best that I've seen anywhere with local produce, homemade healthy items. The restaurant for lunch and dinner features small plates which are also very good. Highly recommend.

What an amazing property. Beautiful grounds, gardens where they grow many of the ingredients for their meals, amazing views from the rooms facing the water, conveniently located, and most important of all, is the top of the class staff. So helpful, so thoughtful, so friendly, so “Let me think outside the box.” Not only do I say I would stay here again, I’m in the process of making future plans to do so.

Hotel Bon Rivage was fantastic! The rooms were a little basic but had everything we needed and the location could not be better. The access to lake was phenomenal on such hot days and we sat out in the garden in the evenings to enjoy the view. We were informed that the hotel would be closing for a two-year long renovation and there may be some upgrades to help cool the rooms, which will be very helpful if these heatwaves continue.
