Prachtig resort met super vriendelijk personeel. Rustig gelegen en met de resort shuttlebus ben je in no time bij alle winkels en het strand. Het uitzicht op de rotsen vanuit het zwembad is adembenemend!

Very good and relaxing stay. Nice rooms and nice garden area. Very excellent breakfast with all you can think of. Very convenient with the shuttle service. This was my second stay and we loved the relaxing stay also the very nice pool area.

It's very nice resort. You feel the tropical nature around you. Unfortunately, the resort is currently under renovation. It's a bit messy and inconvenient. However the staff was great and put their best effort to facilitate us.

The Ban Sainai was like staying on a tropical island. It is very spread out, but the staff were always ready to drive you from your room to the pool or reception area. The breakfasts were very good as were the meals at the pool. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and we spent plenty of time there. The resort has a regular shuttle schedule to take you to the beach. This was an awesome experience to stay at the Ban Sainai.

Be aware: this is a MUSLIM, dry hotel. Five times a day you will hear the loud-speakers from the mosque nearby with chanting songs/ prayer call. Location is beautiful, good and quiet (except for the 5 prayer calls that start right before the sun comes up). Staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool is very nice and you can order food and non-alcoholic drinks. Buffet breakfast was good, plus they have a menu to choose from (they do delicious scrambled eggs). The room was nice and clean. A few improvements needed in the room: the decorative mosquito net over the bed gets annoyingly tugged by the pillow. The lighting in the bathroom sucks. The grounds are beautiful; just know that they have large, Asian Water Monitor lizards. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Ban Sainai Resort was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The pool area and gym is very good and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed the family room. Thank you for a lovely visit in Ao Nang!

Beautiful hotel, all staff are so lovely and helpful. Peaceful location but also easy access to main centre, bar, shops etc. this is an amazing hotel and our stay here was very memorable. Just one point that we didn’t realise until we got to the hotel, there is no alcohol sold at the property, but they don’t mind you bringing alcohol into the hotel if you want some with your meal etc.

The location of the resort was scenic and private but still a short walk from shops and restaurants. The pool area was very clean and easy to use. Staff went above and beyond, with food service, tuk tuk service and helping with general questions. Highly recommend!

Det mest service minded personale vi længe har prøvet, de var simpelhen bare så gode👍👍. Stedet var utrolig smukt og udsigten til limestone klipperne fra poolen var fantastisk. Morgenmaden som var inkluderet var en fornøjelse.. Men desværre et lille/stort minus! Vi var blevet informeret om en uge inden ankomst at der på stedet ville være renovering af hytter på resortet. Vi var desværre ikke fået info om at vi ville være nærmeste nabo til hamren, banken og boremaskine larm fra 9 til 17 hverdag. Vi blev ved tjek in tilbudt at vi kunne flytte til et andet hotel, men det var Ban Sainai vi ville bo på!!! Vi blev de 7 nætter vi havde bestilt og alt i alt var det en fantastisk oplevelse, som vi gerne vil opleve igen, dog uden renovering. Tak til Ban Sainai teamet som gjorde alt til at vi fik en go ferie..

Clean room, very friendly, good customer service, great nature view at the restaurant and free breakfast was great quality. Only downside was the loud Muslim prayer time down the street that took away from the feeling of being secluded in nature. But the rooms are pretty sound proof and I would still highly recommend the resort. Pool was really nice too. We were very happy with our stay.

This was supposed to be a 4* hotel which in Thailand normally means great hotel great staff and clean and tidy - out stay was certainly not. Covid has had an impact of course and staff numbers are reduced as expected but unfortunately that means that gardeners and general maintenance isn’t upto spec. Maybe when things get back to some sort of normal and staff numbers are increased it will get back to its 4* status. Having said that our stay was ok, we enjoyed the quietness, 4 days was enough and we were happy to move on .

Angenehm entspanntes Ressort in einer sehr schönen tropischen Anlage in direkter Nachbarschaft zur dramatisch aufragenden Felswand. Abseits vom touristischen Rummel von Ao Nang gelegen - und dennoch nicht weit entfernt davon, wenn man Lust darauf bekommt. Ich empfehle unbedingt eine der Villas am See (idealerweise nr 1405, 1406 oder 1407) - der Blick aus der Hängematte über den kleinen See auf den Palmenbestand und die Felswand ist unbezahlbar. Und sonst? Mitarbeiter natürlich alle sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkünfte waren dem Preis angemessen und das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Scooter oder Auto mieten bietet sich in der Region sowieso an, da es viel zu entdecken gibt - die Straßen sind teilweise atemberaubend gut.

Great stay at Krabi. I’ve been around the world. Focusing on breaches. This was by far my best stay in terms of accommodation. The design of the cottages/villas were awesome. If you have a family. They have family villas with separate rooms! We had the front outdoor kitchen. Tub. Hammock. And even the showers were nicely designed. Love this place. The front desk ensured great service. Always with a smile! Greeted with cold wet towel. Cold tea. Delicious. Pool was awesome. Restaurant/ breakfast buffet was delicious! They have shuttle daily for your convenience set distances around town. Love this place! My best ever stay!

The property was beautiful, especially the view from the pool area. The staff were excellent and very attentive. Comfortable beds and great pillows, nice rooms. Would recommend, out of our 6 hotels in Thailand this was a favourite.

Ao Nang is great to visit but not so relaxing if you can't escape to somewhere like this! Felt like 2 stays in 1 with contrast of the lively streets and beach and returning to this mini oasis with wonderful wildlife, great room space and shared pool. Fabulous family adjoining room with massive indoor and outdoor space, probably the best of 5 hotel stays of similar budget, although this was most expensive. Would stay here again and recommend to others, but service is not as refined as other reviews suggest. Front desk great, but it takes more than friendly gardeners for rest of resort to work well and we found breakfast to be worse than other hotels, not so much quality as things not being replenished, hot food orders were muddled all 3 days, and not quite the variety of other places we've stayed (Outrigger Khao Lak tough benchmark!). Coffee in room is great but then wasn't replenished after first day, and no English breakfast in rooms even though it ran out every morning at breakfast! (And again, had to ask for it to be restocked. Staff on phone, just not alert to what needed doing.) 3 nights here felt like the optimum for us on a 2 week trip. Ban Sainai Resort was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The pool area and gym is very good and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed the family room. Thank you for a lovely visit in Ao Nang!

This place is magical! The grounds are quiet and beautiful and we loved the traditional feel of the cottages. Each cottage is tucked into the jungle and is immaculate and spacious. They work hard to anticipate your every need and they work hard to add that personal touch. I book according to the reviews of previous guests and often guests will claim that the staff is what makes a place exceptional. Nowhere have I stayed where this is more the case than Ban Sanai. I really got the sense that the staff are all working together to give their guests the best experience possible and are committed to developing an excellent reputation. I would return to this resort in a heartbeat. If you book, you will not be disappointed.

The back drop of the mountains is stunning. Lovely pool area and great outside space in our room. As friends we shared a two bed with a hammock and outdoor kitchenette. Literally the only bad thing I can think of this that the lighting in the bedrooms could have more ambience. Just different lightbulbs would make a massive! Obviously this is the tiniest issue. The free shuttle bus to the beach was really useful and unexpected. Highlight recommend.

Great stay at Krabi. I’ve been around the world. Focusing on breaches. This was by far my best stay in terms of accommodation. The design of the cottages/villas were awesome. If you have a family. They have family villas with separate rooms! We had the front outdoor kitchen. Tub. Hammock. And even the showers were nicely designed. Love this place. The front desk ensured great service. Always with a smile! Greeted with cold wet towel. Cold tea. Delicious. Pool was awesome. Restaurant/ breakfast buffet was delicious! They have shuttle daily for your convenience set distances around town. Love this place! My best ever stay!

This was supposed to be a 4* hotel which in Thailand normally means great hotel great staff and clean and tidy - out stay was certainly not. Covid has had an impact of course and staff numbers are reduced as expected but unfortunately that means that gardeners and general maintenance isn’t upto spec. Maybe when things get back to some sort of normal and staff numbers are increased it will get back to its 4* status. Having said that our stay was ok, we enjoyed the quietness, 4 days was enough and we were happy to move on .

Be aware: this is a MUSLIM, dry hotel. Five times a day you will hear the loud-speakers from the mosque nearby with chanting songs/ prayer call. Location is beautiful, good and quiet (except for the 5 prayer calls that start right before the sun comes up). Staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool is very nice and you can order food and non-alcoholic drinks. Buffet breakfast was good, plus they have a menu to choose from (they do delicious scrambled eggs). The room was nice and clean. Clean room, very friendly, good customer service, great nature view at the restaurant and free breakfast was great quality. Only downside was the loud Muslim prayer time down the street that took away from the feeling of being secluded in nature. But the rooms are pretty sound proof and I would still highly recommend the resort. Pool was really nice too. We were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful hotel, all staff are so lovely and helpful. Peaceful location but also easy access to main centre, bar, shops etc. this is an amazing hotel and our stay here was very memorable. Just one point that we didn’t realise until we got to the hotel, there is no alcohol sold at the property, but they don’t mind you bringing alcohol into the hotel if you want some with your meal etc.

This place is an absolute gem! Its perfect walking distance to the beach and main strip, but tucked away from the commotion of it all. The staff is extremely welcoming, and there's so many nice little touches everywhere. The grounds are stunningly beautiful. This is easily one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. My only regret is not staying longer!

Hermoso resort, todo muy bien cuidado con excelente personal, lo unico desfaborable es que el transporte es solo 9am y 5pm nada mas, pero de lo demas esta perfecto, el desayuno variado y bueno. definitivamente me hospedo nuevamente.

The Ban Sainai was like staying on a tropical island. It is very spread out, but the staff were always ready to drive you from your room to the pool or reception area. The breakfasts were very good as were the meals at the pool. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and we spent plenty of time there. The resort has a regular shuttle schedule to take you to the beach. This was an awesome experience to stay at the Ban Sainai.

Be aware: this is a MUSLIM, dry hotel. Five times a day you will hear the loud-speakers from the mosque nearby with chanting songs/ prayer call. Location is beautiful, good and quiet (except for the 5 prayer calls that start right before the sun comes up). Staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool is very nice and you can order food and non-alcoholic drinks. Buffet breakfast was good, plus they have a menu to choose from (they do delicious scrambled eggs). The room was nice and clean. A few improvements needed in the room: the decorative mosquito net over the bed gets annoyingly tugged by the pillow. The lighting in the bathroom sucks. The grounds are beautiful; just know that they have large, Asian Water Monitor lizards. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Very nice small hotel, which is perfect located - we enjoyed our stay,very nice pool villa - the interiour was beautiful and modern , the pool area so Nice, the Breakfast really delicate and so well made, Would highly recomend to go there :)

Clean room, very friendly, good customer service, great nature view at the restaurant and free breakfast was great quality. Only downside was the loud Muslim prayer time down the street that took away from the feeling of being secluded in nature. But the rooms are pretty sound proof and I would still highly recommend the resort. Pool was really nice too. We were very happy with our stay.

Ao Nang is great to visit but not so relaxing if you can't escape to somewhere like this! Felt like 2 stays in 1 with contrast of the lively streets and beach and returning to this mini oasis with wonderful wildlife, great room space and shared pool. Fabulous family adjoining room with massive indoor and outdoor space, probably the best of 5 hotel stays of similar budget, although this was most expensive. Would stay here again and recommend to others, but service is not as refined as other reviews suggest. Front desk great, but it takes more than friendly gardeners for rest of resort to work well and we found breakfast to be worse than other hotels, not so much quality as things not being replenished, hot food orders were muddled all 3 days, and not quite the variety of other places we've stayed (Outrigger Khao Lak tough benchmark!). Coffee in room is great but then wasn't replenished after first day, and no English breakfast in rooms even though it ran out every morning at breakfast! (And again, had to ask for it to be restocked. Staff on phone, just not alert to what needed doing.) 3 nights here felt like the optimum for us on a 2 week trip. Think would get bored much longer and there's much better places to relax on a beach like koh lanta or Lak. There aren't many good hotels in the area and this one worked for us. 80bht taxi or 20mins walk to beach, 5-10mins to restaurants and massage before you get to main strip around the corner. All very simple.

Beautiful hotel, all staff are so lovely and helpful. Peaceful location but also easy access to main centre, bar, shops etc. this is an amazing hotel and our stay here was very memorable. Just one point that we didn’t realise until we got to the hotel, there is no alcohol sold at the property, but they don’t mind you bringing alcohol into the hotel if you want some with your meal etc.

We loved this place!!I wish we would have stayed here instead of splitting it with another hotel we stayed at near by.The staff are nice and always smiling,the pool view is jaw dropping,breakfast was always good,our room was very nice,spacious and the tub made wifey happy!!The flower tea were given at check in was so good we stocked up to bring home.Tucked away a little further from the main strip about a 10min walk but,accessible to everything from there.Highly recommend this place you wont be disappointed.

There is a free shuttle a couple of times a day to and from the beach. The staff and very lovely and will help you out. The only downside is it's a little bit away from most things but this keeps it quiet and very situated right at the edge of the forest. There are a few squirrels around too!
