There was black mold in the shower. I reported it the next morning and they did nothing about it the next day. I told them about again when I departed and all they offered was an apology. I wouldn't stay here again because of it.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Hotel is close to central station and all major sites are a short walking distance away.

Very nice 4 nights stay in Riga. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and a mall with a Rimi supermarket. The old town is less that 10 minutes away on foot. The bus (number 22) to and from the airport is also less than 10 minutes away. The room was very nice, comfy and clean as was the bathroom. Thank you for having large bottles of soap, shampoo and conditionner instead of those mini bottles which generate so much plastic waste. No recycling bin in the room but one just at the entrance of the hotel. There is a stocked mini bar that is not really necessary. We took out a few bottles to stock our own drinks and yogurts in. The TV selection could be considered poor for English speakers only. Eurosport was included (in English) and allowed us to watch the snooker world championship. ;) As for the service. It depends. Front desk was okay when you talked to them but they never acknowledged you as you went by. The breakfast staff (breakfast was great by the way) clearly needs to be trained. The supervisor unfortunately did not lead by example. A smile is always free and appreciated...

Hyfsat läge så räkna med att gå en del för att komma till gamla stan, dåligt städat rum då det va hår från andra personer kvar, slitet badrum och dusch.. men mest irriterande va det fanns inte en droppe tvål i behållarna på rummet så städ hade inte ens kollat att dom va tomma vilket inte va kul när man skulle dusch efter midnatt

Good location. Walkable distance from station. Lots of dining option. All tourist places within walking distance. Next to a big shopping centre. Hotel is good with nice breakfast spread. Rooms are spacious. I think bathtub shower is not made properly. Glass partition is not enough to stop water from flowing into the bathroom. May be the partition needs to be extended. Alternatively a shower curtain can be provided

Posizione buona, a circa 15 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Camera confortevole all'ultimo piano, letto ottimo. Un pò piccolo ed essenziale il bagno: non c'era il bidet e non c'erano nè bicchieri nè fazzolettini. Colazione buona, con alcuni prodotti locali. Non c'era il caffè decaffeinato, forse sconosciuto nei paesi baltici. Ho chiesto ma le inservienti non parlano inglese e non capiscono cosa sia questo oggetto misterioso

staff from front desk deserve for coaching . I would like to see improvement. Hard communications . they know better. It wasn’t my first time in Mercury hotel but for now the last one. Also weird that hotel is taking 50 euro deposit as they call this just in case if you will break glass 😂 I’m traveling a lot monthly probably visiting from 3-5 hotels and Iexperienced something like this for the first time. No one charged for broken glass

The hotel was situated in a great place, easy to walk places. Very clean. Complained about the curtains not being able to close, electricity in room not working and cleaner walking in room without knocking. Staff member on desk was unhelpful and blamed us for the mistakes. Staff members not approachable.

Very nice 4 nights stay in Riga. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and a mall with a Rimi supermarket. The old town is less that 10 minutes away on foot. The bus (number 22) to and from the airport is also less than 10 minutes away. The room was very nice, comfy and clean as was the bathroom. Thank you for having large bottles of soap, shampoo and conditionner instead of those mini bottles which generate so much plastic waste. No recycling bin in the room but one just at the entrance of the hotel. There is a stocked mini bar that is not really necessary. We took out a few bottles to stock our own drinks and yogurts in. The TV selection could be considered poor for English speakers only. Eurosport was included (in English) and allowed us to watch the snooker world championship. ;) As for the service. It depends. Front desk was okay when you talked to them but they never acknowledged you as you went by. The breakfast staff (breakfast was great by the way) clearly needs to be trained. The supervisor unfortunately did not lead by example. A smile is always free and appreciated...

The hotel is near the Origo shopping center. Few steps to train station and easy to get oldtown. Reception team very kind. Breakfast well served and varied. We would choose this hotel again

Good location. Walkable distance from station. Lots of dining option. All tourist places within walking distance. Next to a big shopping centre. Hotel is good with nice breakfast spread. Rooms are spacious. I think bathtub shower is not made properly. Glass partition is not enough to stop water from flowing into the bathroom. May be the partition needs to be extended. Alternatively a shower curtain can be provided

Posizione buona, a circa 15 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Camera confortevole all'ultimo piano, letto ottimo. Un pò piccolo ed essenziale il bagno: non c'era il bidet e non c'erano nè bicchieri nè fazzolettini. Colazione buona, con alcuni prodotti locali. Non c'era il caffè decaffeinato, forse sconosciuto nei paesi baltici. Ho chiesto ma le inservienti non parlano inglese e non capiscono cosa sia questo oggetto misterioso

We had a good stay here while visiting Riga. The hotel is good value for money and is located in a good area, a few minutes away from the old city. It also offers a nice breakfast

Room ok. Breakfast awful. Overcrowded, dirty. Had to clean own table. Staff overwhelmed. 2nd day worse. Trash everywhere. Dirty dishes. Had breakfast outside. Spa with holes in floor. Freezing jacuzzi. No pool. Cold sauna. Teens showering fully dressed. Very badly managed.

Very helpful member of desk staff on my arrival. Room upgrade provided which was great. Good sized room, fridge and kettle and good-sized bathroom. Plenty of space and facilities in the room. Breakfast - a wide-ranging choice of hot and cold food to meet every taste although accessing food could be challenging as the main dining room walkway was where food tables were located and touring parties were present! Days 2 & 3 found the table seating changed - from smaller, individual tables to large circular ones, presumably for the touring parties. Not ideal for the lone traveller. The only other negative aspect was one had to be careful leaving ones seat to collect food as over-zealous staff would take items away that were not finished with: Including food and drinks, simply because one was not seated as they hurried round to clear spaces. The hotel is ideally suited for walking to the train and bus stations and for sight-seeing.

The location was great, close to the train & bus station with a mall next door to the hotel. Old town is a 10 minute walk so it was a nice a location. However, the bathroom was disgusting due to mold and rust. Since it’s a green hotel, it wouldn’t hurt if the hotel spend some time cleaning the tiles with some sodium bicarbonate, lemon and vinegar.
