The door was very hard to open and shut. Was supposed to be an accessible room but a handicapped person would not be able use the door. There was a $100 required deposit that was not on the reservation anywhere. In addition I was charged another night the morning of my reservation. When I called the person stated it was to see if the card worked and I need to wait 4-7 business days for it to be credited back to my account. This was not disclosed anywhere on the website or reservation. Pool was nice.

First off I arrived to check in and the lady at the desk was very hard to understand, she couldn't hardly speak english. I had a boat to be plugged in to charge the batteries and the breaker kept going off. They were 18 boats that was trying to charge with the same problem, the desk lady told us we could go around and park behind the building in the dark and try charging back there. No one ever came out and tried to fix the problem. Then I go into my room and when I lay down on the bed the head board falls off the wall and hits me in the head and face. I take pictures of this and go down to the office and tell her and her comment is OK I will let the manager know. The water in the sink and the shower was hot only and I mean HOT, when taking a shower you had to take and just throw water on you it was so hot. I did get to talk to another lady the next morning and she said she was sorry and they would take care of the head board, when I got back to my room that afternoon it was sitting again the wall. WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!

worst hotel ever!!! exposed electrical wire in bathroom. other guest checking you out as you go to your room. back balcony had spider webs all over the place couldn't even us it. blinds would not close correctly all the way so we had a light shinning in our room all night long. when we turned on the shower we had brown water coming out at first.

The best i could say is it smelled clean and nice view. Soft spots thruout the floor, couch was stained. things held together with paint. Their idea of a renovation is new paint. Breakfast was not good.

Booked room online. When we got to the hotel i was tlold it was on the second floor. Husband is on oxygen, so we had to slowly drag a suitcase as well as an oxygen tank up two flights of stairs. We should have found somewhere else to go, but the reservation was non cancellable. By the time he made it up two flights of stairs he was completely exhausted. Just make sure if you book a room at this hotel that you understand that it does not have an elevator, so if you are handicapped in any way that you ask for a handicapped room upfront.

OLD BUILDING. 1 of very few motels to stay in Clarksville. The motel itself is dated. It was originally built in the late 50's-early 60's.and has had only small cosmetic facelifts. 2 stories, with NO elevator, only STEEP stairs. You can see the rust on the iron beams that are the support skeleton of the building. The beds are not comfortable. The sofa bed in the room was old & filthy! The price you pay for this place is because you are looking at the lake.

Price was great and location was just as nice I enjoyed stay other than shower did not work, I had to take a bath because I did not have time to alert management but they will know when they come to clean room. Loved the pool area and its view of the lake.

They were in the middle of renovation & banging to early, could not rest. And the Continental breakfast was terrible nothing on the counter, no fruit. The construction workers were eating. When I asked if there was any more eggs the front desk associate got an attitude.

The photos on the website no longer match the conditions the property is in, the floors were so dirty, I had to keep my shoes on the whole time I was there, I didn’t want to touch anything. The price I paid for the night was definitely not equivalent to the service or accommodation. I will not be returning.

I have stayed here with my family every year for 5-6 years but this will be the last time. It was filthy. The first room they gave us has dirt sheets covered in pubic and pet hair. Fresh stains on the bedding. I don’t even want to guess what it was. Second room not much better. Dirt in the beds, dead bug in one. 3rd room actually had clean sheets. But bedding was stained. Toilet had dried feces on the ring. I took a white washcloth and wiped counters off and it was completely brown. We didn’t have anywhere else to go so I went out to the store and bought gloves and disinfectant and cleaned the room. I have never stayed somewhere so nasty. Attracts a terrible crowd also. Sketchy people. People beside us fought all day and night. I wanted to get in the pool but it had green slime on the walls/ just do yourself a favor a stay elsewhere. If you do stay make sure all your vaccines are up to date and bring your own cleaning supplies.

The room was in terrible shape. A lot of paint issues and dirt on the doors. The patio was sticky and covered with something. Towels and comforters were stained and didn’t looked like they were cleaned properly. We paid extra for a lake view but we got the view of the trash cans. It was extremely disappointing. The only thing this location has it going for it….. is the walkability and location. The front staff were friendly and helpful. But the property and cleanliness was extremely poor

For the good items, the bed was comfortable. On the flip side, we got the worst room in the motel, in spite of the fact that I booked it several months ago and checked in reasonably early. We were stuck off from the other rooms at the end of a hall. I asked for a room on the second floor and was told there were none, despite the fact that their web site said there were some available. The deadbolt was broken, there were not enough linens, there was no cold water from the faucet. Most of the rooms Ins had a view of the lake with a balcony and chairs and table to sit. Also, they had a large picture window in the room. I had none of that. The window looked out on a half finished construction project, the HVAC unit and pipes that were never cleaned up. The room was the smallest hotel room I had ever seen. The bathroom was dirty and the floors looked and felt like they had never been mopped.

The bathroom are old and shower doors had soap scam on them. Didn’t use. Walked on floors in bedroom and had dirt on them. Beds look good and clean. Breakfast the biscuits very hard. Over all it was average ratings. Very thing Needs to be updated!!

Room was clean. Staff were nice. Hotel renovations were done maybe 3-4 years ago and was much better than when we were there 10+ years ago. Lake and bridge views were beautiful. My only complaint is the bugs that come to both door light and balcony. The lights are a bright white and needs to be changed. Hard to enjoy a balcony while fighting the bugs. Neither lights have an on/off switch either. This needs addressed for sure. Overall it was a nice stay.

Missing floor pieces, paint drops all over floor, ac could not keep room cold. Water stain ceiling, door has a 1/2 inch crack. Not worth the price they are charging.

My stay was great, no thanks to hotels.com. Upon arrival I was told that I didn’t have a reservation. The young lady at the desk was extremely helpful but hotels.com failed to send my reservation to the hotel and caused me to stand in the lobby on the phone for almost an hour. The service line is absolutely terrible because it start automated, where I had to verify my identity, then 15 minutes later I was finally transferred to an operator where I had to verify my identity again. Then I spent the better part of 30 minutes trying to explain the issue and the operator not understanding. After this I was placed on hold only to be transferred to another operator who then placed me on hold for another 20 minutes while they tried to fix their own mistake. Finally after almost an hour it go fixed. The front desk receptionist was great and even upgraded me because of all the trouble.

We were disappointed that when we got there the room we were upgraded to had not been cleaned. It was 8:00 at night! Then we were switched to a first floor room, not nearly as nice. Our card was double charged.

The door to the balcony would not open. The lady at the desk even tried. She said she didn’t have another room to move us to even though there were only 5 cars in the parking lot. She was not willing to give a discount on the room.

There was a storm and trees down on the power lines and yes I know that was not the hotels fault but the power was out and no time line of when it was to come back on and I wanted a refund for the one night and they stated they couldn’t do that but I was 4 hours away from my home and the place was staying had no power for me to shower or do my work since I was there on business and I just felt like it was not good business and I was just un happy about the fact they didn’t seem to care I was stranded with only the option to leave and drive back home or stay some where there was no electricity.

The woman at the front desk at check In was great the young man at the desk the next morning was rude and was wearing earbuds playing music. The place is very run down and dirty. The website claims it was completely redone in 2024 but that is obviously a lie. Do yourself a favor and stay at the bed n breakfast down the street.

Really liked room, location, evening staff. When we came back after fishing (had already checked out) and parked truck/boat in holtel parking lot (which adjoins restaurant that is next door and does not have boat parking), we were asked, somewhat rudely, to remove our vehicle from their parking lot, as we were no longer staying there. There was no posting that said we could not park there long enough to have dinner.
