It was OK. Big kingroom. The bed was on a metal platform and it's squeaked every time you touch the bed. In our room and throughout the property was the most garish flower displays I've ever seen. They were faded and weathered, and quite honestly, looked like casket spreads. We did notice there was a funeral home within walking distance. They may be affiliated with it. There was massive cobwebs with ancient dead bugs in the corners of our room. But at least he didn't charge us a deposit checking in. Check in was quick, easy and friendly enough. I also do not appreciate that.There was no elevator and I did not know that until we got there.

The hotel is ok… we had issues getting in our room. It’s like the handle was put on upside down. You had to lift the handle up instead of pushing it down to enter. Also when leaving the room the dead bolt was always out which then you had to go back inside the room and mess with the lock a bit before you could get it to go back in and you could close the door. The bigger problem was there is no elevator, I was unaware, we were on the second floor. I have an ankle injury, the stairs were an issue for me. They didn’t have any rooms downstairs. The staff was nice😊 it was ok for one night.

It was just okay. The hotel is quite dated. Carpet looks stained in hallways and the light switch in our room was missing one of the switches. It was just a hole that seems dangerous. There was a black rag that I think was there for ladies to remove make up but I’m not washing my face with a rag that I cannot see if it’s clean or not. There was also an odd smell in the hallway and lobby. It was like one you find in a dollar store. Beautiful view of the lake and a VERY small pool However, the ad said they offered continental breakfast but they had waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, on top of cereals ,yogurts, and muffins with a variety of juices That was a nice surprise.

We arrived real early in the morning. There are only 2 levels, but no elevator. After sharing that we physically couldn't walk up and down all those stairs (with luggage in tow), we were given a room on the first level at the same price. The front desk staff who checked us in did not subtract our room deposit and we were charged the full price. I'm waiting for the deposit to be refunded back to my account. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was a plus, when we actually got there before 9. The on site staff was good, but was limited in what they could actually do to assist with pricing adjustments. The view was awesome.

Absolutely worst stay I’ve had anywhere in a while. Nasty room with huge water leak. Couldn’t enjoy the balcony over looking the river because of all the spider webs and spiders. Blood on pillowcase & comforter. Dirty floors, dirt in the bed, sour smell walking in. Staff did what they could but still absolute horrible stay.

Room looked nice and had a great view of the lake but our patio was filthy. The chairs had spider and slide webs on them, i had to clean them myself. The door to the patio had mold on it. I had my grand daughter with me and I going to make her a bottle, I went to put water in the coffee maker and it had mold in it. The code maker probably hadn’t been cleaned in months. Also, we had spider webs in the ceiling of our room. I guess they just surface clean and that’s it. I’m waiting to hear from the manager. I give it ⭐️⭐️ and only because Andy at the front desk was VERY PLEASANT

Our first stay here was fine. Our most recent stay was very disappointing. Bathroom tub was dirty, there was used soap & shampoo left from previous guest along with a makeup cloth on the sink. The wĥite comforter had a quarter sized blood stain and the comforter was just flipped over so it wasnt apparent upon first glance. We discovered the stain when we pulled the covers back to get into bed. The hallway carpet was not vacuumed, there was visible dirt, bottle caps, pieces of tissue and mud. The free breakfast was not very appetizing, eggs, sausage and potatoes were all cold. We were very disappointed.

What a strange place. Felt kind of shabby and unloved. Front desk unattended on several occasions. Staff slow and sometimes unhelpful. Hallway carpets scuffy. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was very good either. On the plus side, king balcony was large and had a nice lake view. Bed very comfortable and sheets were nice. I guess this is all you can hope for in such a small town?

Disgusting and unacceptable. I arrived late on August 15th after a long travel day, planning to stay two nights. The first room I was given had hairs in the bed and stains on the sheets. The front desk staff walked me to several other rooms — all were just as dirty. Nothing was clean or remotely acceptable. I ended up sleeping in my car and never used a room, the hotel has done nothing to make this right. As a frequent business traveler, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs.

I spilled a bit of water on the floor, wiped it up only to find the floor was filthy!! Toilet seat about to fall off and tub drain didn't drain well. Makes one really wonder if the room is being cleaned!

In town for a fishing tournament. Hotel was conveniently located, our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, spacious room. Some dirty areas in room (floors between bed and nightstand) but nothing worth fretting over. Hotel can’t control but someone was smoking the wacky tobacky and the halls were terrible. Would definitely stay again.

This property was great. Great location and happy they had vacancies. That being said, when I first called to see about what was available I spoke to a wonderful woman. She was knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. I called an hour later to book my reservation and the gentleman that had relieved this woman for the night was awful. Told me to slow down. Asked me to call back in 5 minutes. Rude beyond anything that I have experienced. I asked to speak to the woman and he said I am all you got. I hung up the phone and then reserved my reservation on Expedia.

We had to wait 30 minutes to check in. The room was quite dirty in most areas, especially the shower. Additionally, the hotel itself was visibly dirty inside. Upon checking out, we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for someone to return to the desk. I highly recommend staying elsewhere.

The room we stayed in was clean, however there was a light fixture with exposed wiring in the bathroom, the door to the room would not open properly (the locking mechanism kept sticking, so it took us over 10 attempts each time we tried to enter the room), when I tried to check in, it took over 15 minutes for the attendant to show up (and only after I finally called from the lobby), and the breakfast was disappointing (lukewarm coffee, stale pastries, not much else). I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but the entire experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We will not return.

The staff was extremely polite and accomodating. My mother is elderly and they took extra special care of her. They replenished the towels and wash cloths daily. Everyone was extremely nice! Great stay!!!

Property was OK. They did not have a crib or a bed for my toddler. Breakfast was offered but mediocre. Check-in took longer than it should have. You can tell they’ve done some renovations, but a lot is still needed. The hotel is convenient and right on the water. We did not find the beds or the pillow is comfortable at all, my children slept on the pullout couch and that was awful as well. We had to go to the front multiple times for towels, soap, and blankets and sheets. Overall, it was just average nothing extraordinary, but nothing awful either.

Very newly remodeled. Lovely lake views if you get a lake view room. The only downside was they require a $100 deposit and if you put it on a debit or credit card, it takes up to 14 days to get it back. This was not previously disclosed and was not expected at all. It has been a 9 days and I have not gotten my deposit yet.

Property was fairly basic but worked ok for our stay. Would have given it more stars but I was kind of put off by the manager (or another worker?) bothering the heck out of the poor guy checking us in. He was trying his best to give us his attention but every time I would ask a question guy number 2 would pop around the corner and need something right that second so it was hard to even get through the check in process. The location was amazing for walking into town and the restaurant right across the street was absolutely fantastic.

Excellent views of the Lake! Nice location. Beautiful flowers in the vases outside of the hotel that added a special touch. Staff went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable, Safe and Relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast items ran short both mornings (waffles first morning and coffee second morning). Outside entry doors were capable of being locked for occupant card entry only - but the outside doors were never locked even after 11pm at night. Over-priced for what you get.

At check in, they charged me $100.00 deposit. They had a sign at the front desk. Said it would be returned in 5-7 days after they checked my room. There was no mention of this when I booked my room. I never got a receipt at check in, never got a receipt when I checked out they said I would get an email, still haven't got a receipt. The bathroom had sewer gas smell for several hours. The phone in the room wasn't connected, no cords just a dead phone on the table. Breakfast bar had no eggs, no meat. Just breads and cereal, coffee

The hotel was nice but a little dated. Rooms were a good size. Breakfast buffet was clean with a nice variety of choices. Walking distance to some excellent restaurants and McDonald's as well as the main street in town. Over all it was a very nice experience.
