Kenley Hotel

Have been going to this guest house for years sadly it has been sold on and the standards have highly dropped, on entrance there was an awful damp smell, we were told to go into front reception area to get room key ,and that is in need of decoration there was a grey carpet awful dirty full of stains and also there is a patch of different carpet been cut and another bit fixed in which did not even match, then going upstairs to our room the walls were well dirty , then our room, it was ok till we went into toilet the shower head was hanging off but my husband managed to fix that back on, it definetly needed cleaned there was hair strands in shower dirt round the sides, shower door also dirty,mould round the shower tray and walls and also tiles I do have pictures of the shower if required, there was no communication with owners apart from when we checked in they weren’t even around for checking out we had to put our key in a box and there was no one around to ask us how our stay was or if there was any issues,also the place when going upstairs was stinking of cannabis so would definitely not go back to this hotel as I said have been going there for around 12/14 years and it’s definitely not a 4star guest house anymore

We stayed in room 3. The floor was on a slope, so the bed was too. The bathroom door doesn't close, the shower tray fills but not empty very quickly so you have to turn it on and off to stop flooding of the floor. Towels weren't clean. We paid £10 for parking in a different road. The spare bed was behind the door so we would have struggled to get out in an emergency. Upstairs drains and sewage pump was cutting in and out through the night. Overall, we would not stay again. Im also not sure what amenities are being rated over an 8? There were none?

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable — we felt at home straight away. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the owner was very attentive and welcomin. The only difficulty for us was that food isn’t permitted in the rooms, which unfortunately wasn’t stated on the booking site when we made our reservation. As our son has special dietary requirements, this made things a little challenging for us. For that reason, we wouldn’t be able to return unless the policy were ever to change — and if it did, we would absolutely book again without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Third time staying at the Kenley Hotel. Stayed in three different rooms now, and all very spacious, very comfortable king size beds,and rooms beautiful and clean with all the facility's you need in your room. This hotel offers amazing accommaat at a fantastic price
