Likes going barefoot all the time. Loved the bar & waitress staff and the beach staff. No type of shop for miscellaneous items. Had to walk to grocery store about 20 minutes.

This place was awesome, fresh towels & hot water everyday, clean comfortable spacious rooms already equipped with a fridge! My housekeeper Porsha was the best!! The food was tasty, everything was made to order so there was a little wait, but who cares when you are getting fresh hot food! The beach attendant was most helpful in setting up beach chairs & umbrellas. All staff were polite & friendly, & deserving of every penny of the tips they earn! I will definitely return to Rondel!!!

The trip was great. We had 4 jids and us, so the room was perfect. Some littl things that could really help. Pans you can cook on that are good and coffee in the rooms. So cheap of a fix and would have changed a ton. Our security guy Deron was super. Dude is great. The beach area is cleannand water was awesome, but its a small area just for you and the other guests. 20 people makes it crowded.

Upon arrival, the internet on the opposite of the road was not working at all. I called the front desk & the young lady immediately transferred me to the beach side to another room in which I appreciated. The running water (sink & shower) in the room was not working but I didn’t complain. By morning, the water was up & running. I stayed at this hotel about 20yrs ago & this is my 1st time returning back. I got to enjoy the pool & jacuzzi. I was pleased with the upgrades & professionalism of the staff.

You only gave 80 to 100 feet of beach and that isnt much. The rooms are great, the food at restaurant is good but slow and they need better pans in family rooms and coffee. The pans were terrible. This is a good place, but every time we went on beach we were approached for excursions or illegal stuff. It got old fast. Place is great, but last time ill ever go to negril. Every person is hustling tips outside of rondel. 10 percent service and 10 percent tax before tip. One lady tried charging us 16.5 percent to book an excursion. No thanks....

We loved our stay at Rondel Village! It is located right in the middle of Seven Mile beach and near everything you need. Rondel is a small resort which allows you to get to know the people who work there as well as the other guests. We quickly felt like family after arriving. They have live music once a week, there is live music next door three times a week, and live music within walking distance every night of the week. The beach is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the pools and hot tubs are fabulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, we love that this is a Jamaican owned resort, and we most definitely plan to return as soon as we can.

We appreciated the lovely staff, amenities, bar, and restaurant. The office, maintenance, cleaning, security, bar, beach, and restaurant staff were all so helpful, friendly, and kind. We were in the back part of the property, thankful to snag one of the last rooms for the four days we were there, and it was great. We enjoyed the relaxing pool and jacuzzi, rich foliage, and beach access. The paddle board was a bonus as it was my first time doing it and with the calm water, it was perfect. Names that come to mind, Delroy, Damien, Daron, Doverlin, and John Wallace(our airport ride),

The hotel was amazing , right on the beach and if you stay across the street there is a pool and jacuzzi on that side of the property. The property is safe, the bar and restaurant were amazing. The rooms were nice , bed was comfy and TV had all the shows that I needed to watch. The front desk receptionist were amazing and helpful, especially Natinsia (don’t know how to spell her name) she is the best. I will be back very soon , actually next month.

Pros: Right on beach, just a walk down the path, with provided chairs and umbrellas. Happy hour on select days - try the rum punch. Very nice bartender. Breakfast was good, try the local salt fish. Balcony in room was nice, and mini fridge provided. Pool and hot tub was nice and not crowded, but looked like it could use a cleaning. Friendly cleaning staff. Cons: No coffee in rooms. Rooms were in need of modern upgrades. Bed wasn’t super comfortable. Not very accommodating. Slow service at restaurant. Ordered chips with salsa guac and cheese, and only got about 7 chips with salsa. Could not check out until the cleaning staff “reviewed” our room to get our $200 deposit back. Would give this stay 3.5/5.

Even though we were in an older room we very much appreciated the cleanliness of the room. We had a garden view which included a close view of other balconies and we felt it was relaxing and had a feeling of being away from the busy area of Negril. The floral and trees were very nicely arranged. The water side of the Rondel Village had easy access to the beach and dining area. The location to other places on the seven mile beach was just right. Both my wife and I felt the friendliness of the staff was actually the main reason we will be back.

The hotel was very close to the main event spots for the Dream weekend and few steps to the Jungle Club. The restaurant meals were top of the line, super delicious. House keepers did an awesome job cleaning and towel decorations were delightfully arranged with flowers. I am highly recommending this location that sits on the beachfront.

I was given a room on the 3rd floor, floor was wet the first day. Moist floor. Had to move after complaint. I upgraded to move to the beachside on arrival, an increase of $23 more per night. I was given their worse. Had to change rooms the next day. Very meager accommodations.

Our family had an amazing time at Rondel, Delroy is an incredible bartender making us feel very welcome ! John and all staff made us feel at home. We will only come to Rondel Village when we come back to Jamaica. Highly recommend !

We appreciated the lovely staff, amenities, bar, and restaurant. The office, maintenance, cleaning, security, bar, beach, and restaurant staff were all so helpful, friendly, and kind. We were in the back part of the property, thankful to snag one of the last rooms for the four days we were there, and it was great. We enjoyed the relaxing pool and jacuzzi, rich foliage, and beach access. The paddle board was a bonus as it was my first time doing it and with the calm water, it was perfect. Pros: Right on beach, just a walk down the path, with provided chairs and umbrellas. Happy hour on select days - try the rum punch. Very nice bartender. Breakfast was good, try the local salt fish. Balcony in room was nice, and mini fridge provided. Pool and hot tub was nice and not crowded, but looked like it could use a cleaning. Friendly cleaning staff. Cons: No coffee in rooms. Rooms were in need of modern upgrades. Bed wasn’t super comfortable. Not very accommodating. Slow service at restaurant. Ordered chips with salsa guac and cheese, and only got about 7 chips with salsa. Could not check out until the cleaning staff “reviewed” our room to get our $200 deposit back. Would give this stay 3.5/5.

I like this spot, very quiet and they have 2 properties. It’s best to get the property with the villas that is on the beach. The place was well manicured and the staff was great. My only complaint is I didn’t have a Microwave in the room I stayed but the staff in the restaurant allow me to use theirs.

Travelled to Negril for a day trip and ended up staying the night. Rondel village was our pick after review of available facilities. The property was clean, staff friendly and attentive. We stayed at the property across the street from the beach but went over to enjoy the beach front in the morning. We didn't try the breakfast/restaurant there as other reviewers mentioned that it is expensive. We found surrounding local places to dine as we were mobile. Walkable restaurants around. This place will be at the top of my list for a family gathering at the end of this year.

The hotel was very close to the main event spots for the Dream weekend and few steps to the Jungle Club. The restaurant meals were top of the line, super delicious. House keepers did an awesome job cleaning and towel decorations were delightfully arranged with flowers. I am highly recommending this location that sits on the beachfront.

We have stayed here before and we chose to return because we like the location and the friendliness of staff. The grounds are filled with garden in between buildings. Building and rooms could use some updating but we were comfortable. Location and layout of restaurant and proximity to beach access is what we feel sets the location apart from many.

We loved our stay at Rondel Village! It is located right in the middle of Seven Mile beach and near everything you need. Rondel is a small resort which allows you to get to know the people who work there as well as the other guests. We quickly felt like family after arriving. They have live music once a week, there is live music next door three times a week, and live music within walking distance every night of the week. The beach is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the pools and hot tubs are fabulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, we love that this is a Jamaican owned resort, and we most definitely plan to return as soon as we can.

You only gave 80 to 100 feet of beach and that isnt much. The rooms are great, the food at restaurant is good but slow and they need better pans in family rooms and coffee. The pans were terrible. This is a good place, but every time we went on beach we were approached for excursions or illegal stuff. It got old fast. Place is great, but last time ill ever go to negril. Every person is hustling tips outside of rondel. 10 percent service and 10 percent tax before tip. One lady tried charging us 16.5 percent to book an excursion. No thanks....

Well for one the staff was lovely the lady at the front desk mss ketrice and the lady at the dining area the little dark slime one never get her name. But it was perfect being there. I wish it was not that expensive tho🙂 but am coming back i would recommend anyone to stay there it worth it.

This was our third stay at Rondel Village and we still consider it to be one of the best spots on Seven Mile Beach. The location is excellent and the grounds are well kept. Our housekeeper made beautiful flower arrangements with bath towels, adding a touch of class. All of the staff members were professional. However, some maintenance issues were annoying. For example, whoever painted our bathroom did not bother to stay within the lines. The door trim was rotted at the bottom. The shower door was difficult to open. One needed two hands to open the room to our door. We enjoyed meals at the restaurant but the quality was inconsistent. The servers were excellent though. Jamaica has no shortage of nice people.

Rondel was a great choice for us. It’s not glitzy, but had everything we needed. It’s close to a grocery store and there are tons of restaurants nearby while walking 7 mile beach. The on site restaurant was really good. Employees who stood out were the bartender, DelRoy, lifeguard Duran and housekeepers Melissa and Donna. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. Great beach!
