Affordable. Clean place but the smell of smoke & pot lingers in the air. I wasnt a fan of the front doors being locked from 9:00pm-9:00am with having to call a phone number & explain who you are just to get in. The breakfast was decent.

Clean inn with a functional kitchenette in the room. It’s minimalist, but it works. The staff was genuinely nice and access and location easy. The main con : breakfast setup have the strange ability to be pretty empty and messy at the same time. Breads are stacked in hard to open plastic boxes, fruits aren’t ripe enough to be eaten and the pancake machine is a mysterious objet that none of the custom saw were able to use. All in all, a decent option downtown Gort Mac.

Friendly and accommodating staffs. Clean room equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, kitchen sink, exhaust fan/range hood, plates, mugs, cutleries, drying rack and more. Happily surprised that options for the breakfast that's included were pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, bread slices, bagels, muffins, yogurt, etc. Will be happy to stay here again next time we visit Fort McMurray again.

During my entire stay there were black hard shell bugs crawling up the shower drain and all the sinks, I kept washing them back down the drains but they came back everyday.

Our stay was very pleasant and the staff were great. The facility was well kept and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty with a good variety for a continental breakfast. Loved the convenient location with good restaurants, gift shops and major stores very close by. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks to all the staff.

The room itself was ok. When we went to shower the towels were so worn they literally had holes in then and were paper thin. We went out for the evening, returned around midnight and the handicapped stall was occupied...not really a problem since there are more than one disabled people in the world however...it was discovered that the front desk attendant was the one parked there. Totally unacceptable and ignorant. I will never stay here or at another related hotel if this is acceptable to the ownership. Had a fantastic trip (even though it was in Fort McMurray) side from the accommodations.

I chose this Hotel cause it had good rating! But the smell inside the room it terrible! Even with the window open all day the smell is there to stay! Couldn't sleep because of it! This hotel needs BIG renovation! I am going to the hotel to have a good night sleep, not to aerate and use perfumes to eliminate odors! Not even 1 star! Can I get my money back?

Hotel is older and lacking in many amenities you might expect in a hotel today such as a pool, hot tub or exercise room, but the property is clean and the staff is friendly. A great rate compared to almost all other hotels in the city during the time I was there.

The newly renovated rooms are very nice and comfortable. The hotel and rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and it was very quiet while we were there. Downtown location is great, close to lots of shopping and food options. Starbucks is just half a block away! Breakfast was just okay. The pancake maker is great! The juice and coffee machines weren't working, which was disappointing, however they did have a small Keurig machine available. I would have liked to see a decaf coffee option, but I didn't ask for one so I'm not sure if they have one. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Fantastic venue. Not providing five stars as walls and doors are very thin so you can hear people talking. Thankfully - it’s low season so minimal people were staying here. Great staff, comfy bed, big rooms!

Nothing bad to report. The latch on the screen door came apart so mentioned it to front desk and it was fixed or replaced with in the hour. Awesome response time in my opinion. The ladies at the front desk have helped us with a couple other things that I think makes them exceptional employees. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay. 👍👍

Property is pretty clean but older furniture. I guess this why the price was reasonable. Ladies at front were friendly. Breakfast was decent. They had a pancake machine, sausages and scrambled eggs. They also had fruits, yogurt, bread and muffins. Original Joe's and Mr. Mike were in walking distance about 3 mins.
