Very lovely home away from Home

The location of the apartments were excellent- central to all the places you’d like to visit in Barcelona and walking distance to the main luxury shopping area of Passeig de Gràcia. The 5 bedroom apartment was roomy and had plenty of space for our family of 7. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could need and all the TVs were in modern condition. Plenty of storage space as well. The front desk were helpful, the cleaners did their best and check in was easy. The bad- Apartment 5-1 smelled like cat urine, there was a cockroach in the hallway, AC couldn’t keep up with the Barcelona heatwave, no hot water in the kitchen and the master bathroom smelled like sewer. Aside from the pervasive smell of cat urine in the hallway, the whole apartment smelled musty and moldy with a sprinkling of mothballs- we checked out 2 days early because we couldn’t take the smells anymore (and the cockroach) and transferred to a proper hotel. Miraculously my daughter’s allergies resolved as soon as we checked out of the apartment

We stayed in the 4 bedroom penthouse. Top floor. Access to rooftop was great. Big space in the apartment. Clean. Good quality appliances. Sofas and tables etc I’m very good condition almost like new.

Excellent apartment, very clean and central. The noise from the street could be disturbing if you open the windows. Otherwise, excellent.
