Cabin was terrific, we felt very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Appreciated being able to see the outdoors from any angle. Deck was really great, spacious. Not sure how much use I would get out if it during mosquito/black fly season

This was a last minute booking as we had already arrived in the Burlington area and stayed one night in a local hotel and suites. This was the perfect spot after a day of exploring what the area had to offer and Vermont itself. It was truly a home away from home. The furnishings and accessibility to what the owners provided felt more like staying at a family members cottage than a basic rental property. Thank you for such a great retreat!Jason and Jenni

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Causeway Cottage. It was clean, bright and sunny. Beds were very comfortable. Good space for my husband and I to both work during our stay, Views of the water were nice. Short drive to Burlington with great restaurants. Would recommend.

The cottage was very conveniently located for our weekend - near the lake, but also an easy drive to Burlington and Shelburne. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The surroundings are shady, so there is some dampness (marsh nearby). The deck and outdoor grill were great to use. The causeway was very close and was a nice place to walk or bike and view birds out in the marsh. We had a little issue with getting the door code when we first arrived, but called and got it sorted (the check-in email sent a code that didn't work). We also were somewhat confused as to whether we could access the water from Marsh lane because it appears to go through someone else's yard, but I apparently didn't read close enough on the check-in email (it does list water access places). I think the kids would have enjoyed it more if they could just go splash around and check out the shore without feeling like they were on the neighbor's beach. We used a public beach down the road instead.
