WoodSpring Suites College Station

We stayed for 1 week& throughout it nothing but problems. Wi-Fi only connects to phone devices. No consoles or gaming devices. When I asked the staff they had no idea how to give access to devices nor who to call. after searching the site. I found a 800# for reservation whom were no help fixing the issue nor guiding me to anyone who could fix it. On top of this the elevator broke for 2 nights. There was dog poop&clay trailing from the lobby into the elevator when it was functioning again. The cleaning staff were spraying bleach on handles&floor. The WORST experience of this entire trip was coming back to our room at 12am to find our hotel door security latch was so loose that it stopped the door from being opened fully after accessing it with our room card. After going downstairs to find the lobby closed, I called the personal number printed near the phone for late night assistance being that the #500 number in the office kept ringing with no staff present. After calling 3 times a sleeping staff member (tabitha?) answered and came to help. Upon her arrival she discovered she didn’t know how to unlatch the door. I asked her to call her maintenance team she explained they didn’t have 1. So she called her boss (destiny) who screamed at her through speaker phone that it was late and not her problem and arguing with me. They gave us tools to open the door instead of trying themselves. @2am they gave us another room until the DM came the next morning to open our door!

It is very convenient in terms of amenities and affordability. Liked the kitchen option inside the room.

the place is nice, service is friendly, only thing is the mail hall was dirty like they havent vacum in a while, but room was clean they have stove fridge microwave everuthing you need for a good stay.

Disgusting place! As soon as I got to my room door, cockroaches on the wall. Enter the room, same! Multiple in the wall! Just gross! Elevator not working. Incredibly dirty and disgusting. This is not a hotel by any measures. Avoid at all costs! I would rather sleep in the car!

I booked my room last week and then came by here on yesterday to make sure I had a room. Today we checked in but was very unhappy with our room as compared to my last visit. There were no towels in the room, the counter top had black stuff on it, the remote control did not work, the elevator didn't work when we got here and we had to use the stairs. I went back downstairs to talk to the ladies at the front desk. I was told that they were in the middle of washing towels, what the hell? She told me she would come and check the room as well as bring some batteries for the remote. Ask me did she show, no. I will not stay here anymore. Very Very disappointed.

This property is poorly managed. My room was crawling with roaches and insects. The refrigerator in the kitchenette was full of rust spots or stains on its side that faced the stove (likely from hot grease splatter). The worse is the bugs crawling everywhere including in the bathroom. This property should be reported to the health department.

Property was dirty. Base boards and floor were dirty. Roaches we seen crawling on the floor in our room. The lobby area smelled like week and smoke for it to be a nonsmoking place. One staff member looked to be high and just came from smoking.

We went into the room, stayed long enough to take pictures of bugs and pubic hair on the bed and disgusting fridge and walked out the door. Had to book another hotel.

Everything was dirty , had Roches crawling everywhere

The hotel smelled badly, from the hallways to the rooms. The hallways were filthy with clothes, shoes, and linens thrown about. The place smelled and was very unclean. Will never stay there again and would not recommend.

The outside of the building itself looks nice, but the interior is nasty. First off, it is hard to determine the entry. The last fresh air you get will be at the check in counter. The whole interior smells of rotting trash and illegal substances. Trash litters the floor. Roaches. Sub-level cleanliness in the rooms. The mattress cover was ripped to shreds, but still used on the bed. Hair all in the bed. Noodles still in the sink.

Broken furniture through out the room. The bathroom sink didn’t drain and was broken. Very small beds. There was smashed roaches on the wall. The hall carpet had very large stains that smelled like dog urine. Very noisy from other guests , crying babies high smells of marijuana. I would not recommend and spend the extra money somewhere else.

The hotel had a weird humid smell, with the walls being dirty. As we made our way to the elevator we noticed the floor being extremely sticky. When we were getting into the elevator i saw a roach walking down the wall with an egg sack. Walking down the hallway the carpet was sticky and had an old smell. The bed was still dirty and a little stained. Shower didn't even have a shower curtain.

Room was dirty. Floor had a stain on it and hadn’t been swept. Refrigerator was rusted and and was working at first.

Complete dump. Online pictures have been photoshopped. Smells like smoke, floors are unclean, carpet has stains....everywhere. Beds look like camp grounds. Dogs barking in other rooms. Dumpster fire

Smelled like smoke everywhere on property and my room. People were screaming and cursing loudly all night.

Mattresses are fairly hard, not firm, i do mean hard. Showers are excellent heat and pressure. Staff is doing their best. Housecleaning is only every 2 weeks. I was there 3 and never did receive a turnover. Cable and Internet were out my last 4 days.

Floor stayed wet, not sure if it was because of condensation or what but literally was wet the entire two day stay. Door did not have a properly working lock. Bed was decent. All night long heard people banging around. Front desk was closed most of the time including an hour I had to wait for someone to arrive to get room key fixed. Overall would would give this place 2 out of 5.

Arrived at hotel - area seemed okay BUT No. Sketchy people going in/out. Front desk gave us our key then had us wait so she could go check if room was clean?!?!? Came back 10 minutes later. Place smelled like weed/smoke. Beds were a joke. Sheets were thread bare. Stayed a total of 15 minutes. Went downstairs checked out - lost $143 payment. But kept our safety. Don’t stay here!!!!!

TV remoted did not work. Floor turned feet black when bare-footed. STaff is good.

Pictures are not accurate, small beds on box spring, and 2 small pillows. Fine if you’re traveling alone. towels in restroom were dirty. Fridge was rusty , floors were dirty even though it smelled like it had just been cleaned

We couldn’t even stay the night in this hotel. We opted to buy an air mattress and stay on a friends’ floor instead of staying here. The hotel smelled musty on the first floor and smoke on the other floors. Our first clue should have been the nice couple getting a refund and checking out when we were checking in. The rooms were outdated and smelled. The elevators were shaky and felt unsafe, and we believe the employees are permanent residence at the Hotel. Also we reserved a Queen bed and they didn’t have any available when checking in, so we got stuck with 2 full beds. Not a great hotel

Do not stay in this place. No receptionist to help you check-in. At soonest you walk in the smells of Marijuana is amazingly strong. I didn't check-in because i bring family with me and I didn't feel comfortable . I was charged anyway. Definitely never again.

I reserved 2 night and when I got there it looked nothing like the pictures, smelled like cigs, and was a tiny room. I cancelled my second night and they said I would get a refund for the night I didn't stay. They said manager will be there Monday to call and I did and she took my number and said she would call me but never did.

The reason my rating is four stars and not three was the great service provided by Stephanie at the front desk...kind, friendly, and got us in our room so we could enjoy our time in College Station. The room was clean, which we were happy with, but the elevators and hallways smelled like marijuana smoke. There were also individuals loitering outside, not sure if they were guests or not...did not give the most secure vibe. There is no front desk attendant starting at 10:00 p.m., and when we left at 7:00 a.m., the desk was still closed. Understand this hotel is intended for extended stay clients, so tailor your expectation. Good place, suited our need...you get what you pay for.

What I didn't like was no one was upfront and I had to wait to check in. The staff was rude the hotel looked nice on the outside until I went in then it was unclean and smelled very badly. Then when I went into my room it smelled very bad. Then when I came in later my key didn't work so had to get it reprogrammed and she was rude as well. It was like that they were short handed. I didn't like my stay because online it said everything was included. When I checked in I had to sign paperwork stating that if I wanted anything else it would be charged to my card. No free wifi that was a extra charge. So I didn't use WiFi nor asked for anything else other than my card stopped working the next night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff did not know how to check us in and it took them forever to do so! The hallways were dirty!

I reserved the room for 2 days. I checked-in late due to coming in from out of state, but management was aware of this. Upon arrival, I had to wait 30 to 45 mins for anyone to respond or allow me to check-in and get a key. I had an appt first thing in morning so was gone most of the day into the afternoon. Upon returning to room i realized the toilet would not flush. I notified the front desk who said there was no maintenance person and they couldnt fix it. They told me i could get refund or stay there with no toilet. Their rooms were full so they couldnt give me another. I basically had to find another hotel room in town and was not given a refund for the additional day which i was advised i would get. I will never stay here again and I strongly insist no one else does.

You get what you pay for! It is cheap for a reason. I thought I was just getting a good deal, but the property was gross and unpresentable. There were large groups of men, drinking and grilling, being loud in the parking lot, dirty halls, and people laying in the halls. The best word to describe this place is ghetto. There wasn’t even any complementary soap in the bathroom. We were given limited towels and if you needed more, you had to return to the front desk to trade out your dirty towel for a new towel, they do not come to your room to clean up or restock towels. And a top everything off we had to leave in the middle of the night, because they had lost power.

Easy access to everything in BCS

Smell of marijuana was overwhelming throughout the hotel. Room had no towels at all, clerk made it seem to be an inconvenience to provide them. Lots of sketchy people lingering in the plot

Most disgusting poorly run hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. Awoken by neighbors fighting for over an hour at 5;30 AM. Not safe.

We immediately left to find a different hotel. The hotel clerk was very rude - had her music on her phone blaring the entire time. Her random friend, who was not an employee, came into the office and demanded a master key. Then her friend proceeded to look at the form we just filled out. Lots of sketchy people everywhere. Did not feel safe & did not feel our vehicle would be safe. Hallways smelled awful. The room was tiny and unclean. Literally just a mattress on a frame.

Its conveniently located

I liked the price, availability, and the convenience of the location to restaurants, the location of my place of business for the weekend. I did not like that the stove top in my room was gritty and greasy.

Poor service, TV didn't work, no pillows in the room, smelt like dope and ciggere, no Chair in tne room , no coffee in the room or in the lobby, no staff on the property from 10pm till 9am. We will never stay in this hotel again. I give it "0" stars

The photos are completely deceiving. I should have rather chosen motel 6. The rooms were missing basic toiletries as well as coffee maker. Rooms were stinky and dirty.
