Did not realize the history of this building. It makes it unique. Plus the location to several eateries and the available free parking. Hard to find anything really wrong. Quiet and not so far from Mt St Michel. Great price. Would stay again.

I can highly recommend this hotel. We were visiting Mont Sainte-Michel (Abbey), this location was perfect. Close to the bus pickup for the abbey, easy drive from Paris. You are staying in a 500 yr old building, you can expect creaks and uneven floors. Lots of steps (has elevator) as is common in Europe. The hotel and the town are just so charming. Staff was helpful and made great drinks for the travelers. We had the best meal of the trip at an Italian restaurant just down the street (I can't find the name online). We were given an amazing thunder and lightning storm when we arrived. It's a stormy coast.

Old building & quirky but adequate size room & everything worked ok. Comfy bed & many BBC TV programmes. Breakfast room of faded grandeur and breakfast good. No evening meal but plenty of restaurants close by - Free parking al over town

The hotel is an historic building (16th century), so the room was small and quaint, and had staircase access even with a small elevator. The step-up bathroom was fully modernized. The hotel also has a pretty courtyard. The breakfast room is elegant and the breakfast itself was good, with an optional hot dish available. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful when we were stranded by a train strike. It is well-located, about 5-minute walk to the train station where there is a shuttle to Mont St Michel.

An old hotel. Charming. Small but comfy. Liked the courtyard out back. Parking was close and free. Breakfast was well worth it. There was a bar but I never saw anyone in it. Would have patronized it if there had been.

This was a great location for a one night stay before visiting Mont Saint Michel (parking for shuttles to the island is just a 10 minute drive). The room and bath are quite small but workable for a one night stay. Several restaurants walkable from the hotel and free parking nearby.

Very kind and friendly staff. We arrived an hour early. With luck, the room was ready and we were able to check in...never guaranteed but always appreciated. Parking was in the large, quiet free village car park lot right by the hotel...very easy. Hotel had a good central location, convenient for Mont Saint Michel. We didn't have the optional breakfast, so cant comment on that. Merci!

Historic building made into a charming hotel. I stayed in one of the new, renovated rooms but most of the hotel is an old and cozy building. Staff are bilingual, rooms are clean, and it’s in a good location in town. I hope to stay there again one day!

Personnels de la reception très très sympathique, s'intéresse au séjours des clients. Petit déjeuner copieux Hotel très propre. très insonorisé au niveau des fenetres Les clients parcontre très irrespectueux au niveau des chambres (claquement de porte parle à voix haute) mais le personnel n'y est pour rien. Et le seul bémol, toilette petite et non aérée, et peut etre envisagé de mettre des douches à la place des baignoires. Juste pour trouver un inconvénient de l'hotel, sinon c'était super!!!!!

This is a relatively small, cozy hotel near Mont St Michel. It is full of history and has a wonderful character. The staff are awesome and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and up-to-date on the amenities. There is free parking right behind the hotel and there are several very good restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Overall, it is a fantastic find near the historic monument of Mont St Michel.

Nice hotel, very clean. I only have an issue with the toilet. It is separate from the shower, but it is in a very small enclosed section. Hotel is old but clean and spotless. Personnel is friendly, informative and attentive. I would stay again.

This is a gem of a hotel. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. Easy access to parking and only 10 mins away from Mont St.Michel. The hotel room / bathroom configuration needs a bit of getting used to but very manageable.

This is a beautiful, elegant historic hotel with lovely staff and a terrific breakfast. It is a short walk to/from the Pontorson train station. In the off season, the buses to Mont St Michel from the train station are not frequent so be prepared to pay for taxis (which are not plentiful but are very friendly!).

Within the budget. We walk to the train station to hop in the bus ($3 each) to go to the entrance site of the Abbey, then hop in a free shuttle bus to go to the Abbey or you can walk from here.

This hotel is gorgeous and full of character - we really enjoyed our stay! The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and had some lovely local delicacies including apple crumble and a wonderful pumpkin and orange jam!

The location is in center of town in an old mansion that has been somewhat renovated. Had to go up 10 steps to second floor room. Rooms are clean but small. Breakfast costs extra and is average. Parking is behind the hotel in public parking and free. A few good resturants within walking distance.
