Lobby staff was very nice and friendly. The check in was quick and easy. They said I had together $100 deposit that they would later get back, so I hope they do. The room was clean and spacious, but definitely not new. The bed was clean and comfortable. The only thing is in the bathroom they only had bar soap to wash your hands, and sink for the shower. The showerhead was also facing towards the wall and could not be moved. They do have free parking. You just have to let them know so they can give you a permit to put on your window.

They do not clean your room unless you stay at least 5 days. You have to go to the front desk to get new towels and toilet paper. They do not give you any toiletries either. You only get 3 pillows and those are flat What I did like is the room is big and has hard wood floors.

I have stayed here in the past and was pleased. This time I was disgusted! Cockroaches galore! Vacationed with my 6 year old daughter who was traumatized by the roaches. Afraid to use the bathroom because the roaches ruled it. We spent a night in our rental car because of this. Hotel manager refused my request for a refund for days not yet used. I was given a credit of $16. Rooms were cleaned 3x’s for the 3 weeks we stayed there. It was a horrible stay. Expedia did help by giving key cash… but couldn’t use it since everything was already paid for. Don’t book here.

In general a good place to say, room cleaning only every 5 days though (expedia said daily). The bath room has no place to store things, not even a little surface around the sink, so you have to place everything on the floor. But its clean, the beds are comfy and its a safe neighborhood. The staff was always very helpful and friendly.

The corridors were dirty and we smelled strong scents of urine in the elevator and hallway to our room. The room, while generally clean was in poor condition with scratch marks on the wall and painted over rot decay on the bathroom baseboards. The room was also noisy as we had heards of elephants in the room above us.

i have stayed here multiple times over the last few years and never had an issue till this most recent trip in February 2025. The room felt dirty then when we pulled back the sheets they were dirty! Will not be staying again.

Room was clearly not clean, the floor was filthy and hadn’t been swept in who knows how long. Room smells strongly of musty smoke and the bathroom stank to high heavens. It appeared that the caulking around the base of the toilet was disturbed, so it may have been sewer fumes that we inhaled for almost 5 days. We used nearly an entire can of air fresher in just a few days. Microwave barely worked, super low power and the table inside did not turn. The fridge was a good size, but it was hardly cold, more of a cooler than a fridge. No housekeeping. AC is super loud but stays cold. Security was fine and we felt safe despite the dirtiness. Front desk staff was fine, not their fault that they work at a bad hotel. Pictures were very deceitful.

The property was in a convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. The property allowed us to check in early which was nice after a long early flight. My only complaint was the noise during the early hours with people outside talking loudly or hearing loud housekeeping carts early. Walls were thin and you could conversations.

Room was clean and comfortable. It was also suprisingly spacious. Covered parking. Easy access to freeway. Room has coffeemaker, small fridge and a microwave - just remember to bring all your own personal amenities like shampoo and hairdryer.

We stayed for 7 nights and would definitely come back. Although the property is showing it's age, it's clean. Security on the property was a great reassurance. Our room had an issue with our bed, we brought it to the attention of the front desk and immediately a solution was offered. They went above and beyond. More storage in the room would be nice, even a bench or a dresser. No shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the rooms. When we asked for some at the front desk, they immediately gave us enough for our entire stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great experience!

Pros: Good AC. Safe parking. Clean room. Convenient location. Starbucks at your doorstep. Lots of stores and food places close by. Quiet mostly with some traffic noise. Cons: Not 3 star as advertised. 2 star at best. Bed is ok but not great. Rooms basic, bare and bleak. Not one picture on walls. 1 desk chair one sofa in a suite. No extras. No hairdryer in room. *stayed 6 nights. On 4th day of stay I was told the room had to be cleaned, no choice in the matter. They said because I was on my 5th day and as such mandatory every 5 days. Wrong it was just the day they had a full cleaning crew and also it seems the average clientele is sketchy enough that they want to make sure anyone staying more than 5 days isn't up to no good. Kind of annoying having no choice in the matter. Cleaning lady was very nice though.

Was told that the room wasn’t ready even though we arrived hours after the check in time. Told them we have a concert and would really appreciate knowing when the room was ready since we needed to change beforehand. Was told there was no estimate of when it would be ready and that they would call. Received a call while in line at the concert (after having to change in the rental car) that said “sorry we didn’t call you sooner, room is ready.” This property needs to do a better job of anticipating incoming and outgoing guests.

I'll tell you what made this spot truly worth it - (1) the price, I needed a single day's layover in Los Angeles for good price and I got it, (2) the friendliness of the staff - very very kind man behind the counter, (3) a Little Caesar's pizza was two blocks away.

When I arrived the property, a very unfriendly receptionist greeted me with a unpleasant facial expression. She appeared to not be interested in her work, and she was not very friendly as I asked questions about my checking in. She informed me there was a $49.00 early check in fee, and a one-hundred-dollar added deposit for my stay. I was told, 'that house cleaning and room service would be done in five days. I stayed there for one week, not one of the on-premises employees or house cleaner came to my room of 103, to bring clean towels or clean the room. I had to go to the office to get clean towels and do the house cleaning myself. The parking was not very accommodating, and upon my checkout on the seventh day of my stay. No one was available for me to checkout with, the front entrance door was locked, and security had to call someone on his phone to come and get me checked out. Overall, my stay was terrible, and those employees were the most unfriendly and unconcerned employees I have come in contact with at any hotel I have stayed at in my travels. I was very, very, very disappointed with my stay there. I feel no traveler who chooses to stay at Motel 6 should be treated like I was, and I am very unhappy with my choosing Motel 6 for my stay in California.

Location was great for a show at So-Fi. Not close enough to walk necessarily, but only like a 7 minute drive. Location was also great for convenience to restaurants, morning coffee, and anything else you might need while in sunny SoCal. Comfortable clean rooms, and ample parking.

Property is very well maintained and very clean. Staff are helpful. Suite rooms are spacious. Location was close to several interstates and freeways making access easy to anywhere in LA. Close to supermarkets, take aways and various other shops. Plenty of free parking. Heated pool. An excellent choice for the price.

We loved the underground parking. The falsely advertised breakfast was disappointing to find out they dont offer. The room wasnt clean when we arrived and despite asking and being assured it would be fixed it never was.

Great value, clean rooms, pleasant staff, comfortable beds (on the soft side), safe neighborhood, plenty of parking and a Starbucks right next door! Folks, it is a 2.5 star hotel. Not the Ritz. Yes, the vending machines were empty, yes, the pillows and towels are lame/old/thin and there are no extras like shampoo or conditioner but again, it is a cheap place to stay. Close to LAX and event venues. Wouldn’t recommend for a vacation but would recommend for an inexpensive clean place to sleep when you are out and about all day. Oh, and ask for the side of the building facing Hawthorne…then you don’t have to put up with the annoying dog barking in someone’s backyard below your window. You are welcome.

Hotel was good, staff was friendly. Pool was a perfect 86F. We did need to take down & pick up our own towels, toilet paper, etc. and was a little frustrated when we were told that they would have coffee on until 10:00am and showed up at 9:40 and there was no coffee in the urn and I turned & told the person at the desk and she just just shrugged & kept on what she was doing. Starbucks is in the parking lot. It is probably the only coffee you can get.

Friendly staff. Great location - near the arena I was visiting. Staff helped us out with early check in 2 hours prior to original time. They also let us stay 1 hour after check out time for no extra cost. Love the microwave and coffee maker in the room. Clean, but a little outdated. Overall a comfortable stay.
