We love this place! (And, so did our dog!) This was our first stay, and we intend to come back again and again. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely fitted out. The grounds are lovely - pool area is really nicely done. The common areas are a nice place to hang out. The hotel is dog friendly, and she loved it - the grass area is huge and great for dogs. The hotel is very close to great cafes and restaurants. And the beach. You’ll love it.

Loved the huge pool and outdoor area. Located in a quiet area and close to the centre of town, so easily walkable, but the free bikes to use whenever we wanted was a welcome addition. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a short stay. The staff were very helpful and so friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the communal covered patio for coffee or playing cards in the rain. The motel offers fresh brewed beverages, cocktails and snacks. The chaise lounges by the pool were in the shade and comfortable. The landscaping is well kept. While we didn't use the parking lot, there is plenty of room. The location is quiet and an easy walk to the town, park and beach. The one thing I would recommend is adding another bench for placing guest's personal items on (or extra pillows). The rooms are very large but sparse.

this was a basic but comfortable hotel - nicely kept - and housekeeping came everyday - it was in walking distance to everything - river and beach - Restaurants were fantastic - ate out at the Italian / Japanese and the Brunswick Hotel - i loved this little town and would love to come back in mid Summer. we had two rooms - i prefer the top level of the complex - and the bikes were a great hit with the family! and it was nice to see there were plenty of bikes available.

The king bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The room was very spacious, to the point of being spartan & a second chair would be welcome. I personally did not like the vanity being external to the bathroom. Internet access was very poor. The proximity to the main road was good in that it was very walkable to town, however the traffic noise at night was a nuisance to a light sleeper. Checkin was very easy & staff member courteous, friendly & helpful. I would recommend this property

Love the modern decor and the big rooms. Cool feature to have front and back doors. The room profile showed a hammock which was one of the reasons I picked lower floor but there were no hammocks. Was a little noisy as I was near the stairs and windows didn’t seem to seal completely but overall a lovely little motel with updated decor and facilities

Stayed two nights in August 2023. Old style motel refurbished into cool beach look. Nicely decorated but no comfortable chairs and bathroom facilities very cramped. Fridge turned into minibar and no freezer - not practical for travellers. Lovely pool and garden area

From the moment that we arrived we felt welcome. Staff were really lovely and had time to chat. We were upgraded without us asking. A no fuss, fresh breakfast was down in the dining room each morning. Very quiet, comfortable and charming hotel with quirky artwork. We are booking in again very soon.

Fire alarm went off early morning and no one on site to help sort out the panic so kind of ruined a nice quiet weekend away handing around in a freezing cold carpark for half an hour with all the guests.

I contacted motel to let them know I’d be arriving after admin hours and they said no problem they would send me checking details via email. I didn’t receive any details and so when I arrived I called the number on the building. The lady on the phone was not the motel manager but some kind of third party that wouldn’t give me access to my room without giving my credit card details over the phone. I did not feel comfortable giving my credit card over the nine and had already pre paid the fee of my nights stay. She said she would call the managers and then let me know when she heard back whether I’d be allowed to stay. I asked how long it would be and she said usually only a few minutes. I waited in the rain for 20 mins and she didn’t call me back so I called back and reluctantly gave my credit card details to be given access to the room. She didn’t rep me where the swipe access was so I was looking for a key which didn’t exist and took a while to figure out as there were no instructions. The person on the phone had lots of noise in the background and people laughing and it felt unsafe to give details over the phone and was a terrible experience. I emailed the motel with no response. I would never stay here again.

Mit einem kleinen Empfehlungsheft hat man sich viel Mühe gemacht, das ist klasse. Late check out wurde uns netterweise angeboten. A really convenient location for restaurants & shopping in Bruns. Try the Happy Dolphin for breakfast & Bruns Bakery for meat pies and sweets. Nice pool and lounges, comfortable bed, and a wonderful ceiling fan. The staff are thoughtful and friendly. Overall, a great place to stay.
