We stayed at the Oaks for six nights. After travelling for a week, the comfort and facilities were perfect for us - especially efficient washing machine and dryer!! The Oaks is located opposite the South Yarra train station - perfect for airport connections via Skybus and train. Similarly easy to the city, trams in Toorak and Chapel Sts for NGV, Hawthorn etc. Loads of cafes etc near my, altho the two hot plates, oven and microwave gave us home options. Bed was a Queen and ultra comfy. Bathroom shower etc all easy for two people. The train can be noisy if you’re sensitive - we closed that window at night. But we also sat on the balcony and train watched!! Terrific week!!

The suite itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, there were several practical issues that affected our overall experience. I stayed 2 nights and would say this was value for money. The ladies on reception were all very welcoming and attentive. The decor of the room is quite dated and economical but pleasant enough. Room came with a washing machine and dryer, small kitchen, bathroom, double bed and a living room. Loads of nearby food options and of course the station is a 5 min walk of that.

We enjoyed our stay! Both reception staff during checking in and checking out were friendly and informative. The room was clean, the parking very close and affordable. Public transport available at the door, and places to explore and eat were next door or around the corner. The only con was a working dryer but we only found this out the night before check out, and by then it was after hours, so didn't really hinder our experience. Would definitely come back. Would suggest printed and laminated instructions for air con

Bra lägenhetshotell för oss som föredrar att inte bo mitt i smeten i city men ändå ha nära kommunikationer och kollektivtrafik Plus: Rent och fräscht och utrustat för självhushållning. Mindre mataffär (IGA) finns 50 meter från hotellet och en större och bättre affär (Woolworths) på gångavstånd. Finns även många restauranger och cafeer på gångavstånd. Mycket trevligt område, relativt upscale. Bra service och bemötande, både sen incheckning och sen utcheckning fixades utan problem. Daglig städning. Samarbete med gym runt hörnet som man kan besöka efter att ha kvitterat ut nyckelbricka i hotellreceptionen (detta är ett "riktigt" och ordentligt välutrustat gym, mycket bättre än det genomsnittliga hotellgymmet). Minus: Visst oljud från tågen (tågstation precis bredvid hotellet) men inte särskilt störande med stängd sovrumsdörr - dock gör den stängda dörren även att man inte kan få AC under natten eftersom sådan endast finns i vardagsrummet... Möjligen finns även rum med utsikt åt andra hållet, kan vara värt att fråga om? Totalbetyg: Nöjd med vistelsen, skulle välja det igen.

Place was clean and best thing is just next to the subway. Going to CBD was easy, just 2 to 3 stations. Place was quiet at night and people who like a good night sleep will like this place. Room got everything u need. Cooking facility, washing machine and dryer are all there. Will stay again on my next visit

By far my favourite go to spot when I need to stay in town. Friendliest staff. Rooms always clean and maintained. Easy quick check in. One of few places with beds that I can have a good nights sleep away from home.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff and check in. However my floor smelt like cigarettes and the balcony had not been cleaned properly as there were peanuts on the floor. Good option if you are not spending much time in the room.

The apartment was more than enough for us to use as our base for a long overdue catch up the only thing I would say is the lounge suite needs to be better you couldn’t sit to long on it or maybe a tv in the bedroom

Clean if a bit dated, staff were very nice if a little awkward (seemed like they had been on a training course and were repeating example dialog verbatim and trying to 'connect' but I just wanted a nap). The only problems were outside of their control (there were road works and the narrow road was full of bins and rubbish which was off putting, it was also quite noisy due to the very good train access).

I was recommended to stay there by my work contact. It’s super convenient as it’s right next to the train station as well aa the tram stop. The apartment is very spacious and it’s also close to the trail along the driver. I love the fact that I even have an in-unit washer and dryer!

We stayed at the Oaks for six nights. After travelling for a week, the comfort and facilities were perfect for us - especially efficient washing machine and dryer!! The Oaks is located opposite the South Yarra train station - perfect for airport connections via Skybus and train. Similarly easy to the city, trams in Toorak and Chapel Sts for NGV, Hawthorn etc. Loads of cafes etc near my, altho the two hot plates, oven and microwave gave us home options. Bed was a Queen and ultra comfy. Bathroom shower etc all easy for two people. The train can be noisy if you’re sensitive - we closed that window at night. But we also sat on the balcony and train watched!! Terrific week!!

The suite itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, there were several practical issues that affected our overall experience. Firstly, the car park was not located on-site. While the parking address was included in a separate email, this important detail was not clearly highlighted during booking. Oaks South Yarra is at a great location, round the corner of South Yarra Station. That's the main reason I chose to stay there flying to Melbourne. There are many shops, cafes and restaurant nearby on Toorak Road.

I stayed 2 nights and would say this was value for money. The ladies on reception were all very welcoming and attentive. The decor of the room is quite dated and economical but pleasant enough. Room came with a washing machine and dryer, small kitchen, bathroom, double bed and a living room. Loads of nearby food options and of course the station is a 5 min walk of that.

We enjoyed our stay! Both reception staff during checking in and checking out were friendly and informative. The room was clean, the parking very close and affordable. Public transport available at the door, and places to explore and eat were next door or around the corner. The only con was a working dryer but we only found this out the night before check out, and by then it was after hours, so didn't really hinder our experience. Would definitely come back. Everything you need is there in the room. From kitchen to laundry ammenities. The heater isn’t central climate controlled so it’s great you can set it to what you want. You can’t smoke on the balcony . So don’t get a balcony room if that’s your reason why. Staff were amazing . They always are at the oaks hotels. The room was quiet. Tv in the lounge not one in the bedroom. Loved it. Thanks
