Didn't need parking but the room was fairly clean. Could use an update on towels (they were a little rough) but were clean. Staff was quick with check in and check out. Air Conditioner worked great, was a little on the loud side but not over-baring. Parking looked like there was plenty for every guest. Could use new shower heads since they are the old school ones but water temp and pressure was amazing. The rooms are big and decently furnished. Especially for the area. Close to 711's, Mcdonalds, and dominos for quick bites. Overall we had a good stay here.

You get what you pay for. The hotel itself is safe the surrounding area is not. Clean but no coffee, coffee pot or microwave. There is an ice machine but you have to pay for the ice. Overall it is okay.

Friendly staff, wonderful clean housekeeping , comfortable bed, theres laundry machines, vending machines, free wifi plus netflix, Hulu, etc...theres absolutely nothing i can complain about, would stay again, great prices too! 10/10

one parking spot to check in and find another parking location, but employee assumed I was headed to a room and did not belong there. I told him I was looking for parking so I could free up his check in space. He just said he had no more rooms. Not once did he greet me with any consideration or apologize for assuming I had no business there. I actually had to convince him I already had a reserved room. He wasnt even going to let me in the lobby. Once signed in, he wanted to tell me again how I could not park in the coveted parking spot. Really? this again? Room 202 did not have a secondary lock to protect persons on the inside. Another card key would have provided access to anyone at anytime.

There was a cockroach in the bathroom. At first we were given a room which had smoky smelling, but then they changed the room after I requested it. The overall condition was similar to that of Motel 6.

The place appears to be decent, i booked for five day stay and when i went to check in they booked me in for one night, even though I told them i had a reservation thru Expedia for 5 nights. I was tired and just wanted to rest, i just went to the room i was assigned and checked in. The called me in the room to explain that they found my Expedia reservation and want to charge the balance due. After taking care of the reservation i went and lyed down, about 10pm i got up to use the restroom, turned on the lights and when i did that, there was roaches all over the room, very disgusting. At that point i grabbed my two bags of luggage, shook everything off and checked out, asked for my refund and only received 4 day refund instead of 5 days. NOT GOOD, REALLY GROSS

The rooms are not in good shape. And there were several cockroaches when we arrived. I expected it to have issues due to the low price, but I wouldn’t stay there again for free.

Our stay was bad. The room smelled bad, the bathroom had poor ventilation, and there was cockroaches.

Roaches all over the room! Infested hotel I do not understand how it has a seven rating. Travel Inn should not even be allowed to advertise. Clean seeming on the surface but there are roaches all over the building. The guests who stay here are mostly scary looking men and they will approach you if youre a woman so becareful. Stay away from this place or risk your health and getting roaches inside your luggage and your stuff!

It's an older property, but you can't beat the price. Rooms are modern, but TV is too small for the size of the room and the distance from the bed. This seems to be the norm with renovated rooms everywhere these days. Check-in was quick and efficient.

Noisy tenants, poor communication with morning staff, no coffee at all, people up all hours of the evening until dawn. Air conditioning was very very noisy.

I liked the fact that they offered a big suite, accommodating our whole family.

The room was spacious, the beds were soft, it went beyond what I expected for paying $98! It was definitely a good price. The location is a little hectic and our door key pad was a bit weird. But we were able to lock the door with one of the locks it had. It just didn’t seem super secure. We only stayed in to sleep but leaving extra belongings seems sketch. Overall though? Good experience and fast check in.

Noise Air conditioner.

People in the 2nd floor are making a lot of noises and have difficulty getting hold of the front deck. Also language barrier, didn't probably understand my complaint. The noises continued. I really like the place but of the nuisance that bothered me. I needed the rest and quiet and I didn't get it.

We had booked room with king bed, they switched the room with two single beds and would not even apologize for that. Instead they said take it or leave it. Very callous and disrespectful customer service. Unfortunately we did not have a choice at 10pm to find a different property. Basic necessities missing from room. No coffeemaker and no microwave. They did not even provide a bottle of water. They refused to allow use of microwave in the lobby to boil some water. No electric iron or hair dryer in the room either. The AC unit was loud like a helicopter landing. Would never stay at this property again.

First of all I want to stay this is the worse experience I ever had in my entire traveling time. We had 2 rooms booked Thursday-Sunday. We were on the road Thursday expecting a 5 hour drive from sacramento to LA, unfortunately we had an accident my front tire popped at 80mph, it was bad we couldn’t drive so we had to wait for a new tire to be placed. That gave us roughly 2 hours delay. We got to the hotel trying to check in around 12ish and this older Asian man yelling at us very rude, I tried explaining our situation but he did not care he was just being rude. We were so tired we were not willing to look for another hotel or drive around. We had to wake up early to visit universal studios the following day. If I had enough time I would cancel by all means there is no way someone is running a business and has no compassion for customers. They area is bad a lot of things going on. The rooms need more ventilation. Overall I rate this hotel a 0.. don’t let this man treat you this way if you ever go here Take your business elsewhere as a business owner myself I would never act this way. So unprofessional and unacceptable!!

I HAD RESERVED A 2 BED BOTTOM FLOOR DUE TO ISSUES WALKING. THE DESK CLERK GAVE MY ROOM AWAY TO SOMEBODY ELSE, WAS RUDE AND YELLED AT ME AT MY PARTNER. ASKED FOR MANAGERS 9NFO OR CORPORATE NUMBER HE REFUESED TO GIVE ME EITHER, REFUSED TO GIVE ME HIS NAME, AN D WOULDNT TELL ME WHERE MY ROOM WAS LOCATED AT. THE BATHROOM WAS DIRTY AND TUB HAD A RING AROUND THE TUB. THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE IN ROOM. IT WAS I9N LAUNDRY ROOM WHERE IT STUNK LIKE OLD URINE. PEOPLE WERE PARTYING IN PARKING LOT WITH ALOT OF GARBAGE OVER LOT. PROPERTY NOR ROOMS ARE TAKEN CARE OF. HAD TO ARGUE WITH CLEANING LADY THAT WE NEED TWO WASH CLOTHES NOT ONE, THERE WERE TWO OF US. SHE WAS RELUCTANT TO GIVE IT TO US. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AND IN TERRIBLE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH GANGS, ACTIVE DRUG ADICTS, AND HOMELESS RUNNIG THROUGH PARKING LOT AT ALL HOURS. WORSE PLACE EVER WILL NOT RETURN TO A TRAVEL LODGE AGAIN

Checking in at night the older guy was really rude and impolite! The rooms were so uncomfortable. The property so updated and smelled bad. Never again

I will continue to say the front desk manager lady in mornings up til 4pm, is one of the sweetest and well reserved staff member at this motel. I never had any type of issue with her, I'm very respectful of their property, so I see it as, you recieve good customer care from her and other staff when you respect their property. Room is always cleaned and maids are really good at cleaning daily. Just cause of her in front, I will continue to go there when needed.

Excellent stay Nancy is kind & very helpful. Ekii is also helpful (I'm not sure if that's how to spell his name & I'm not sure the other gentleman's name Everyone has been professional & attentive. I def will keep this hotel in mind if I have another trip to this part of the valley. The housekeepers are also warm & helpful.

Pretty sketchy neighborhood, room had a mildly unpleasant smell, parking lot didn’t feel safe.

I liked it because it's accessible to the freeway. The property is well lit and it seems safe.

Front desk guy wasn’t helpful or super welcoming. Asked where our room was and he just said that way. Place did not feel super safe and the two strip clubs across the street didn’t help

The room was ok. The AC worked fine. There was a fridge that was off when we arrived and took 3 hours to get cold. We were on the second floor and taking up our suitcases was difficult on our own. No hangers to hang any of our clothes. The shower water didn't come out of the shower head like a normal shower head would. Most of the water came out of the tub spout diverter, making it not able to reach the shower head. This needs to be replaced as you have a broken old tub spout diverter that needs to be replaced so water will come out for a shower. The ice machine is on the first floor and it costs .25 cents. There were hairs on the pillow cases so we used our own pillows and sheets. There were no amenities offered to us. No bagels or donuts or coffee offered to us for the morning. For the price we paid we expected a little more hospitality for our stay.

Good location. Clean and friendly staff. Quiet and safe. Good prices for a no frills stay. No hangers - maybe it's a trend. I stayed at another budget hotel and they had no hangers either. There was a fridge but no microwave.

This is a decent, budget hotel in North Hills, with easy access to the 405 freeway. It's an older property, but has been kept in relatively good condition. The rooms have been updated somewhat, and are clean and spacious. They lobby is closed and you have to check-in through a window even in mid-day. There were only two towels and a washcloth in the room, but we were able to get additional linens. Figuring out some of the idiosyncrasies was an adventure. The AC was on a switched outlet, and the refrigerator was also on a switched outlet along with the main room light. After moving the refrigerator to another outlet, and activating the AC outlet, those issues were solved. For a non-smoking unit, we were disappointed to find a cigarette butt on the shelf. Also there were no hangars in the room. It would be nice to have more outlets, but a small power strip solved that issue nicely. But the beds were comfortable, and the curtains darkened the room well. There are several nearby restaurants within walking distance, including a nice one on property open for breakfast and lunch. Tough to beat the price, and it is centrally located for Santa Clarita to Santa Monica.

First of all the ac unit was really noisy, there was no coffee maker in the room, ther were words writen on one of the pictures on the wall and they looked like they were writen with body fluids, the man at the counter when i checked in was ok, but the one at check out was really rude! He yelled at my mother for no reason! She just wanted to ask if there was a microwave in the lobby, and to top it off it was mot a cheap one! Ive stayed at cheaper hotels with better quality, i definatwly wont stay there again

Everything was clean the floors the bed the tables they had breakfast menu here and the staff is really nice other than that it's in the neighborhood that's pretty rough

My husband and I liked the location as everything you may need is within a mile. "Gentleman's Club" across the street not so great, but there was a wonderful Thai restaurant, a great bagel place (Western Bagel), WalMart, Target, gas stations, fast food, and the best taco truck all within about a mile. Also easy access to the 405. Linens appeared and smelled clean. Little fridge was great for leftovers and cold water bottles! Attendants were nice and helpful. Downsides are rooms are a bit worn, parking spaces are pretty narrow, and there seemed to be some drama with residents ... and the "Odd Ball Cabaret" advertising nude entertainment. We got a good price of $90 a night and felt this was fair. We will remember them and use Travel Inn again if we need to be in the area.
