The room was nice and the property was decent. The walls are paper thin and our neighbor played loud music 3 of the 4 nights which was very frustrating. The pull out couch was also very uncomfortable. The downstairs little store was super convenient and the gym was nice. Stay was fine, but I would choose to stay elsewhere next time overall

I had an awesome stay here in Schertz. This Candlewood is amazing. The bed was great. Awesome pillows. It was quiet.my room was by the entrance alongside the reception desk and it was surprisingly not loud whatsoever. The young Lady whom I forgot to get her name, was Awesome! Very attentive and gave me the rundown on the operation of the "store" if you will. They have free coffee 24/7. In a day and time where nothing is free...it was here! This is a great place to stay if you\'re into staying in a clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, type of place, well this is it. Definitely will make it a point to visit again.

The property was okay if you don't care about eating out. The staff did help me with early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Ice maker did not work, hair dryer died and they didn't have a spare. Smoker smell in the common areas although the room smelled okay.

The first room we went to wasn't cleaned out, the second room had missing furniture. The front staff was rude and showed no concern. The pool water was dirty and the area around the pool, there was dog poop everywhere. I felt unsafe

Pool was dirty/ bathtub was extremely filthy..had to clean it ourselves, food crumbs left in the room, AC not working, rooms had a bad smell-musty, sheets were dull looking.. very disappointing for the price...would NOT recommend to anyone or stay there again..very gross

Had signs stating cars were not safe there. Website were I secured the rooms said they served breakfast - they did not. We had to buy food there at more than twice the rate of a restaurant.

The hotel had a strong oder of smoke as we walked into the lobby. Then our room also had the smoke oder. When we showed water ran all into the bathroom. We had to use the towels to dry the floor. The bed was comfortable.

Didn’t like killing 9 roaches in room 419. Asked for manager not there, told front desk want to move rooms. She said since booked through a 3rd party she was not allowed to move us. Spoke with manager in morning at check out, only would apologize. Did not like paying $25 to check in 1 1/2 hours prior to 3pm check in time. We drove from Dallas for a celebration of life for our uncle and didn’t want to leave luggage in car. Room was “supposedly” clean with exception of roaches. Think they could at least refund the early check in fee for compensation. Did not like road noise from I35.

When we checked in to our first room the smell was AWFUL. I complained to the front desk staff and they moved us but the second room did not smell very good either. We bought febreeze and that helped a little. We also were not told that they were an extended stay as it is not advertised anywhere so housekeeping doesn't come if you arent staying more than 7 days due to them being an extended stay. Overall we were not happy with the stay and probably wont stay there again.

The staff was friendly and helpful! Next to the freeway with construction made some rooms noisy. Some of the pots and pans were worn and could use replacements. The shower curtains could be longer to keep the shower water in the tub. The pullout bed was slightly better than sleeping on the floor. Overall, good. Would stay there again.

I had a room on the east side facing I35. I could not sleep. The noise from outside was terrible. It was inconvenient because you had to go around I35 to get to tge restaurants.

Late arrival, front doors were locked. Had to ring bell for front desk. Stood outside fas bell wasn’t working so had to wait for someone at desk to see me out side. Key card wouldn’t work to room, even after replacing. Desk clerk had to physically let us in our room. Room smelled of cigarettes with air freshener. Not the best experience. Would not stay here again or recommend.

Staff was rude and made personal paying to sleep there walk around the main entrance to side entrance because they didn’t feel like unlocking the main entrance door keep in mind it was 29 degrees outside. The shower didn’t have a lip to keep the water on the shower floor IN THE SHOWER so eventually the water ends up going everywhere in the restroom floor.

The people that work there are awful. We booked our hotel through hotel.com for a king handicap accessible room. When we got there they check us in made no comment that they didn’t have the kind of room available but instead just made us thinking we were getting the room we wanted. Took our money and refused to refund us or place us in another room with a king even though they had the room available. Worst customer service and they lied to hotel.com and said they have the room we booked. We walked out and never used the room and they still refuse to refund our money.

The front desk agent was super nice and helpful! I wish I could remember his name. This is a comfortable, clean hotel with nice sized rooms. It's on the freeway, but we just put white noise on our phones and slept fine!

The Suite was so nice We loved the kitchenette area, my husband and I were able to fix breakfast without having to buy it. We had a small incident in the first room we had and they didn't hesitate to give us with another room. They apologized for the inconvenience . Overall , everything was nice and the staff was very helpful. I am going to stay there again when I go back to Sann Antonio, TX.

I enjoyed my stay at the Candlewood Suites, our room was nice and clean once we entered. The staff was very helpful and kind. Thought it was bigger but it was a fair size. The store prices for the food and snacks were too pricey. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely stay again.
