I had a good stay at the Royal Apollonia. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff were generally polite and helpful, and the facilities, especially the pool area, were enjoyable. However, the pool beds could do with upgrading their comfort as they were rather worn and sagging which was not conducive for those of us who needed more stability for our backs.

Nice hotel, somewhat dated. Lack of a heated outdoor pool is an issue for guests during April and May (as such, not many people use it). Staff are helpful, though lack of information from Reception at check in. Spa looks good, food was good. A lot of road noise if facing the front of the hotel.

Vi bodde på dette hotellet i 12 netter august 2025 og hadde 1/2 pensjon. Strålende fornøyd med oppholdet på alle måter. Veldig god service både av resepsjonister, ansatte i restaurant og generelt annet servicepersonell på hotellet. Maten var variert og med svært god kvalitet. Uteområdet med beliggenhet nede ved sjøen og privat strand til hotellet med gratis solsenger og basseng var meget bra. Enkelt å ta buss fra hotellet, busstopp rett utenfor og hyppige avganger til for eksempel gamlebyen og kjøpesenter.

We had a really lovely time at the hotel. The pool sunbeds were very comfortable and plentiful. Rooms had all amenities we required. Breakfast was delicious, with an enormous choice. The gym was very well-equipped. Overall, a really excellent hotel, with staff being solicitous for our comfort.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Nice pool and spa. Breakfast and good quality was high. Loved the beach so close. The let down is that staff lack any warmth and welcoming hospitality. For the price you pay you would expect fantastic service.

A couple of issues: the bathroom door in the room didn’t have a lock. The hotel room door doesn’t close easily. The sunbeds around the pool are big and comfortable, but they are black and become very hot under the sun. The housekeeping lady knocks on the door and directly enters the room. Also, during checkout, we were charged a 145€ bill at their restaurant which was not ours; but the receptionist at the front desk immediately solved the issue.

We stayed at Royal Apollonia for 7 nights during our short vacation in Cyprus. My husband and I were impressed by the outstanding service! Morning breakfast was excellent as well. The hotel was very clean and its location convenient. We would highly recommend Royal Apollonia and look forward to visiting it again soon.

The hotel used to be quite a bit cheaper 1.5 years ago. It looks a bit tired in places and is overpiced really if you look at the state of the cupboards in the rooms, carpet in the hall etc. The price has gone up a lot but things have not been kept up to date, which is a shame.The breakfast & pool area is excellent. The rooms are very spacious and staff very friendly

This hotel was absolutely perfect. We loved everything about it and will be back. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, it had fantastic restaurants and pool area, the staff was so helpful and friendly. It had everything we needed and more .

The hotel is super nice, the sea view rooms are so worth to stay in. Breakfast is international with many options to choose from. The beach and swimming pool is well maintained and the furniture is really new and clean. Rooms are well furnished, the only need to put more effort to clean walkways between rooms and to pay more attention to the small details. All in all it was a great stay and I would recommend the hotel and will visit again for sure.

A luxurious hotel with spacious rooms and lots of facilities inside the hotel. Good connections for public transport as well as plenty of parking for hired or private cars. Excellent food options within the hotel and plenty of options within walking distance as well as local restaurants further afield.

I recently stayed at the Royal Apollonia following surgery at the GMI. Paulina (the Operations Manager) was fantastic in ensuring the room allocated to me was appropriate for my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort at the hotel throughout my stay. In fact, all of the staff were wonderful in ensuring that I was well taken care of, in a friendly and very hospitable manner. Paulina really takes the time to get to know her guests and look after them hence the high number of very loyal repeat customers that I met at the hotel. Bus stop right at the hotel entry made commuting into town very easy & affordable.Beautiful seafront views from the superior Seaview room were wonderful to enjoy every day too. I look forward to returning again soon to Paulina and her wonderful team at the Royal Apollonia. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness they extended to me as a solo traveller during my recent st

Overall a very nice hotel, situated beautifully by the sea, and with a nice pool and sea area. I booked a room with sea view which was very nice. Nice beds and good facilities. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a special egg station. The service was however a bit uneven. It all depended on who helped you. George - greeting at front, Yasser, John and the breakfast team were all solid solid and reliable. But at other times, especially in the bar (lunch á la carte on the veranda) and at reception, you could not always rely on the delivery and service. For example: I asked the day before to have a taxi booked for a certain time as I had an appointment. This was apparently forgotten, and by the time I was to departure, they called for taxi which arrived 20 min later. Also, in the Bar, lunch service and delivery varied very much. Often, you had to wait a very long time to even get the meny, and the same sallad was served completely different between 2 days. All in all, a nice hotel but in need of more structure.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. We loved everything about it and will be back. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, it had fantastic restaurants and pool area, the staff was so helpful and friendly. It had everything we needed and more .

We had an incredible time at Royal Apollonia. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, the staff is kind and welcoming and the hotel facilities are beyond satisfying. The continental breakfast is amazing, with a huge selection and high quality products. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the hotels private beach is a true gem. We would definitely go back!

The hotel is super nice, the sea view rooms are so worth to stay in. Breakfast is international with many options to choose from. The beach and swimming pool is well maintained and the furniture is really new and clean. Rooms are well furnished, the only need to put more effort to clean walkways between rooms and to pay more attention to the small details. All in all it was a great stay and I would recommend the hotel and will visit again for sure.

I recently stayed at the Royal Apollonia following surgery at the GMI. Paulina (the Operations Manager) was fantastic in ensuring the room allocated to me was appropriate for my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort at the hotel throughout my stay. In fact, all of the staff were wonderful in ensuring that I was well taken care of, in a friendly and very hospitable manner. Paulina really takes the time to get to know her guests and look after them hence the high number of very loyal repeat customers that I met at the hotel. Bus stop right at the hotel entry made commuting into town very easy & affordable.Beautiful seafront views from the superior Seaview room were wonderful to enjoy every day too. Overall a very nice hotel, situated beautifully by the sea, and with a nice pool and sea area. I booked a room with sea view which was very nice. Nice beds and good facilities. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a special egg station. The service was however a bit uneven. It all depended on who helped you. George - greeting at front, Yasser, John and the breakfast team were all solid solid and reliable. But at other times, especially in the bar (lunch á la carte on the veranda) and at reception, you could not always rely on the delivery and service. For example: I asked the day before to have a taxi booked for a certain time as I had an appointment. This was apparently forgotten, and by the time I was to departure, they called for taxi which arrived 20 min later. Also, in the Bar, lunch service and delivery varied very much. Often, you had to wait a very long time to even get the meny, and the same sallad was served completely different between 2 days. All in all, a nice hotel but in need of more structure.

I had a good stay at the Royal Apollonia. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff were generally polite and helpful, and the facilities, especially the pool area, were enjoyable. However, the pool beds could do with upgrading their comfort as they were rather worn and sagging which was not conducive for those of us who needed more stability for our backs.

Amazing breakfast buffet. Spacious room and bathroom. Very clean. Big pool and a nice private beach. They have very good restaurants. A couple of issues: the bathroom door in the room didn’t have a lock. The hotel room door doesn’t close easily. The sunbeds around the pool are big and comfortable, but they are black and become very hot under the sun. The housekeeping lady knocks on the door and directly enters the room. Also, during checkout, we were charged a 145€ bill at their restaurant which was not ours; but the receptionist at the front desk immediately solved the issue.

I loved the hotel but my only complaint was the food at breakfast was Luke warm Also the fried eggs were cold and the chef wouldn’t cook fresh for me I was told that “ eggs are there” Although we laughed at her sternness it isn’t what I expect from a five star and think hotel should make its mind up if it wants to be fully inclusive or b and b as too many rules and regulations for guests The towel card is a joke!!! I have stayed all over the world at top hotels and never been expected to prove I’m returning a towel

We arrived and welcomed with a refreshing bitter lemon drink.Painless check in and room was as per specs. Breakfast was great with a wide choice.
