Great stay! Rooms were spotless and smartly designed with everything you'd expect from an apartment hotel. I was only there for a quick overnight so didn't really get to check out the amenities. The only small challenge was long waits for elevators (only 2 for the whole building), but it was Pride week and therefore probably busier than usual. Definitely somewhere I'd stay again!

This property was an apartment with your own catering facilities if required. There was also a bar and restaurant facilities available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was modern and clean. Close to all local amenities. No Housekeeping which to me was perfect as I don't like people entering my room when I'm out... but they will enter and collect any rubbish if you leave out the door sign. There is also the option to ask for more bedding and clean towels. No parking but there are car parks close by where the car can be left securely. I used 'Native' and got a taxi to the hotel for £5. I will definitely be staying here again.

The reception on 9th floor had great city views from the sofas where you could enjoy a drink. Very impressed with the room in terms of modern facilities, clean and well kept. Had fridge, micro, hob, dishwasher and most things you would need. Bed was very comfortable and plenty space. Used the gym too which was ok for a quick workout while away. Central location next to team line at St Peter’s Square. Would recommend.

Amazing place! So convenient in the city centre. The room was perfect, the only thing is that shower was good but the fact it’s kind of open makes a bit messy at some point having a shower. However everything was perfect, the laundry room one of the best! Because is an apartment you feel so independent. The views from floor 18 and 9th were great!

Great location and value for money. The room was modern with comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen for a short break. We were very lucky to be upgraded and all the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The hotel bar and lounge area was lovely and a nice peaceful place to relax with a well stocked bar. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Manchester

Nice place and a great location. However, the check in process was incredibly inefficient and there aren't enough lifts for the number of people using the building. We walked in, queued for 10 mins to be told we then had to go upstairs to check in which then meant another 5 mins of waiting in line for the huge elevator queue. The toilet in the bathroom of our room also wasn't fitted properly and was tilted to one side.

Mostly a great property with really friendly staff and very attractive public areas – the place was also spotless and the gym, while very very small, was well equipped and everything worked perfectly. My main issue – this was not a minor one – was the very peculiar layout of the room. It was a big room but the double bed was pressed up against the wall which meant that you couldn’t manipulate the bedside lamp from the bed. Also, the entrance was really narrow and actually quite hard to get the suitcase through.

It was a lovely property, front door & reception were friendly. We had an issue with the safe which was dealt with straight away. Everything was clean, including the floor but when you walk barefoot, you can tell it just needed a bit more of a clean. All the utilities were modern. Lights were all using electronic pads. No issues with noise. We utilised the bar & pantry when needed. It is literally 2 mins walk to St Peter Square & the trams. 15min walk from Manchester Picadilly station. Amazing food recommendations by the person at the front door. Only issue we had was the property taking our money again after we'd already paid at booking as they hadn't received the money from Hotels.com . They looked into & refunded the money.

A really comfortable stay with all the welcome thoughtful touches needed. A kitchenette with SMEG hob, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, microwave fridge and everything you need, coffee pods and even proper milk in the fridge!!! Yes not Ghastly UHT! Everything seemed brand new. Super comfy beds and bedding, ultra modern tech for total control of air con and lighting, enough storage, free stable wifi. Even a laundry room! A shop next to the bar for convenience meals etc. This hotel was a really refreshing change from tired old rooms that are all the same - almost certainly designed by someone with extensive experience of hotels for business and pleasure, and someone who knows that the little things matter a lot. We saw loads of cleaning staff who were super polite and appeared far happier than your average cleaners in hotels, taking pride in their work and engaging with guests. The receptionist we first met was super efficient and friendly, bar staff were hard to distinguish from guests as sat using laptops and not uniformed or badged, but helpful when asked if they were staff who could serve us. Overall a great short stay super clean and comfy and close to many restaurants and bars and uni of course but also very quiet! Perfect.

A few little glitches which could easily be resolved but a lack of attention to detail means there are a number of snags which dropped a star for us: poor TV reception so most channels unavailable, leaking coffee machine, broken curtain rail, slightly dirty floors.

I've stayed here many times and usually have a great experience, but this occasions was a bit of a let down. I had a dirty towel, the door chain was missing, the shower tap had been crudely fixed with gaffer tape, the towel rail didn't heat up (despite my extensive troubleshooting) and there were no complementary biscuits in my room! I would have to reconsider accommodation in the future.

Third time staying here, a great base for a stay in the city centre. My only disappointment this time in what is usually a perfect stay is the wooden floors in the room hadn't been cleaned well, which is very unusual for the standards we usually get here.

I have stayed at the Wilde Aparthotel on a few occasions, however, this time, the room I was given was not really suitable for two people over 4 nights. The bed was against the wall making it difficult to get up at night and nowhere for water by the bed etc. There was 1 seat for the table in the room to eat. In the past I have always had great views from this hotel over Manchester, however, this time it was up against the office opposite meaning the curtains could not be opened and felt dark all the time. The room should be advertised as a single room.

Fantastic hotel. Our second visit with them and we upgraded to a City View room... worth every penny. Its only a shame that the sofa faces into the flat... i really just wanted to sit and admire the view!

We had a great time at Wilde Aparthotels Manchester. Beautiful room, had lots of room, a Nespresso machine and a lovely view out of the window. Loved that they had a recycling bin too and the milk was in glass bottles!

Smooth check in, room facilities were clean and well maintained, the city view was beautiful and loved the modern chic design of it. Got upgraded to a larger studio with city view upon check in so that was a treat!

The room was excellent. Kitchen are v well equipped. Nicely decorated. Attention to detail v good. Lots of plug sockets! Huge bed! Staff were super attentive & bar/lounge area on the 9th floor is lovely and v nice communal area to relax and have a drink (and not restricted by early bar closing times)

Excellent location, transport links and quality for money. My only complaint is that the bed was made up of two single mattresses that had been pushed together and covered with a double fitted sheet. This made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. It’s a shame, as everything else was great.

A shop next to the bar for convenience meals etc. This hotel was a really refreshing change from tired old rooms that are all the same - almost certainly designed by someone with extensive experience of hotels for business and pleasure, and someone who knows that the little things matter a lot. We saw loads of cleaning staff who were super polite and appeared far happier than your average cleaners in hotels, taking pride in their work and engaging with guests. The receptionist we first met was super efficient and friendly, bar staff were hard to distinguish from guests as sat using laptops and not uniformed or badged, but helpful when asked if they were staff who could serve us. Overall a great short stay super clean and comfy and close to many restaurants and bars and uni of course but also very quiet! Perfect.

Horrible check in experience. We arrived at the hotel at 11am and was told the rooms are not ready for check in yet. Left the luggages at the hotel and went on the explore the city. When we got back at 10pm, we were told that the hotel is overbooked and they ran out of rooms. We are not able to check in and only then the staff started looking for other hotel rooms in the city. After almost one hour the staff managed to book us a hotel room at another hotel. Our booking is for 2 nights and we were asked to move back to Wilde for the 2nd night. It was a birthday trip and we ended up spending the midnight at the hotel reception, enraged and not knowing if we would find a place to sleep that night. They told us they will arrange a taxi for us to check in again the next morning -- but it took them 30mins to "try to" arrange a taxi from the relocated hotel back to Wilde -- we ended up walking back with our luggage. It was a 10mins walk. We ended up arriving late at our lunch booking because of the extra 40mins hassles. Hotel room is spacious and clean but this experience messed up this birthday trip. Unfortunate I would think twice to stay at Wolde again.

When we first arrived, there were a few issues with the room (shower drain overflowed and the water temperature wouldn't stay constant). The next day we told the guy at the front desk was friendly and said he'd send someone up while we were out and provide new towels (we had to use a few to clean up the water). When we got back, nothing had changed. However, that night, we stopped by the 9th floor area and met the night receptionist Rachal A. She was very warm and friendly and asked if all was well so far. We told her, and sure enough, someone was sent up the next day and the shower drain issue had been fixed and new supplies provided. Now that the main issue was resolved, each day we were there (an 11 day stay), our room and the hotel started to feel more and more like our home base and a place of comfort. Overall, I'd give this place about 4.5/5 stars, but Rachel A brings that up to a full 5/5. We had many interactions with her in the 9th floor reception/lounge area at night (a great place to hangout actually) during our stay. She truly is a treasure that makes people feel valued, welcome, and is damn good at her job. We WOULD definitely stay here again and you really can't beat its great location.

The hotel suite was really nice with a separate bedroom, with a kitchen and living area. This was nice to sit and relax in. The bed was comfy. The room and decent views of Manchester and was perfect for a few day. The bar and the gym was good, nice to sit at to get a drink or two before or after going out. The only negative side was after making sure we paid for a late check out at 2, so we could relax a bit before leaving was interrupted by loud banging at the door. We were packed and ready to go at any time, so when I answered the door they asked if I was not leaving yet, and that they hadn’t told her. Not really an issue but it wasn’t a very pleasant ending to a nice trip. Bumped into her again 20 minutes before checkout and she said ah now I can go clean. Again not very friendly, only negative aspect of the stay.

Check in was the worst experience of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Staff milling around, loads of people waiting to check in. No acknowledgement. Promised a double, got to room and it was a twin. Still staff not helpful or resolving of the issue. Asked to wait and wait and wait. It took over an hour and a half from start of check in to actually getting in the room. It was Manchester Marathon weekend and they were ill prepared. Not all bad though. Knight in shining customer service armour Carl (team lead) took our complaint on board, apologised and resolved our concerns. He refunded us a nights's stay and gave us prosecco and wine on the house and got us the double room we were promised. I understand it was a challenging day but if it weren't for Carl, I would have given this place no stars. He should be running the place and deserves to be recognised for it.

Hotel charged my card for my stay after I had already paid through Hotels.com, check in was a bit hectic at night time as the reception had set up in the middle of the hotel bar, they also seemed to think we had already checked in. Also tried to charge me the tax twice, spoke to managment the next day but they didnt seem to care to much. Hotel was really nice and in a good location though, shame about the issues.

My son and I spent 3 nights at Wilde hotel, with St. Peter's tram stop next to the building, it was a cinch getting to Old Trafford. Walking distance to everything. Loved the modern appliances and eco-saving features. Hotel very clean and convenient.

Lovely apartment. Decent space, delicious coffee pods (all 4). Complimentary ice lollies in reception.. also delicious. Complimentary bottles of water and sparkling. Great location for access to St Peters Square tram for Old Trafford. Would recommend 10x over.

Excellent stay for 2 nights while in the city for the Manchester Marathon. Great location next to St. Peter’s Square, ideal for trams to Old Trafford area. Accommodation was very comfortable, bedroom with 2 single beds and a separate kitchen/living area - great City View from the 13th floor. Windows don’t open so felt a little warm until we managed to work out the air conditioning system. Small shower, no bath. Kitchen well stocked with crockery. Recommend for anyone doing the marathon next year.

My sister and I came here after having a overnight stay here in April. We absolutely love the place. We were in Manchester for a theatre trip so very convenient location. Everything about the place is top notch. Lovely comfortable beds bright and airy rooms fantastic views of the city. Loved the breakfast as well. Really helpful friendly staff. Hope to visit again soon

It was our second time visiting and we absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful both times we visited. It’s a great location and I would definitely recommend for the view!! We really enjoyed all the complementary items such as espresso, milk, teas, snack and water! Usually hotels try to charge you for such things but this is a very nice touch. Beds are very very comfortable, honestly I couldn’t recommend it any more. I promise you, anyone would enjoy staying here. Thank you to all the staff again for making this trip so special

We were very lucky to be upgraded and all the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The hotel bar and lounge area was lovely and a nice peaceful place to relax with a well stocked bar. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Manchester

The room was excellent. Kitchen are v well equipped. Nicely decorated. Attention to detail v good. Lots of plug sockets! Huge bed! Staff were super attentive & bar/lounge area on the 9th floor is lovely and v nice communal area to relax and have a drink (and not restricted by early bar closing times)

The hotel was well located， stone throw away from Manchester City centre. Convenient and easy to find. Receptionists Nathan was very helpful and nice. Room is nicely set up with stove, coffee machine, fridge, microwave and even dishwasher. The only downside is that the bed was made with 2 single mattresses so wasn’t nice to sleep in.

Check in was busy but efficient. The room was spacious and excellent air con, black out blinds and shower. The kitchen area was a useful addition to the usual hotel room. The only issue I had was that I couldn't reach the top shelf of the wall cupboards and putting things in the microwave was tri by, again because it was wall mounted. I ended up standing on a chair which wasn't ideal. The lighting was excellent and the table and chair was good for doing some work. The TV was a disappointment. The remote only worked after you pressed the button a couple of times and no signal for casting from my phone. On the welcome page it offers casting but when pressed, it said no signal. Considering the standard of the room facilities, I feel the TV let it down. On the whole, a fabulous aparthotel in an excellent location and I would stay again.

Brilliant stay at Wilde apartments again. We were upgraded to a one bed apartment which was a nice surprise. The location is excellent and you can easily travel across Manchester by tram from St Peter’s Square.
