We stayed at Days Inn in Sarnia one night in mid-May 2026. The hotel is nice and it looks well maintained. One knock down is that if your room is on the first floor (like ours) you must pass by the laundry room and utility room, which is not very welcoming... The room was clean and comfortable. It had a door leading outside, where there were some picnic tables with a view towards the harbor, which was nice. Staff was all right I guess, didn't have much interaction, check in, check out, that was it. There is free parking, and breakfast is included. Breakfast is adequate, not great. There's an Irish pub next door. Location is not that great, it's bit isolated, you'd need to drive to go downtown. All in all a good place to stay the night.

We were looking for a room to travel from Niagara Falls to Mackinac Island which was about 3 hours away. We probably should have stayed on the USA side where there were better options. This was a motel version. There were heavy rains two nights prior so I understand the water in the room and when I asked for towels to put by the A/C with water on the floor I was provided some old rags with holes. The window was cracked all the way down that should have been replaced. It did not look like a new crack. The breakfast was ok - was nice to have a little something. The back door of the room went to a parking area (motel type) which was nice to have the car right there but the light came in through the door at night (not sealed well). This place needs to improve their maintenance of the facility. It was ok for one night but I wasn't comfortable.

Was not notified that NO ELEVATOR to the 2nd floor where the only suite are located, this was an issue for me and my wife both being 82 years old with mobility issues. No help or assistance was offer with our logages or ourself. Breakfash staff did not do there job of needed claning tables nor counters nor restocking of coffee or juices. Desk staff unattentive and unable to recommend local restaurents or activities, did not care about the extreme slow wifi or tv network availlability.
