Hotel Holland House Old Town

Great property right on the long market pedestrian area. Property being an older historic building has no AC, which we were advised upfront. Appreciate the hotel had a fan in the closet as a room amenity. Kudos for that!

Absolutely superb location, right in the middle of the old town. Can be a little noisy at night but the double glazing is brilliant and keeps the noise out. There is no air-conditioning but it was not needed even when 30 degrees outside. Well appointed rooms and very helpful staff. Would certainly stay here again.

I do not know how this hotel is 4 *? Outdated rooms, no AC, old TVS, cheap shampoo and gel “in one”… No lotion at all. Only one water for the room. We were very disappointed with this hotel especially for the price. If we could we would want a refund because this was such a rip off. Paid premium but the hotel deserves 2 stars, maybe 3 on a good day. Also, no true luggage storage - you can just “leave” them in a hallway! No tags, nothing. Anyone can come and take it. We will never again stay at this place. Many better options around (unfortunately it was sold out for that date). Lesson learned.

Hissen fungerade inte under hela vistelsen vilket resulterade i att vi fick bära barnvagnen 4 trappor flera gånger om dagen. Man skyllde på att hissen hade gått sönder dagen innan vår ankomst men min känsla är att den hade varit sönder länge och det fanns ingen intention att reparera den. Dessutom var det iskallt på rummen pga att värmen var avstängd trots en utomhustemperatur på 4-5 grader nattetid. Det pågick en filminspelning på gatan utanför hotellet vilket resulterade i begränsningar i hur vi kunde komma och gå till/från hotellet vilket inte är okej för mig som gäst. Hotellet är inte lämpligt för familjer med barnvagn, personer i rullstol eller med rullator samt personer som har svårt att gå i trappor.

Ett bra läge, stora bra rum. Hårda sängar som knakar när du vänder dig. Annars rent och snyggt. Tyvärr ingen klimatanläggning och våra fönster låg mot gatan där solen låg på så det var väldigt varmt i rummet. Ännu sämre var att det ligger ett diskotek tvärs över gatan vilket bidrog till ett väldans oväsen på nätterna. Nu var vi över midsommar så jag antar det bidrog till allt det stökiga.

Hotel is on a busy street. Our room was large with a large bathroom and super shower. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. Room was dusty and was never cleaned for the 3 nights that we stayed. Housekeeping would replenish the towels & supplies. The street noise did not bother us.

Very nice, old tradional building. Modern bathroom. Fast internet. Reasonable minibar.TV needs an updrade..but thats all.

Etter å ha besøkt dette hotellet gjentatte ganger opp gjennom årene, og alltid vært fornøyd, var besøket denne gang en opplevelse av elendig service, svakt renhold og rett og slett ett hotell i forfall. Istedet for tidligere, der hotellet har servert en god og innholdsrik buffe, var det denne gangen en meny sammensatt av 3 forskjellige kombinasjoner. I seg selv var dette ok, men når vi ønsket å bestille en ekstra kopp kaffe fikk vi beskjed om å betale for denne. Det var kun en kopp kaffe som gjaldt og som var inkludert i prisen. Renholdet på rommet var til de grader elendig. Spindelvev flere steder i taket, samt store lodotter under sengene, samt generelt svakt renhold på lister og i hjørner. Toalettskålen var sprukket, limt sammen, og så ikke akkurat hygienisk ut. Det hele toppet seg da vi ble beskylt for å røyke på rommet, og de ønsket et gebyr på 250 zloty. I vårt følge er det selvfølgelig ingen som røyker, og det kan virke spekulativt å be om dette. Når man i tillegg blir møtt av en resepsjonist som mer eller mindre ler beskyldningene bort, og opptrer som sur og irritabel, og ikke viser seg å være noen form for imøtekommende, viser dette at hotellet ikke tar service på noen for form alvor. Min anbefaling blir derfor å styre unna dette hotellet.

Housekeeping service very limited, floor dusty. Large comfortable room with chairs. Great location. We did not mind the noisy street. Needs better lighting especially in the bathroom.

The location was absolutely perfect, and we really loved the design and layout of the hotel. It was incredibly warm and cozy, which is essential for a winter stay. The staff were very sweet and helpful throughout our visit. My only small suggestion would be to pay a bit more attention to cleanliness; however, overall, everything was wonderful. We had a great stay

Mycket dammigt golv. Kändes som att städningen gått i all hast.

Fantastiskt läge, rummet var väldigt bra. Städningen var ok dock lite smuts i badrummet. Det enda vi kunde önska oss mer var lite mer temperaturkontroll alt. Ljudisolering mot gatan. Personalen var trevligt och hotellet var till bra pris

Hotellet var ganska rent, bra läget men personalen i restaurangen var otrevlig dessutom internet var ganska långsamt.

Läge, läge, läge. Bästa läge i Gdansk. Jättefina rum, kunde ha varit bättre städat på golvet i rummet. Badrummet var städat och fräscht. Trevlig personal i receptionen. Saknade färdigt kaffe att hämta på morgonen, fanns dock pulverkaffe på rummet.

Very spacious and comfortable. Right on the town square, so some might find it loud in the evenings, but we enjoyed the lively atmosphere.

Veldig fint hotell, stort rom og bad, behagelige senger ( vi hadde tre enkelt senger). Hyggelige og hjelpsom ansatte, veldeg sentral i Gdansk, eit steinkast unna det meste. Einaste minus var mykje lyd fra gate om natta men når vi lukket igjen alle vinduer var det ganske så roleg

In the middle of everything! Old hotel, big rooms with old furniture and old technology. Squeaky beds, not so great shower equipment. But the location is great, if You are looking for pubs, this is Your place to stay.

Bra läge mitt på Dluga targ, härligt att njuta av folklivet från fönstret! Stort rum och trevligt med badkar. Men mörk och trist inredning. Det största problemet var dock sömnkomforten. Stenhård säng och tunn och sladdrig kudde. Bad om en extra kudde efter första natten, men det hjälpte inte mycket. Sov verkligen inte gott. Borde klassas som trestjärnigt istället för fyrstjärnigt hotell.

Beautiful room and very helpful staff. The breakfast is wonderful as you get to pick any item that you would like on the menu downstairs every morning. The wait stuff is attentive. My only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom isn’t really nonexistent. I had to do my make up in front of the window with a hand mirror for light.

A bit outdated room with a crackling bed. Needs an upgrade. The location was 11/10 though.

Litt kommunikasjonsproblemer i restauranten. Og frokosten ikke av de bedre. Rommet var litt kaldt men det er tross alt en gammel bygning. Plasseringen er det beste med dette hotellet. Midt i gammelbyen.

Incredibly noisy. The room was shaking at 2:30AM from nearby music. When asked to do something about the music or change room the hotel refused to do anything. Don't stay here.

The room we had on the 4th floor was large and quiet with a separate bathroom. He fixed everything you asked for, thank you Adam. Don't miss the museum about World War II! Can definitely recommend this hotel!

Har vært her før,men aldri igjen.Helt mangel på service og gammelt og slitt. alt for dyrt til den tilstanden og servicen der.Siste frokosten kunne de to som var på jobb der ikke lage kaffe,er det mulig? Hadde ikke syltetøy eller noe annet pålegg utenom egg,ost og skinke.Vitket som alle som serverte der var på opplæring,hadde ikke peiling på service iallefall.

Jag och min vän hade en toppenvistelse på Holland House. Har ingenting att klaga på – Läget var super, servicen jättebra och standarden på rummet var också rätt hög. Stort plus för att vi kunde lämna våra väskor på hotellet efter att vi checkat ut (och att receptionisten tog personligen hand om dem) och att vi kunde låna loungen vid receptionen för att samla lite energi och ladda våra mobiler, även flera timmar efter utcheckningen. För under 300 kr per person för en natt var boendet verkligen över förväntan!

We were only there one night. Great location. The hotel is not well light outside.

The location was very convenient and central to all landmarks, with lots of restaurants around. The room was great, except that the window was facing the Long Square which was pretty noisy even at 12 midnight. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Close to all amenities excellent location

The hotel was in a very central location right in the heart of the old town. It was a lovely traditional hotel and the room was very spacious with everything you could need. We had an evening meal in their restaurant and which was really nice. I would recommend this hotel.

The location was honestly excellent with very easy access to everything. The food was great and very tasty. The only downsides were that the mattress was quite firm and caused some back discomfort, and the duvet was thin and small. Also, there was no toothbrush provided in the room. Overall, it was a good experience

Utroligt charmerende hotel i absolut centrum. Stilfuldt værelse og badeværelse med kar og god plads. Vi havde bestilt og betalt morgenmad i den tro at der var buffet. Da det ikke var tilfældet, fik vi pengene tilbage uden vrøvl. Vi spiste på hotellet en enkelt aften, og fik lækker mad.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was very good. Check in and check out was easy. Had a room on the 4th floor in the back so it was quiet.
