Belambra Clubs Port Camargue - Les Salins

I would not recommend this hotel if you travel from the UK like me and my family. It's basically and full/half board French speaking resort that has decided to list rooms/apartments only with basics like being cleaned (and we stayed for 10 days). I was willing to pay or upgrade but the managment onsite were not helpful. When I challenged the cleaning issue, they said we are not a hotel, which wasn't a great response as the listing does not include any of these exceptions to a basic service. The pool is great, the restaurants are a buffet for the people who booked the package and you can opt to pay over the odds for the buffet, or go to a local restaurant for about the same amount. The entertainment looks great if you are French speaking. The apartments were scruffy and not well thought out, under the bunk beds there were piles of insects and we had to go out and buy cleaning equipment to keep it clean during our stay. The beds had blood stains on from a previous occupants and overall very disappointed.

We were very happy from the beginning until the end of our stay in this Club. All the facilities were great and the location is fantastic. Specially with children lots to do in the club and nearby. Many thanks and special recognition to all the staf that works at Belambra. They're all very kind, they were very helpful at all times to attend to our special needs. The only minus point is beach nearby but luckily they have lovely swimming pools to refresh every day. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for making the effort to speak Spanish. Congratulations to all of you! Looking forward to be back with the family again.

We had a wonderful time in May 2025 with our three boys ages 11, 9 and 7. The club is beautiful and well maintained. Pools were perfect for our boys (4 pools in total if you count the kiddies pool separately). We went to the buffet for breakfast and dinner every day. There was lots of variety but not so much that it was overwhelming. Breakfast included hot drinks and juice. Dinner included wine (self service) and water (still and sparkling). There are two tennis courts, football pitch/basketball court, three table tennis tables and adventure playground to keep the kids entertained. All equipment can be borrowed from reception. We flew into Nimes airport which is abut 40 minutes away. You can get a shuttle bus to/from the airport into Nimes centre and then a bus to/from Le Grau-Du-Roi or the hotel can book a taxi transfer (which is about €130) if you phone them to book before you arrive. We were pretty much the only English family in the resort. Mainly French families staying there. Most of the staff speak fantastic English however in the local area it was a struggle with communicating as not a super touristy place for English. That being said, we managed at shops and restaurants and used Google translate when needed! Our room was nice and comfortable. Compact but enough space. Stairs to upstairs was quite steep and narrow and could have done with a hand rail. We honestly had the best time and would 100% recommend to families or anyone wanting to stay in this part of France.

What a great holiday resort! The rooms bare clean, and the outdoor spaces also highly maintained. The resort has three separate pools which are all clean and comfortable. There are lots of activities to participate in, I particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics! The food was delicious and reasonably priced, no need to search for a restaurant! We hired bikes on site and cycled easily to Aigues-Mortes Mort for the morning. Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved it, didn’t want to leave and will return!

Very nice location and close to the beach. Didn’t realize they have trolley in the parking lot until our second day. No elevator but the building has 2 floors.
