Stayed 1 night

Our stay at The Ridge by Tiny Away in Daylesford was frustrating from start to finish. Communication was poor throughout - we received no booking confirmation until I chased it up, and only found out one hour before check-in that the heater was broken, during a freezing weekend. We were offered no suitable alternative or support. To make matters worse, we paid 300 for one night, only to see the same night listed online for 100 (so they hadn;t even blocked out our stay, causing stress we weren't booked in). The property wasn’t as described, and customer service after the stay was appalling - slow responses, repeated spam-like messages, and an unwillingness to offer a fair resolution. The resolution offered didn't come close to making up for a uncomfortably cold, sleepless night and poor treatment. We’ve stayed in several tiny homes before - this was by far the worst value and most frustrating experience.

Lovely little getaway for the evening. Jesse was a lovely host, prompt reply and very straight forward with instructions. I loved sitting by the fire and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Definitely will come back again!

Incredible storms overnight but safe and sound in the Tiny House. Could have done with a heater as very cold in the morning.

Good experience living in a tiny house, investigating all advantages and disadvantages of such type of house. Was cold overnight as not enough power in there and no hot water sometimes. Probably would be better feelings at summer time. Generally was good experience anyway. Nature and the view around are beautiful. Thank you.

It was great to experience a sustainable off the grid property. However, the solar system was insufficient. Even though we only used the lights on the first night, by the second morning the electric system stopped working meaning darkness on the second night, freezing cold showers as the water heater could not kick in and the fan inside the toilet stopped. The computable toilet was also not the best system. A bit disappointing really.
