Nice location in the city centre. A very nice breakfast buffet - when the staff found time to refill… Understaffing big time. Tricky to get to the rooms if not using the slow and often occupied elevator. Tricky staircase too. Many steps, which was fine for us, but not very accessible when using strollers, wheel chairs or travelling with big suitcases. Over all, a good stay.

Centraal gelegen hotel, ideaal om de oude stad en universiteit te verkennen. Een oud karaktervol gebouw, mijn kamer had wel deels een laag plafond, en ondanks de verwarming niet aanstond, was het zo warm dat ik de airco heb gebruikt, al was het buiten niet zo warm. Lekkere mocktail en goed eten.

The hotel is located in the very centre of Tartu. There are lots of restaurants and coffees neaby. The breakfast was superb, one of the best we have had for a long time. The hotel has an own parking lot.

Nice retro hotel close to main square. Only issue the entrance way is very dsrk when coming from sunny outside my husband missed the last step and fell. Perhaps you could put reflective tape on the top and bottom step. Partly his fault as well he had sun glasses on. Everyting was great lovley breakfast even beer and Gelato on offer.

At first, my curtains didn’t work so I got a new room immediately. Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel was quiet and there was AC in every room. A bit old AC, but it was very welcome during the hot days. The hotel has cute and historic atmosphere going on. Breakfast was lacking a bit but it was ok.

Old building with tired interior. Stains in the carpet, otherwise clean. The room was opposite to an extremely noisy bar where the heavy partying and music prevented sleeping until 6am. Poor sound insulation towards other rooms as well. Staff was impolite, didn’t say hello or respond to greetings. Had to pay extra at the hotel for a third bed even if the reservation was for three persons and the room was said to be big enough for four persons. Overall very bad experience and poor service. Can’t recommend.

The hotel is just outside the main shopping area, but within east waling distance. Transport links are within a 15-20 minute walk from the bus or train stations. The hotel bedroom was spacious, with enough storage for clothing. The amenities within the room, were good including the size of the television and a good coffee making machine. The queen size bed was a little soft for my liking, but still comfortable for a 2 night stay. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over the bath, which was a bonus as some rooms only have a shower. One problem we did have within the bathroom was a faint smelling odour coming from the drain. The hotel did a very good selection of food at breakfast, ranging from continental cold meats, cheeses to cooked eggs, sausage, bacon and mushrooms. There was also a good selection of breads as well as pastries, along with hot and cold drinks. Overall a very pleasant stay and would use the hotel again if visiting Tartu.

Jeg valgte dette hotellet pga strategisk beliggenhet. Jeg opplevde at på rommet som jeg ble utdelt var mye støy fra sentralt ventilasjonssystemet. Hyggelige ansatte var forståelsesfull og ga meg et annet rom. Dessverre var det samme problemet der også. Det var kontinuerlig støy fra ventilasjonssystemet. Jeg følte meg ikke helt komfortabelt pga det. Det lå ørepropper på nattbordet. Men jeg hadde mine egne, så jeg brukte disse mens jeg sovet. Unntatt dette var alt annet suverent: veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom personell, fin beliggenhet, god frokost. Kanskje det var kun jeg som reagerte på støy, men jeg er glad at jeg var der kun en natt.

Great location right in the center of downtown. We stayed during a weeknight so we didn’t experience the noise from bars that other reviews mentioned. The hotel has a nice design, helpful staff, and a very nice breakfast.

Very nice stay, only for one night but convenient location. Slightly aging building but not bad at all, I probably would not have noticed much apart from the notice in the room! Breakfast was excellent, good combination of European and American style, with automatic cappuccino maker.
