Decor wonderful, staff excellent, gym was amazing - best gym I've been to in ages! Spa also nice, 5 different temperature saunas/hot rooms, and the massage was top notch, thoroughly enjoyable - perfect pressure all the way through. Found breakfast a bit on the formal side for my taste - i've never had a pianist play at breakfast before!!!

Alt av resturanter var fullbooket, baren var full. Spaet var full. Dårlig massasje, har hatt massasje der før å alltid fornøyd med frnne gangen var alt veldig dårlig. Med tanke på at man betaler 6000 for et rom å 2000 for en massasje. Var det ikke verdt pengene. Måtte dra å finne annen resturant å var så vidt på hotellet

Flott hotell, men opplevelsen står ikke i forhold til den høye prisen. Ok rom, men ikke vesentlig bedre enn andre hoteller med lavere pris. Meget behagelig atmosfære i frokostsalen og god mat. Behagelig å kunne parkere utenfor og at bilen ble tatt hånd om. Generelt sett behagelig atmosfære på hotellet.

Britannia hotel really stands up to it’s vision. 5 stars and member of leading hotels of the world. The 3(!) restaurants in the hotel, are all in premium quality. Rooms are without remarks, and clean to perfection. The spa is amazing, with every sauna and pool thinkable. Staff are one of a kind, with amazing knowledge and experience. Tip: try the Britannia bar! The staff have outstanding knowledge of both drinks on the menu, but also outside of the menu. Fun stories about the drinks also follows. Would really recommend, it’s worth the prices!

Meget bra fellesområder og selve soverommet. God mat. Skal sies at det var en vesentlig flekk i front av WC. Manglet vinglass aå måtte drikke fra proseccoglass. Ble fikset etter roomservice ettermiddagen, men nye vinglasset var skadet ved bunnen (liten glassbit manglet).

Rommet framsto som rent og ryddig, men lite allergivennlig , våknet med tett nese.Ingen fordel med vegg til veggteppe inne på rommet. Stusset noe over at personalet var inne på rommet like etter at vi forlot rommet etter cirka 2 timer. Her hadde vi lagt igjen bankkort, da vi trodde at rommet var klargjort for oss. Likeså hadde personal vært inne på badet. Ikke bra. Veldig god og enkel frokost. God service i barområde. På badet var det noe tungt å trykke på knappene for å skylle ned, ikke bra for de med nedsatt kraft i fingre. Bra lysforhold inne på bad, og ikke minst bra med sminkespeil. Ikke den beste og komfortable sengen, men for en natt ok.

Nydelige rom. Men renholdet manglet litt. Var litt hår i vasken osv. det ødela ikke helheten. Og vi kunne sikkert sagt ifra, men var så lite at vi lot ikke dette ødelegge. Ellers en meget fin opplevelse

This was our second time staying at the Britannia, and we enjoy the hotel very much. The service is top-notch and the hotel is located very convenient to shopping and dining. Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone. Our main complaint, though, was the Wifi, or lack of Wifi, on the 6th floor. For 3 days we struggled to get a poor Wifi signal and failed. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that "we're having problems with the Wifi on the 6th floor. Really?? At the room prices charged, the Wifi should be lightning quick and always available. I've had better Wifi at a small-town Holiday Inn in the U.S. The Britannia should have an IT staff available 24/7 to fix any Wifi issues at the prices that you charge. Come on, you can do better than that!

Very large property and completely renovated. Large pillows nice decorative piece but useless to sleep over as too hard and oversized. Lighting schematic a little too complicated (part of renovation) I’m guessing and could not figure out how to switch off bathroom lights.

Flott rom, veldig god seng, dyne og pute. Endelig et hotellrom med teknisk løsning som fungerte utmerket - litt lys når døren åpnes så man ser hvor nøkkelkortet skal plasseres, og absolutt alle lys slukkes med kun en knapp ved nattbordet. Gode produkter på badet. Eneste minus på rommet må være hånddukene, som er akkurat de samme tynne kjipe som på alle 3 og 4* hotell - ikke sånne tykke gode man forventer på et 5* hotell. Frokosten var det jeg virkelig gledet meg til, men dessverre en skuffelse. Først lag ventetid for å bli vist til et bord. Så en kokk som svarte «det har vi ikke» når jeg forsøkte å bestille glutenfri egg Benedicte. Ikke et beklager, ikke et forslag om noe annet, bare det har vi ikke… første gang jeg har opplevd et hotell som serverer dette at de ikke kan servere det glutenfritt - er jo bare å bytte ut brødet.. Fantastisk opphold. Vi hadde en del ønsker m.h.t. etasje og hvor rommene skulle være i etasjen. Alle våre ønsker ble innfridd. Nydelig frokost og fantastisk julebord om kvelden. Underholdningen var også i en særklasse. Utmerket service fra vi sjekket inn til vi dro neste dag.

The attention to details in terms of service and hospitality really made us feel special. we had a deluxe room for 2 nights with breakfast included & we can not fault anything about these. The room was spacious & beautifully furnished with high quality pieces. The breakfast catered for all dietary requirements. The location was ideal. We cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

Superb staff. Pleasant . Professional . Go out of their way to anticipate how they can help create a great experience for you . Excellent breakfast in stunning dining room. Beautiful rooms. We loved our stay at Britannia. The staff, from the Concierges, Front desk staff, waitstaff in the Bar were very friendly, helpful and efficient. (Let’s not forget housekeeping). Hotel is also within walking distance of some of the major attractions.

This hotel is beyond the expectations. The luxury, comfort, spa, dining options, breakfast is a pure indulgence. Beautifully decorated, heated marble floors in bathrooms, excellent quality of bedding. Fantastic location, easy to walk everywhere! We certainly will be back. We did not even want to leave the hotel during the day due to being so nice and comfortable to stay at.

This was our second time staying at the Britannia, and we enjoy the hotel very much. The service is top-notch and the hotel is located very convenient to shopping and dining. Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone. Our main complaint, though, was the Wifi, or lack of Wifi, on the 6th floor. For 3 days we struggled to get a poor Wifi signal and failed. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that "we're having problems with the Wifi on the 6th floor. Really?? At the room prices charged, the Wifi should be lightning quick and always available. I've had better Wifi at a small-town Holiday Inn in the U.S. The Britannia should have an IT staff available 24/7 to fix any Wifi issues at the prices that you charge. Come on, you can do better than that!

The breakfast buffet could have been better. The cinnamon buns were dry. The cheese board was boring. The coffee was warm but not hot. The quality of the ingredients was without exception. The execution can improve. I have to admit I am a bit jaded. All other aspects of the hotel were excellent.

Flott rom, veldig god seng, dyne og pute. Endelig et hotellrom med teknisk løsning som fungerte utmerket - litt lys når døren åpnes så man ser hvor nøkkelkortet skal plasseres, og absolutt alle lys slukkes med kun en knapp ved nattbordet. Gode produkter på badet. Eneste minus på rommet må være hånddukene, som er akkurat de samme tynne kjipe som på alle 3 og 4* hotell - ikke sånne tykke gode man forventer på et 5* hotell. Frokosten var det jeg virkelig gledet meg til, men dessverre en skuffelse. Først lag ventetid for å bli vist til et bord. Så en kokk som svarte «det har vi ikke» når jeg forsøkte å bestille glutenfri egg Benedicte. Ikke et beklager, ikke et forslag om noe annet, bare det har vi ikke… første gang jeg har opplevd et hotell som serverer dette at de ikke kan servere det glutenfritt - er jo bare å bytte ut brødet.. This is truly a beautiful hotel. Appointments are exquisite and the staff is the most friendly and helpful I have encountered in years. Room was very nice with incredible extra touches such as heated floor in the bathroom. I cannot recommend Britannia highly enough.
