It was nice and quiet. We had to switch rooms due to an air conditioner leaking but it was handled quickly and smoothly. No elevator working but it was ok for us.

The front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was adequate. The facilities are looking very worn down. Some furniture in our room is in need of replacement. Did not like the style of the rooms. At time of booking, I did not realize the door of our individual room was going to be an exterior door. Our children enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool. They wanted to play some of the video games in the arcade, but it was closed during our stay.

The elevator wasn't working which made it very hard on my wife up and down the stairs . The whole place just needed a remodel outside and in.

Pool, entertainment for children, nice restaurant close, breakfast good. The hotel is very dated, but has some updates. Lots of outdoor bugs.

I love the hot tub in the room, 24 hour coffee service. The arcade is a nice touch. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Ok, The hotel was quiet, room and bathroom spacious and the breakfast was 1st rate. The downsides are that the doors are outside, we had trouble with the reservation and the pool and hot tub were seasonal and closed. Overall a good experience and well worth the money.

I wish there was also an indoor pool, and I wish the facilities were slightly updated for the price, but it was a very nice and relaxing stay and everyone was very nice.

I liked the pool area for the kids.

We left and went to the game. The property was not clean. We returned to the room around 11PM after the game, we found that it had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom was dirty, and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed, even after spraying the sheets with Lysol. Because of this, we decided to leave at 1 AM. The experience was disappointing and made it impossible to enjoy. Plus The front desk staff was friendly and nice.

I've stayed at this property 1-2 times per year for the past few years for proximity to family when visiting. The latest stay was the last I will have unless a major renovation & change of owners occurs. I went through 3 rooms before finding one that didn't smell mildewy/musty. I was told that section of the building had sustained a water leak not long ago but had been fixed. The first room had a black tinge on the ceiling and overwhelming mildew smell. I went to the front desk and asked for another room. The clerk met me at the second room, which smelled equally as bad but lacked the black substance on the ceiling- also a no, we went on to the third room in a different part of the building. Room 3 was decently clean - it was being cleaned as we looked at the room to see if it was in better condition- with lots still missed from the 2 person cleaning team. Towels and washcloths were still very damp (way beyond humidity), appearing to not have been fully dried before returning them to a room. I returned with towels in tow to the front desk, to get dry towels. The clerk at the counter was helpful, polite and gracious- you could tell she was rather embarrassed for all the issues.

One of the beds stank like pee, and the shower was moldy. They had no clean towels. For over a hundred dollars, I'm furious.

Staff was friendly and rooms looked clean, but the whole place--lobby and room-- reeked of an odor that was very musty. It was so bad I had trouble sleeping as it sent my allegeries into overdrive.

The first room had bugs all in it and smelled like they tried to cover something up with some sort of deodorant that was so strong I started getting nauseous. The 2nd room they moved us to had blood stains all over the mattress cover. We didn’t stay and as we left they had a sewer company working on the room next door. Very disappointed. Should have read the reviews better.

Stayed 3 nights. Hot breakfast was decent (meat, eggs, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own fresh waffles, and all the normal cereals and juices), and the coffee was good. Everyone was super friendly, and helpful whenever we needed something. Room was in good shape, and nice and clean, with an AC unit that was controllable to the temperature we wanted. Shower had good, hot water, and plenty of water pressure. Pool was outside, and rather small, but very clean, and we were glad it was there. We went swimming on Friday evening, expected the pool to be crowded, but we had it to ourselves! And the common areas (even outside) were clean enough to walk barefoot to the pool, though we didn't - we brought shower shoes with us. Other than one light bulb in one 2-bulb lamp being out, the only sign of poor maintenance was the desk chair - it had Naugahyde peeling off, but it was still somewhat comfortable (I guess desk chairs may be the last items on the upgrade list!). The bed was definitely "firm" which is good for me, but my wife likes a slightly softer bed, so she had a bit less comfortable sleep than I did. The grounds and facility seemed well-kept and in good shape. We did not use the weight room, but it was there. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely stay there again. It's set up like a motel (parking right by your room door), but FEELS like a Hotel. I would rate it at 9 or 9.5 out of 10.

Walked in ac was on it was 25 degrees outside. Gap under door allowed cold air to blow in. Half the lights worked. Ones that did flickered on and off. Room never warmed up to comfortable temp. Bedding very lightweight. Bed felt like you were going to roll off one side. Smoke detector was opened no batteries in it. Reported it but they didnt do anything about it. When checking in employee seemed annoyed about having to check us in. Check out employee was very friendly.

Really liked the big jacuzzi tub

As a frequent guest, we love this property! Check in was quick and Julia was amazing and thorough. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Whirlpool tub was clean and functional. Large shower was clean and water pressure was great! Despite having a lot of guests this weekend, it was quite in our room and A/C worked great! Breakfast options were plentiful with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle batter and irons, and cereals available, as well as juice and coffee options. Large open area to eat. The pool was clean and nice and enjoyed by many people. Roku television in the room allowed us to use our favorite streaming services. When we needed fresh towels, housekeeping was quick to drop them by. The only (minor) complaint would be the in-room phone would not ring to the front desk, but who doesn't have a cell phone these days? Not a major issue at all. We use this Quality Inn frequently as a little get-away from our three teenagers and we're always, always, always happy with the property and staff!!!!

We had a leak in our room. Looking at the ceiling you could tell it had been there. We changed hotels. We are STILL waiting for our refund, but Hotels.com cannot reach the hotel. When i call the hotel to reach the front desk, the phone just hangs up. The only positive was Julie, the clerk, was friendly and professional, and tried to help, but couldn't do anything without the managers approval. But she did get thru and assured us there would be no charge, and yo call Hotels.com for the refund. Still no refund 1 week later. They gave us room 239 that violates the health code. We felt a puddle by the sink when we first got to the room and reported it. When we got back to the room, it was raining outside and there was a steady drip from the ceiling to the carpet. We stayed at another hotel in town, which was great but more than our budget. If you want to verify, please call the hotel. Good luck getting thru. It is a mismanaged dump. I am now pursuing every way i can to get a refund from Choice hotels. They say get it from Hotels.com, but Hotels.com says i can't get it unless the property manager approves it. Neither is taking responsibility and i am stuck in the endless loop. Hotels.com gets a 1 on this too for offering this dump and not backing their customers. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Check in was quick. Staff was friendly. Bed and room needed some upgrades. There was no fan in the bathroom to ventilate when taking a shower. Breakfast in the morning was actually pretty good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit, etc… it wasn’t too bad and I wouldn’t mind staying again.

Hotel rooms need to be upgraded.At least new sheets. Experience was good as well of tge hospitality, Mrs. linda was super sweet and so helpful to us made us felt right at home! The business just needs to invest in new sheets and pillows in my opinion. Other than that we had a nice stay!

The room was dirty . The beds were clean though so I didn’t complain. The staff was great though at desk and breakfast lady was nice . This was upstairs but I stayed a few weeks ago and the room was very clean but it was on bottom floor

We enjoyed our stay in at Quality Inn in Union City, Tn. The service was great and our room was clean. We visited Reelfoot lake while we were here. It was about 24 miles from our hotel room. Would recommend staying here.

Nice location

Hotel and room were clean, room smelled fresh. Towels and sheets clean. What I didn’t realize when booking was that the rooms open directly to the outside. There is no central entrance. Not a great idea for a person traveling alone or women. We were placed a the farthest back area adjacent to a run down vacant lot. Everything worked out fine but I don’t think I would stay here again.

The room and breakfast was ok. The breakfast lady was friendly. The exterior was rough. Expedia wasn't honest in their dealings with us. We ended up paying one of the highest rates visible rather than any reduction. The hotel itself is scary and I suspect is used for nefarious dealings. I would never stay here again (shiver).

You definitely can tell new owners not kept up like it was 3 years ago people that worked there are very nice but left a day earlier then expected the birds in trees was very crazy had to be over 50 birds just pooping on the vehicles
