Hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. Ample parking in front or in back. Its close walking distance to many places. The live entertainment was also nice EVERY night. Would recommend. Just beware a lot of stores and restaurant are closed Monday and Tuesday’s and start opening Wednesday. Also the close early so this hotel is the place to be. Speakeasy bar downstairs and tasting on main floor. The complementary breakfast was better than a lot of of other hotels.

The only down side of our stay was that the building we in did not have an elevator. We are little older and have difficulty with stairs. I did not realize this was the building we would be in until it was too late to switch.

The suite was located within easy walking distance of all the downtown shops and wineries. The onsite bar/restaurant was excellent and a live entertainment in the evening that was very good! Breakfast was awesome!! The property was very well kept and extremely clean! We would definitely recommend staying here!!

The hotel was beautiful and clean. Very historic. Cool bar and patio with great live music every night. Free breakfast was good. We stayed in the Cycle Suite which was perfect and it had a full sized coffee pot which is so great these days since most places offer a keurig with only two regular coffee k cups. Walking distance to a bunch of other great spots. There is also a shuttle that takes you to numerous wineries all day for $25!

I loved the continental breakfast, comfy bed, nice bathrooms. Too bad they don't have a small table, chairs to sit at somewhere. We stayed in the Soda Pop room. Parking is a challenge!!!!! We moved our car 3 times to get close to our room.

Greeted upon arrival. Already paid so checkin was easy. Given two free drinks at bar. Room was comfortable and clean. We were in the Flower room. Decor appropriately. King bed comfortable. Plenty of towels and ammenities all in place. Older building. No elevator. No biggie. Great lounge with live band. Drinks a little expensive. Free breakfast great and lots of options. Hot and cold options available. Check out at 11 a.m.

Our stay at Hermann Crown Suites was great. Our room was very clean, had everything we needed, was larger than expected, very comfortable and really just made us feel right at home. The property has so much to offer with the on site restaurant, cellar bar and great breakfast (breakfast included with your stay). The location can’t be beat, walkable to many places and offers trolley service for the wineries. If you’re planning a trip to Hermann, I would recommend this hotel! We will definitely stay here again.

We were in the Chrismon Suite. This was clearly behind the laundry room. The wall between the two is extremely thin. I heard the staff’s entire conversation & could tell you when the laundry was spinning, etc. a table in the room would’ve been nice… But extremely clean😊

We had a great stay!! The only piece of criticism would be is that we were kept up by the couple in the room next to us. We could hear everything they were saying through the walls. Even with that we really enjoyed the stay. The suite was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice and accommodating! Our driver Jake was also great! We are already thinking about when we want to come back and stay here again!!!!!

Comfortable bed. I liked the extra room for the tub and space to do my makeup. But the room with the tub had a burned out bulb. So it was a it dim. Not bad, though. Living room was a little small and awkward for watching TV. But we weren't there to watch much TV anyway.

Hermann Crown Suites was great! We stayed in the Soda Pop Suite and it was the cutest suite. 3 bedroom 2 bath, lots of room and so close to everything. Highly recommend!!!!

Clean room and a comfortable bed. Although it would have been nice to have a heavier blanket, given the freeze this weekend (and the portable air conditioner hose through the window let in a constant freezing draft). An overstuffed armchair would have been awesome; the two straighbacked armless chairs were not comfortable for sitting at all. Vintage/retro look and feel, but the '90s coffee pot was a bit much. Keurigs have been in mass use for 20 years now; a single serve coffee would have been great. So it's either make a whole pot of coffee or walk outside in the freezing cold and across to the main building to get a cup of coffee. The TV was also about the size of a computer monitor (Vizio - the kind that cost less than $100 at Walmart) that you could barely see across the room. But it turns out that didn't really matter as most of the cable channels had really fuzzy reception. And you couldn't stream on your own device, as the 'net connection was terrible. But, clean room comfortable bed. If that's all you're looking for, this is OK. But forget about the rest of it.

The location was perfect. The room was very dated and towels and bedding not great. Could not use the tv- thought battery in remote. The help gladly replaced and that did not help. Asked for someone to check it out and they did while we were out. Tv came on just froze couldnt use. Very nice staff,but rooms not the best. Stairs roped off and rotted couldnt use which would be so much quicker and easier.

This is a nice hotel located in the middle of Hermann, the hotel room is spacious and has a comfortable bed. For the price of the hotel, it is worth it. The only issue was, that it was a Saturday night and there was an outside bar and it didn’t get quiet until around midnight. I would stay again.

There was a problem when they ran my cc because the staff member made a mistake. I was bombarded with calls and texts the next few days to fix it even though my records showed it went through- I had a pending charge. I did not want to charge it again until I made sure it dropped. I received a couple rude voicemails until I sent proof that I thought it went through- I had an email. I think they thought I was lying. They were more civil after that. It all worked out at the end but when I called to pay the bill the staff member had the nerve to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. Just know that when you charge your room they ask you if you want to leave a tip and present you with the option of percentages or a custom tip. The breakfast was ok. The location is great. Our room was obviously cleaned quickly because I found things left by previous guests. Too bad we had such a bad experience because Hermann is lovely but we will stay elsewhere next time.

Check-in was a breeze and the gal who checked us in was enthusiastically welcoming and completely accommodating. We loved our room, and its mixture of old-timey vibes and modern conveniences. Getting a suite at such an affordable price was shocking. I would start here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights to enjoy the area wineries and distilleries. What an awesome place to stay. It's a very old building, and the rooms reflect that, which we really liked. The room was decorated very nicely and very clean. The bar downstairs had a band and was a great time. It was also nice because we were able to just walk up to our room after an evening of drinking. Every employee of the hotel that we encountered was very friendly from the front desk, to the bartenders, the shuttle drivers, and housekeeping. We will definitely stay here again when we visit again. And we will definitely visit again.

Overpriced and understaffed. We were grateful to bring our puppy but definitely paid premium to do so. Felt ignored when arrived. Wanted a drink so walked down to bar and waited to get a drink like 20 minutes. There should be people dedicated to checkin and bar.

Enjoyed NYE 2024 all night stay and event in the basement cellar. Entertainment was good, food good, event located right next to hotel. Hotel clean, bed comfortable, goos free breakfast. We'll be back for a summer visit.

When we arrived, the hotel was locked and no one was available at the front desk until 11 am. The staff left again at 7 pm. Your on your own after that.The hotel was charming and the room was beautiful. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Spongy fruit and limited choices even for a continental breakfast. The front desk staff was wonderful and most accomodating. Most restaurants and wineries were closed because of snow, so no transport around town either. The next day most were open again. Despite disappointments would stay again and give it another try.

This is a nice place to stay. The room was great and the location fantastic. The outside grill was not great - I don't recommend eating there - and the bar had a bad beer selection. The outside patio was great. The hotel shuttle ($20 each) to the wineries was fantastic and I highly recommend it. My main recommendation is do not go to Hermann on a Monday or Tuesday. The entire city shuts down those two days.

The room was awesome the bar was beautiful. The staff was ok could have been more professional. The breakfast was pretty average. Hermann is not a town you should visit on a Monday or Tuesday. most of the businesses are closed those days. Also there are not very many places that have good food.

We stayed in the Victorian Suite, and it was amazing! The suite is much bigger than the photos let on. The jacuzzi tub was so relaxing, and the rooms little fridge, coffee maker and microwave was great for storing and re heating leftovers. The "Continental" breakfast was way more food than expected. Each morning I was able to make an egg, sausage, biscuit,and gravy scramble bowl. There are 5 different coffees, and they have waffles made to order. The basement of the hotel has a sepakeasy with live music, cocktails and a very chill atmosphere. We plan on staying there again!

Heating did not work. No food service was available. Only the included breakfast buffet. The beautiful basement bar closed at 8:15 pm each night. We were booked for 3 nights but left on the 3 day because of the above issues.
