We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 small kids. We used the extra cot and had to move the beds to make room for it but it fit. The free breakfast was good 2/3 times and you had nice options to pick from. Despite being close to a busy bar I felt safe there and we didnt have any issues. They had free laundry which was very cool and also offered us daily passes to the rec center so we got to swim there for free and that was also really cool. Now for the bad. The stairs are so steep to get to the second floor. The curtains were so thin and the light outside the door was on all night. It was difficult to fall asleep because it was so bright in the room. The air conditioning was so big and bulky and stopped us from being able to open the window to get fresh air. The carpet was gross and smelly and caused our whole family to have major allergy troubles. The sink leaked all over the counter whenever we used the tap and the last night of our stay the toilet broke and wouldnt flush. Also after a few days staying you could see the black mold forming on the walls in the bathroom. The shower head was so low it was hard to shower comfortably. Not ideal for a family to stay but if youre just there for work or one person it would be a good fit. The sheets and towels were clean. So was the room. Free laundry was a plus and the front desk people were really good. Not a super comfortable stay but not the worst place weve stayed in.

In desperate need of an overhaul. Very dated. Needs new carpets , mattresses, bathrooms. Very noisy due to traffic and the pub next door. The potholes at the front entrance can swallow a small vehicle and ruin the suspension on a bigger one.

Stayed at the Chalet Inn and had a great experience. The staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and quick to handle a couple of small requests (extra pillow and getting the right channel for Jays Game 7!). The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a standout—bacon, eggs, toast, and hash browns. Hard to find that these days. Laundry facilities on-site were super convenient too. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

They provided breakfast except the last morning they didn’t tell the guests and the restaurant was closed! The room really needs upgrading. One chair arm was broken, bathtub had chips out of it, a huge fan for heat or ac was provided but took up a lot of space and was noisy. The rooms are dated and really need some work to bring them up to a higher standard. That being said, they were friendly and the room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable. The place was quiet which was a bonus. And having a washer and dryer at no charge was also a huge bonus.

The staff is excellent, the room was immaculate, and what a bonus to have a place onsite to have food, which was really good! I am definitely going to stay here again, when I visit Kitimat! Six stars for me! Thank you to all the staff, for making my stay amazing!!!! Looking forward to booking with you again!!!!

Just Clean enough. The room was in rough shape. Dirty lamp shades, doors and walls, lights that didn’t work. Faded stain on the sheets. Heat register that rattled all night long. No facilities onsite to purchase bottled water.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Didn’t like that somebody was smoking cigarettes near the intake pipe of my air conditioning unit so that my room smelled like smoke. Turned the AC off and it stopped but then the room heated up quickly again. Would stay again.

This was my first time staying. Checking in was good. Lady with front desk was polite and helpful. When I whet to my room the hallway smelt like piss. Lower lever from the office. Room was clean but should be updated. Holes in the walls, water damage in the ceiling. Can’t change the channels on the TV. Everything was unplugged. Was not given an internet password, yes I could have asked but by the time I noticed the office was closed. I reserve two rooms. My coworker hand to change up her room. We were given vouchers for breakfast. Service was good but food was super salty. I won’t stay again

We ate at the hotel's restaurant. We were given 3 choices of breakfast food, which was very good. The rooms were old, the carpet was stained, but the geds were comfortable. When you register you are given breakfast vouchers. Make sure you get a voucher for each member of your group, otherwise, you may get into an argument with the servers at the restaurant.

Great place, has everything you need. Only thing I’d say is a downside is our provided breakfast didn’t open until 8am. It was in the restaurant that was VERY busy and very slow due to only having one employee trying to manage all the guests. Food was good though.

The Bfast included was only issue. Restaurant was unreliable whether it was open or not. Advertisement stated open, but in reality closed. Very awkward in a small town like Kitimat
