The hotel experience was fine. Rooms were clean neat and tidy. During my stay I did use the chalet restaurant and found it to be an abhorrent experience. During a breakfast rush, there was only one server and she had a near full restaurant. Drastically understaffed in the restaurant area and extensive wait times because of this. The server did an amazing job for being by herself. I have stayed here several times in the past and not ran into this issue. Also of note, I did receive an email today from the establishment stating that they were no longer offering free breakfasts to persons that booked 3rd party. I will not use this facility again or reccomend it to friends and acquaintances as a result.

I love staying here. The beds are great. The breakfast is at the restaurant that shares the property, OR there is the option of the Local Tim Hortons, if you need to leave too early for the restaurant! Great addition of the Tim's for days when 5 or 6 am is road time. Rooms are always clean. Building is older, but works great. Well kept. Odd, but I love that they still hand you a real metal key! not just a key card.
