Stayed 14 nights

Our stay was outstanding. On a 10 point scale our stay was a 15!!!Gulia and her family were outstanding in every way. They were always asking how our 2 week stay was going and available to assist with restaurant suggestions, parking issues and anything needed to allow us to have a great stay! When we had parking issues as the town was very restricted they even offered (and did) drop off and pick up to the house for special restaurant dates. They became great friends. This was our 45th anniversary trip and the great place and their professionalism made this an unforgettable experience. Everything was better than we'd expected. You will not be disappointed!!

My wife & I had a lovely stay at this Bellagio home. It is pretty well centered - about 20 min walk to the tourist-y part of the city. The balcony is beautiful to enjoy a bottle of wine. It was spacious and we felt right at home!Pro Tip - we flew into Milan and hired a private driver from Transfeero. The drive itself was quick and easy, about an hour and a half, and it wasn’t terribly expensive (100-150). The driver was able to drop us off right in front of the home. The alternative was to take the train to Varenna, followed by the ferry to Bellagio, and a 2km walk (with bags & incline) to the house. If you’re not renting a car, I would highly suggest this approach.

We chose this house with the hopes of feeling like a local. It did not let us down. Cute, Clean, Cozy and Complete. Low wood ceilings upstairs, incredible Lake and Mountain View from the main floor living room, and cool, ground level kitchen and outdoor dining with fireplace. A cobblestone path out front connects you to the small lakefront town of San Giovanni. Wonderful walk to 2 markets and Bellagio are easy and delightful. Giullia was quick to respond, accurate with details, and a delight to work with. Home includes 1 spiral staircase, connecting ground floor and 1st floor. A narrow staircase led you from the living room to the upstairs bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Sunrises were beautiful, and a delight to hear distant conversations from walkers or occasional neighbors which helped to feel at home. Would stay here again....Thank you Giullia!

Property turned out exactly as advertised. Very pleasant stay for my wife and I who wanted to be away from the crowds for a weekend and relax. We did a lot of walking to get around Bellagio and fortunately had good weather. Very comfortable place with mostly all the items you need to get by. Owner was great and very responsive to our needs.

The location is good. There is a bit of a walk with some elevation but it is only really problematic with luggage. We had our mother along so a ride to and from the terminal was necessary but it wouldn’t have been needed otherwise. The home is very cute and definitely adds to the experience. It is comfortable and meets all the needs one would have. A great view, clean, comfortable and so on. There is little to deaden the noise and the home is fairly tight in certain places so make sure you're comfortable with everyone. It is three stories with narrow stairs so plan for that as well but overall great. The real key here is the hosts. We were greeted with a ride to the home from the terminal for the hosts father “papa” unrequested, he even gave us a quick tour of Bellagio. During the ride we asked about ways to get back to Varenna for our departure and he offered to take us back down to the terminal which was amazing. Likely the only way it would have happened as Taxi/Ubers are infrequent. However when he picked us up to leave, we had not check the ferry schedule as it had been running very frequently the previous days and we had plenty of time if we missed one. Unfortunately when we got to the terminal, the next ferry would have put us missing our train to Milan. We did not realize how infrequent the ferry ran on Sundays. We were a bit panicked, but Papa said no worries, and brought us to Lecco, a 30min drive so we could catch our train. It was incredibly kind!
