It's an unique style hotel. Coffee server, microwave, electric pot, coffee, tea, etc. are shared at a kitchen corner on the first floor. Housecleaning is only upon request. Room is very clean and simple. If there were a closet and a fridge in the room, I had nothing to say.

New and beautiful hotel situated close to Aalto University and metro. Nice interior and great room with good bed. Good aircondition. The gym machines are a bit special, but actually good! The staff asks how the sleep was, and its very nice to feel they are interested in the quality of the hotel. One little thing could be to team up with a good baker and have some fresh bread available for the breakfast. The selection in the automats are a bit too austere, and I did choose to use my money for breakfast somewhere else. I hope and think this new hotel will have a lot of happy guests!

Heymo 1 is very close to a Metro and tram stop, so easily accessible from the airport or the centre of Helsinki. Its facilities are modern throughout and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious (the shower was particularly good). Breakfast is €10.45 and is well worthwhile as it is a buffet and also considering the cost of eating out in Helsinki. Overall I would stay at Heymo 1 again and would recommend it to everyone.

First and foremost: the staff. I had the pleasure to discuss with Abdi, Sini, Eeli and George. Awesome people they are! We had the opportunity to use two different rooms: a regular two-twin-beds room and the Lucky You suite. The regular room had everything to satisfy us, even though it is a little small by North American standards. However, the decor and the furniture made it comfortable and lively. Also, the space is well used and the furniture is efficient. What can I say about the Lucky You suite? Well it’s like living in an Elinoora dream. Very surprising and cozy, because it doesn’t feel like a hotel room at all. Private sauna anyone? The rooms also had the luxurious Finnish soap and shampoo brand that is all the rage here: Lumene. Our Expedia deal included the breakfast buffet. What a great way to start your day! There is every Finnish breakfast food you can dream of, including white sliced bread and a toaster for the North Americans among us. And don’t forget that Finland is a lactose-free dreamland. The buffet food is super well presented and the eating area is quite large, well decorated and very clean. There is also a fancy coffee machine and a tea bar in the lobby that are free to use and accessible 24/7. Enough said: I will gladly return to this place every time I visit Espoo.

There was no closet or a safe in the room. And they said they clean every two days, but no one showed up for cleaning for a week. I passed by the reception to ask for cleaning, they affirmed they will send someone to clean and still no one showed up until I followed up and called a third time. Also the breakfast options weren't that good. You have no clue about the items, they could have written some labels in English to make it easier. Also the windows in the rooms do not open, there's no way you can ventilate the room, and that was annoying. The walls are so thin, if anyone moved anything from the other room it could disturb you easily.

The property was lovely. However, everytime I tried to extend my stay, the staff couldn't help me. They either said they couldn't see availability on their side or have me prices much higher than what was listed online. Nobody offered to help when moving bags or suitcases either, and I found it a little frustrating to have to ask to have my room cleaned.

It was beautiful and clean, staff was friendly as well. Only issue was with their Wi-Fi. It wasn’t working aside from the first hour we were there, and it’s what their televisions run off. So absolutely no television to relax with at the end of a full day outside the hotel doors, which for us would have been just nice, especially for our 3 year old.

I did not enjoy staying at this hotel much. Dont like a computer for a reception, even if a friendly staff member helped. No desk in the room. Or coffee maker. Free coffee in reception but milk and breakfast items behind locked glass fridge doors. Room clean and beds comfortable although feels like a hospital. Expensive and breakfast not included. I wont be staying here again if i can help it.

We went to Finland for a Taekwondo competition. We needed a place to stay, not too expensive. We found this Hotel and over all it was a nice hotel. Breakfast was OK for the price, and service was good. The bedroom was good as well. Comfortable beds and pleanty of space.

Nytt, fräscht och modernt. Vissa svårigheter att som gående från metron hitta ingången. Hamnade att gå runt hela byggnaden, så bättre skyltning behövs. Enkel men förhållandevis dyr frukost som man kunde köpa på plats.

Das Heymo 1 by Sokos Hotels hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Zwei Nächte im finnischen Hochsommer, Zimmer war gut klimatisiert. Gute Erreichbarkeit mit der Metro, insgesamt sehr guter Eindruck! Würde ich wieder übernachten wollen. :)

Very nice and modern rooms and building. However, there is no typical buffet breakfast, which is a big minus in my opinion. There's reasy packed sanwiches, fruits, yogorts and juices and you get to choose one of each. There's also no proper bins and no pide shower in the room. They offer shampoo in the bathroom, which is a bonus. Very good location in relation to a metro station.
