What an excellent motel. If you have kids this is great. Playground, indoor and outdoor pools, soccer field with goals, multiple gas grills, fire pits, plenty of chairs!

Friendly staff, cozy and clean, two pools, pretty good hot breakfast included. Would have liked a sheer curtain for the window besides the blackout curtain to let in some light w/o total exposure to all walking by. Otherwise good stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The indoor pool was clean and fun, great for both kids and adults. We also liked the tennis courts—a nice way to stay active. The breakfast was good with plenty of options for everyone. Our kids loved the playground. It was safe and gave them a great place to run around and have fun. Overall, it’s a great place for families with everything you need for a fun and easy trip to Cape Cod.

You can see the money that went into updating this property in terms of room furnishings. But there were a few things that stood out (missing seal at the bottom of the entry door, bathroom layout and finishes. Can’t expect too much for the price). But regardless, we enjoyed our stay. Lots to choose from for breakfast, and dining area it was in was immaculate. Had a very attentive breakfast staff. The common areas were by far the best amenity. The fire pits, outdoor pool, grills and courts. It was nice to have the outdoor space to go to and relax and enjoy. Being centrally located was a plus. Will stay here again!

Checking in was quick. The room i got was good up until we saw mold on ceiling and some of the outlets didnt work. We were able to switch rooms with very little issue. Great staff clean indoor pool outdoor pool wasnt ready to be used.

Very convenient location. Property a bit run down. Staff friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good. Indoor pool was closed, ice machine not working one day. Overall okay.

Our stay at Sunbird Cape Cod Resort was fantastic for the whole family. The kids loved the playground, indoor and outdoor pools, and tennis court, while we enjoyed evenings by the fire pits and grill. Mornings started perfectly with the hot buffet breakfast, which made things so easy before heading out to the beach. I highly recommend Seagul Beach which is just 3 miles away! pure white sand!

Breakfast was not as good as advertised, no bacon. They also had the audacity to close it early. Also the outside pool was closed during the hot summer weather, very disappointing. And when asked about said pool they gave a weird nondiscript answer. In our room there were hardly any outlets and the floors were always dirty. The bathroom shower had good water pressure but was small.

This place was ok. Very basic. Shower wasnt cleaned, found 3 hairs in it. Bed had some hairs in it as well. Tv only got 1 channel, remote didnt work, no alarm clock and there was a layer of dust over the lamps and nightstands.

It looks like they did a lot of updating to this place recently. Everything seemed freshly painted and overall there was a neat appearance to the property. But bad housekeeping ruined the experience for us right after check in. After walking across the floor in socks and then putting my feet on the bed I noticed short and curly hairs (yes, those kind) on the bed where my feet had been. Then my wife sat on the bed and the same thing. We were so grossed out we wore shoes anytime our feet had to touch the floor and made sure that nothing touched the floor touched anything else. We were only there one night so I didn’t want to complain and have deal with switching rooms. I was going to inform them at check out but the person who checked me out never bothered to ask anything about my stay. She just took my keys and said “You’re all set” so I left and will not be back.

They didn’t clean the room or make the beds after our first night there we had to keep getting our own room towels every day/night bedding was dirty and not cleaned. And the ice bucket was filled of dust on top and inside.

Bathroom was dirty at arrival, they had one grill that they put a sign on and said it was for personal use only. The bedroom floor was also dirty and the indoor pool was awful. The only good thing about this place was the location.

Our experience at the hotel wasn't the greatest! When we walked into our room it smelt extremely musty, and the bathroom smelt like sewer! No matter what the air was set on, it felt sticky and wet inside. Maybe needs a dehumidifier. The outside pool needs to be deep cleaned but the inside pool was clean. Breakfast was pretty good! The staff women working in the breakfast area were very friendly. The woman behind the front desk had attitude! Overall hotel was good enough to enjoy Cape Cod, but not ideal. On a budget Sunbird Inn does the job. Would not stay again, but for a weekend trip it's fine.

The breakfast was the best breakfast at any hotel I have ever had! So yummy and so many options. And there was a kind person in there to answer my questions. I didn’t expect such a clean and beautiful, for such a good price! Clean bathroom, clean beds, clean room. Many staff around if I ever had a question, and they were so nice to me. This is an amazing motel.

I really enjoyed my stay here the customer service was great and the room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and they offer a great breakfast. This place was the dirtiest I’ve stayed at. It looked clean until my socks were dark brown from walking around the room. They definitely don’t mop the floors. Beds were comfy. Bathroom is tiny. They didn’t clean our room once and we were there for 3 days. Indoor pool was slimy. Breakfast was ok. People brought their own grills and moved furniture around so there were no places to sit and enjoy the outside space. Online advertises pool open until 11 but it closes at 9. There was also no shuttle to the beach, no outdoor movies or smores and the ice machine didn’t work.

This was a nice place to stay for a fair price. The rooms were clean, they looked newly remodeled. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety to choose from. The staff were all super nice. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

The property is in a great location to get you to Hyannis, ferry to Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard, short drive to all sorts of beaches and restaurants. Only an hour drive to Provincetown. A few draw backs for us: they had WiFi issues during our stay. Not the end of the world. No water in vending machines. No yogurt at breakfast. The building is older and you can hear everyone walking up and down the hallway and closing doors in the morning and at night. (That happens at most places, but this is a wood constructed building and it seemed a bit noisier). And cleanliness. It wasn't dirty, but I also can't say they did an amazing job cleaning. Around the beds, nightstand, baseboards there was thick dust. Walking around the bare floors, our socks were a little dirty. Bedding clean and comfortable. Towels and shower clean.

We enjoyed peace and quiet, the room was huge, very clean, and with all amenities. The breakfast had hot items like sausage and scrambled eggs, and decaf coffee. Internet and TV were working great. The staff was beyond wonderful.

Great experience! Samantha at front desk, was very kind and helpful, we were very late arrivals and she went out of her way to take care of us. Also room are good size and clean, and reasonable priced, breakfast was good , we enjoyed our stay.

Horrible experience! The staff was very rude and unwilling to help. The room was dirty when we first checked in, the trash can had not been taken out. Do not recommend staying here at all, better to stay at any of the other hotels nearby.

The room looks not as good as I expected, smells like humidity, the treatment was not good, I had a hard situation with my family, my pregnant wife and my 3 years old kid arriving late at night after 8 hours driving, they were inflexible and didn't bring me the help I needed, the only positive point is the breakfast, the parking and the playground

This was my second time staying at the sunbird Motel within the past several years. This time I was not happy with how the room smelled when we entered. I realize the smell was coming from the shower curtain, which literally smelled sweaty and moldy. The floors were also somewhat dirty and didn’t look like they have been washed in a long time. I kept my flip-flops on as my children did as well. On two different days I went to the front desk and waited and waited because I needed extra towels and no one was present. On the third day I went back and finally asked somebody who was working in the laundry room next-door to the office, they were quick to help. Overall I would t stay here again. We stayed three nights and they came in once and took dirty towels, but never straightened up or cleaned anything which was surprising to me. Another thing was the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work the first two days, not sure why. I’ve stayed at many hotels in the area so I won’t settle for coming back to the Sunbird.
This was my second time staying at the sunbird Motel within the past several years. This time I was not happy with how the room smelled when we entered. I realize the smell was coming from the shower curtain, which literally smelled sweaty and moldy. The floors were also somewhat dirty and didn’t look like they have been washed in a long time. I kept my flip-flops on as my children did as well. On two different days I went to the front desk and waited and waited because I needed extra towels and no one was present. On the third day I went back and finally asked somebody who was working in the laundry room next-door to the office, they were quick to help. Overall I would t stay here again. We stayed three nights and they came in once and took dirty towels, but never straightened up or cleaned anything which was surprising to me. Another thing was the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work the first two days, not sure why. I’ve stayed at many hotels in the area so I won’t settle for coming back to the Sunbird.

Front desk ladies were delightful and welcoming! They immediately came to the rescue when the tv was out! The maintenance man was brilliant and he helped me out with a brand new tv and he fixed the problem for me! I highly recommend it!

the room was very clean, staff were attentive and friendly.This is a good choice for travelers ona budget. While the rooms were very clean they were a little out dated (need paint in some areas) but the beds and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The best part was the full breakfast (included in the room rate) with a nice attendant. Great location on Route 28. We did use the pools of sports courts but they looked really nice.

The property was located so close to restaurants and other things to do! 10 minute walk to the ocean! And when I needed a new microwave they got us a brand new one by the time we got back!

The property is in a great location to get you to Hyannis, ferry to Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard, short drive to all sorts of beaches and restaurants. Only an hour drive to Provincetown. A few draw backs for us: they had WiFi issues during our stay. Not the end of the world. No water in vending machines. No yogurt at breakfast. The building is older and you can hear everyone walking up and down the hallway and closing doors in the morning and at night. (That happens at most places, but this is a wood constructed building and it seemed a bit noisier). And cleanliness. It wasn't dirty, but I also can't say they did an amazing job cleaning. Around the beds, nightstand, baseboards there was thick dust. Walking around the bare floors, our socks were a little dirty. Bedding clean and comfortable. Towels and shower clean.

Breakfast was a little underwhelming the first day (mystery meat sausage and styrofoam eggs, oj from poorly diluted mix) but the bed was comfortable, bedding clean and shower had excellent water pressure. The fire alarm from 3 to 4 am was extremely unfortunate but not their fault. It’s close to the beaches and restaurants and Main Street in Hyannis. A wonderful breakfast place is within walking distance ( Heavenly restaurant). All in all we will stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, you would see them all day either cleaning rooms or the grounds. Breakfast was always on time, great assortment and staff on site to help. Pool area very clean, towels if you needed, and floats for the kids. Very quiet at night, well lit, plenty of parking.. Beds were comfortable, hot water on demand, refrigerator, microwave and coffer pot in the room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was hot and plentiful. Area was clean and bright. The hotel room must have just been renovated/painted. The paint smelll was a tad overwhelming. There was a gap under the door so outside light filtered into the room.

Stayed only one night. As it was early August, there were many guests staying here and elsewhere nearby. Many children playing outside late. Was worried about noise but never had any issues. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels, soap and other standard toiletries. Breakfast was very good. Hot and cold food items were replenished constantly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was the best breakfast at any hotel I have ever had! So yummy and so many options. And there was a kind person in there to answer my questions. I didn’t expect such a clean and beautiful, for such a good price! Clean bathroom, clean beds, clean room. Many staff around if I ever had a question, and they were so nice to me. This is an amazing motel.

Room as great. A bit outdated, but not a deterrent from staying again. The only bad part was the breakfast. It was barely edible, and I’m not really picky. The “hot” food is all microwaved. Eggs, sausage and bacon. Otherwise, it was convenient to beaches and restaurants. Lots of fun things to do for little kids. And it looks like they’re building an outdoor pool. We would stay again for sure.

Breakfast was not as good as advertised, no bacon. They also had the audacity to close it early. Also the outside pool was closed during the hot summer weather, very disappointing. And when asked about said pool they gave a weird nondiscript answer. In our room there were hardly any outlets and the floors were always dirty. The bathroom shower had good water pressure but was small.

Room was good served its purpose. They had a nice breakfast everyday kept up on and clean plenty of choices. Staff were helpful. Bed was comfortable and air was cold. We did have some electrical issues In our room some outlets didn’t work and the power went out twice two different nights overnight and had to have staff check breaker in morning. I would stay again there again

It was beautiful outside. Breakfast was great and had a wonderful sitting area outside by the pool. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing that was not 5 start was there seemed to be a quite a bit of moisture in the room. Probably normal for the area.
