The area behind this property is beautiful, overlooking the water. The room is very well equipped with hot plate, refrigerator etc. I wish we could have stayed a couple of days to take advantage of the bike trails.

We were riding cycles and there for the night. Very serene. One complain is no vending machines for thirty riders. After a full day of riding didnt want to travel 4+km back into town for a cola or water. It was a nice get away location with beautiful views

This is an older motel. There is an upper level and a lower level that all have patio doors facing the bay. But, I lower level at the back you park in front of your unit, so you look at your car from your sliding glass doors. There are limited electrical outlets, and only one electrical appliance can be used at one time, or you lose power. But please don’t let this deter you from this quaint cliff side motel. There is a walkway down the side of the cliff to a private beach, where you can have a little campfire at night or you can walk for a mile along the beach with your fur friend as it is a pet friendly motel. There are several lounge chairs, and seating areas on the cliff’s edge if you’d like to just sit and take in the massive view of the Bay. The staff was helpful when we needed something. I would definitely book here again in the future.

I really wish I could’ve spent more time here. The view of the bay, the nice outside seating, the cleanliness of the union unit, the quality of the mattress and the linens and the friendly welcome. All were excellent. There is an easy set of stairs right to the beach below. I really liked the tables away from the units, but looking over the bay. It is an older facility, but obviously very well cared for, and kept up-to-date. The mini kitchen was an absolute bonus. Like most motels, you can hear the footsteps of your neighbours upstairs, but I was very impressed at how considerate everyone was, and the place was almost full. Super quiet night.

We had a room with kitchenette. Frig with separate freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, two burner cooktop and sink. Small back deck overlooking the bay. Could access the beach from the property down steps and a ramp.

Toujours vérifier si les informations mentionnées sur Expédia sont toujours exactes. Lors de notre arrivée ne prenait plus les animaux domestiques depuis 3 semaines. Cuisinette?? petit poêle à 2 ronds et pas le droit de faire cuire beaucoup d'aliments, tels que steak (et toute autre viande) bacon, poisson et fruits de mer. Obligés d'acheter des mets préparés et cuire au micro-ondes.

I had a very disappointing stay in Room 58. The moment I opened the door, I was hit with a strong and unpleasant odour of dog urine that seemed to permeate the entire space. It wasn’t just a faint smell either; it was overwhelming and made it incredibly difficult to relax or enjoy my time there. Unfortunately, the odour completely ruined the experience for me. I had expected a clean and comfortable stay, but instead I found myself uncomfortable and eager to leave as soon as possible. This level of neglect is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this room unless the hotel takes serious steps to address the issue.

Le Motel Carleton-sur-Mer est intéressant, si vous choisissez le côté "Vue sur la mer". On y entend les vagues, contrairement au côté "route nationale" alors que le bruit de la circulation est infernal. Cependant, le côté "mer" étant situé sous le côté "route", on y entend tous les pas pas des occupants de l'étage supérieur, sur les planchers de bois non-isolés. C'est vieillot, mais propre. Seul le lavabo endommagé déguisait la chambre.

Très mauvais acceuil. Les propriétaires nous ont mal accueilli et traité comme des imbéciles. De plus, ils etaient deja dans nos chambres alors que nous etions encore sur place. Le trafic est intense et bruyant. L'endroit est vieux mais le seul commentaire positif est que c'est propre.

I showed up at 8h35 pm. The door was locked so I wrang the door bell. There was a sign on the door that said you must sign in before 9h00 pm. A lady showed up in a bath robe and started giving me crap that if I was going to be late I should have phoned first. I kept my mouth shut because I felt that this was the only room left in town. After 10 minutes of her insults and rants, she finally gave me my key. NEVER AGAIN will I stay here.

Très belle accueil avec du personnel très gentil et attentionné à nos demandes. Les chambres propres avec cuisinette de belles dimensions. La vue de la mer est très belle avec balançoires extérieures et des levés de soleil a couper le souffle. La plage privée à proximité, juste à descendre un escalier et vous y êtes. Pêche accessible pour les clients sur le bord de la mer. Je recommande ce Motel à tous. Les prix sont très abordables. J'ai séjourné 12 jours à ce Motel et j'aurais resté encore plus longtemps car il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire à Carleton sur mer et les alentours. Merci encore à toute l'équipe. P.S. Il faut réserver d'avance car les chambres se réservent très vite.

Bad service from the owner. I wanted to do my laundry but they said that they don’t offer this service after 15pm but the check-in starts at 3pm! Not helpful at all to find an alternative solution. In stead of being gentle with me, they were shouting at me that I don’t understand. After they called to co fir The number of persons. A towel always missing and she offered me to add an additional towel, I said thank you, thinking that she will drop the towel to my room but she replied oh no you should go to the reception with a contempt tone. I never felt so upset in my life. I reserved somewhere else and left the room angry and disappointed.

We travelled by motorcycle, it was raining and we didnt have any way to go for supper cause we didn't want to go back out in the rain. The couple that owns the place volunteered to drive one of us to pick up supper.so thoughtful. The place is being renovated but it was decent. No AC was the biggest downfall. We would stay there again, the owners made it worthwhile. Hopefully they will install AC

Excellent sur toute la ligne! Le seul petit bémol, il est sur la 132, donc on entend un peu le trafic. Par ailleurs, étant au 2e étage, nous avons garder notre porte patio ouverte, ce qui nous permettrait d'entendre le son des vagues! Et oui, nous avions une vue sur la mer!!! Ce qui compensait largement le bruit de la 132. Sinon, c' était parfait pour nos besoins! Économique pour ce qu' on obtenait!

Il semblerait que les nouveaux propriétaires ne veulent pas faire affaire avec Hotels.com, donc il a fallu du temps pour régler la situation, l’insonorisation des chambres est inexistante, pas d’air conditionné donc il faut ouvrir les fenêtres et c’est bruyant, pas de restaurant sur place. La température de l’eau fluctue pendant la douche et l’eau est trouble (probablement non potable).
