Das Hotel und Frühstück war gut, preislich an der Obergrenze. In der Tiefgarage konnte man nur mit Unterstützung einparken, da selbst mit eingeklappten Außenspiegeln rechts und links nur maximal 2 cm Platz waren. Ausstieg erfolgte auf der Beifahrerseite. Die Lage ist Top.

We only stayed one night and enjoyed our time. Our room directly faced the main square, so it was a unique experience to see everything going on outside, but the windows completely blocked out any noise. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. Even though our room didn’t have a mini fridge, the front desk was nice enough to allow us to store our food in their refrigerator. This hotel is within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, which was an added bonus. The free coffee bar was another perk.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Nürnberg. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel has very convenient parking, and check in was easy. The hotel has modern amenities and the staff is friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

This Hotel is in a great area and offers a fantastic breakfast. Parking was right under the Hotel. Wish we would have parked before parking in a nearby lot. The area has many things to see. The Palace of Justice is not far and well worth seeing. The Imprrial Castle was also remarkable and dinner at OGGI’s was great. It was just across the street from the Hotel.

Finding the hotel from the nearest train station was easy enough, even with the Christmas markets in full swing on a very rainy day. Check in was simple, and quick. The elevator buttons were a bit finicky, but fine. Some labels for what floor was the lobby would have been good. We dropped our bags and headed right out to the market. When we returned a few hours later, we noticed that the bathroom was a bit dirty. There was either blood or feces on the wall next to the toilet. Once we noticed that, we started to notice other things not quite clean (desk, shelves, walls, sheets had stains). It was late, and we didn’t feel like messing around with calling anyone. If we were staying more than one night I would have called the front desk and asked them to fix it. The location was amazing for the Christmas market, the staff we interacted with were nice. The unclean condition of the room soured our thoughts on this hotel though.

Perfect location in the centre of altstade with underground parking (chargeable) which was great for us. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was a good size with bath and air conditioning. Only negative point was cleaning of the room not good. Think they just seemed to clean the bathroom and nothing else during our stay.

Very good accommodations however the rooms are small. I would dare say tiny. They also had some of the worse pillows I’v ever had in my life. Absolutely no support or substance. I even asked for an additional pillow and it helped but not by much. I should have asked for 2 additional pillows per person. Good shower. Staff were all friendly and welcoming

Pas de bouilloire. Pas de machine à café, pas de sachets de thé ou de tisane. Pas de mini-frigidaire. Coffre-fort qui fonctionne mal. Oreillers minuscules et qui n’étaient pas confortables. Même les cintres ne permettaient pas de suspendre les pantalons.

This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Nuremberg old town. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the square, the cathedral and the 14th century fountain, what a view! The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom had all amenities needed. Great shower. Comfortable bed. One thing to upgrade would be pillows, which were as flat as pancakes, but by now this seems as a norm in German hotels. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the Nuremberg city centre.

I had complained about the noise late at night due to Rock concert on the square outside the hotel. The next morning the front desk compensated us with breakfast and parking at no charge. It was a fair settlement the Breakfast is outstanding as well as the servers

Perfect location, overlooking the main square Christmas market. The room size is also good. But service and amenities are a major downer. There is no coffee/tea in the room and if you come down after 10:30am they will charge you $4 for a cup. The lounge is meant for guests, but they charge you for everything. I am a Platinum level with Expedia and usually get perks (late checkout, or credit, etc.) they didn't seem to care. The front desk staff need to be trained in empathetic customer care.

The hotel is centrally located and has ok bedrooms (a little small with no space to put a large suitcase, but other than that rooms are good). However we had a huge issue when we got woken up by a stranger in our bedroom at 3am. Somehow he gained access to our bedroom and entered it at 3am. It was very scary. I kicked him out and went to the reception immediately. The reception associate told me our bedroom door didn’t close properly and even if we closed it well from the inside of the bedroom (I remember very well locking it before bed), when someone in the hallway pushes it, it does open. I was astonished they gave us this bedroom knowing the problem of the door! Apparently the stranger was a hotel guest and was drunk. They knew exactly who it was when I described him. The hotel did nothing for us, the associate actually was laughing saying “this must be funny”. They just proposed a discount on our next stay. If you don’t want a stranger in your bedroom at 3am, run away from this hotel. The worst was actually the reaction from management which couldn’t care less, even after we had a conversation with them. Location of the hotel 10/10 Safety in this hotel 0/10 Customer service 0/10

Staff is very helpful and friendly! The hotel is located in the. Hauptmarkt - so the location is perfect for walking around the old city center. Taxi stand located next the to hotel is convenient to get to the train or airport! Again any interaction with the staff was awesome - would definitely stay here again!!!

I cannot rate this hotel high enough. Location is excellent on the city square. Rooms spacious clean and comfortable. Staff AMAZING!!! We had a problem with our hire car and the staff spent time helping us and calling rental company on our behalf. That saved us lots of time and effort by helping us translate and try looking after us. They went above and beyond. Will defo turkey stay here if I return.

The staff was amazing! We had difficulty finding the parking garage (we should have asked first for a physical address), but the woman at the front desk guided us to the right place. Once at the hotel, we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the immediate attention to our needs, and the food was terrific. Best of all, a front row seat to the market. We hope to return to Nuremberg to explore the city more and will definitely stay there again!

Das SAXX ist unsere erste Wahl in Nürnberg: Tolle Lage, faire Preise, leckeres Frühstück, sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende. Die beiden Zimmer waren besonders schön mit Blick auf den Hauptmarkt. Vielen Dank!

The hotel is right in the middle of old town, but it’s still very quiet. We were there for the Christmas Market and it was literally steps away. It’s walkable from the main train station but you can also take the subway if you have a lot of luggage. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. They provide free bottled water and coffee in the lounge from 6:30AM to 10AM, and there’s a grocery right next door, along with a lot of restaurants and shops. Check in and check out was easy and the front desk staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!

The Sorat Hotel Saxx Nurnberg is perhaps the single most perfect hotel to stay in while in Nuremberg. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable to direct guest and make suggestions for the area including restaurants and activities. Morning breakfast here is simple but filling, including eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruits, and various pastries. It is a small hotel with generously sized rooms. The Highlight to this hotel is the location as it overlooks The Hauptmarkt which is the Main Market Square. It proved to be the PERFECT location as we could open our windows and look directly at The Christmas Markets which are held there every winter! Making purchases at The Christmas Markets and walking it up to the room, coming down for more and repeat! Absolutely perfect! Some of the best restaurants and The Frauenkirche is also a stone's throw from the hotel. Surprisingly enough the walls and windows are so well insulated that you cannot hear any noise from the outside including the bell that rings from the church! Basically, this is the best hotel in the city if you want to be in the heart of the city. Friendly staff, sizeable rooms, good breakfast and views that are unrivaled! The only thing missing is a gym but you are on vacation!

Mein Aufenthalt im SORAT Hotel Saxx Nürnberg hat mir gut gefallen und ich habe mich während der gesamten Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage direkt am Hauptmarkt ist unschlagbar. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Team: Mein Wunsch nach einem extra Kopfkissen wurde sofort erfüllt. Ich habe mich auch über die kostenlose Flasche Mineralwasser auf dem Zimmer gefreut – eine sehr aufmerksame Geste! Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Dabei den Blick auf den Schönen Brunnen und die Frauenkirche zu genießen, war ein echtes Highlight – besonders während des Christkindlesmarktes muss die Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum aus einfach unschlagbar sein. Ein klasse Konzept ist zudem der extra Raum, in dem man (wenn man kein Frühstück gebucht hat) am Wochenende von 07:00 Uhr bis 11:00 Uhr kostenlos Mineralwasser und Kaffeespezialitäten bekommt. Da das Nachmittagscafé derzeit leider geschlossen ist, hier eine kleine Anregung: Gerade in den kalten Wintermonaten wäre es toll, wenn man nach der Anreise und dem Beziehen des Zimmers am Nachmittag noch eine kostenlose heiße Kaffeespezialität erhalten könnte – entweder zum Genießen vor Ort oder als To-go-Variante. This hotel has the perfect location. It's in the center of old town which makes it very convenient to walk everywhere. The room was well appointed; though, I'm not sure I understand the strange bathroom window to the bedroom. It felt a bit creepy. The mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were purgatorial. I would recommend this hotel, but I don't recommend the breakfast. For the price, I would expect eggs to be made to order. I did not like paying that much for watery eggs in a steam tray. As an American, I am unused to cold cuts and cheese for breakfast. So, with the eggs being poor, I chose to eat my breakfast elsewhere. There are a lot of better options nearby.

Excellent location for Christmas market. It’s right outside of the hotels front door! Staff super friendly and hotel immaculately clean at all times. Only a little disappointed with breakfast buffet . It’s a little pricey for what’s offered but plenty of cafes right outside of the hotel. Easy access to taxis right on the corner. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
