The hotel was priced reasonably and centrally located. Unfortunately there is no access to the hotel by car; there are two multi-storey secure car parks within one minute of walk. We parked our car at their recommended car park as it was cheaper than the other (so we were told). Paid about €8 for 12 hours of parking. The staff spoke good English, were helpful, courteous and professional. Hotel was clean and presentable. The room was clean with crisp bedding. The bathroom was good; everything worked as expected. Check out time was 11 am which was convenient for us. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Maribor - Slovenia.

It was amazing to stay at this hotel. Breakfast is very good, lots of choices, the rooms are clean and tidy. They also are located in the city centre so it’s very convenient. There is a parking garage next to the hotel that offers overnight parking and is secure and safe. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

Das hotel liegt zentral und eine sehr befahren Straße. Die Lautstärke im Zimmern beim geschlossenen Fenstern akzeptabel. Die Zimmer war sehr sauber.Frühstück ausreichend. Personal sehr nett freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze zm die Ecke kostenpflichtig.

Nicely located, close to the beautiful riverside. Nice reminders of energy and watersaving in the room. Spacious and clean. Heard bad about the breakfast so didnt have it, but when we past by, it looked really ok.

Wir übernachten gerne in fiesm Hotel bei unserer Durchreise. Sehr freundlich, Frühstück für jeden etwas, sehr zahlreich. Zimmer sauber. Immer wieder gerne.

Die Lage war super, Preis Leistung ok, Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe- gottseidank über‘s Wochenende kostenfrei 1 Bettlampe war defekt- muss repaiert werden, Wasserhahn im Bad wies massive Kalkflecken auf und wirkte nicht gut! Wenn am Morgen die Betten gemacht werden, dann auch grob durchreinigen ( kehren und das Waschbecken putzen)!!!!! Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und absolut in Ordnung, Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich

This property is conveniently located near the bus terminal (5 minute walk) and is also a short walk to the historic center. It's a clean, basic property, good value, and with a good breakfast that had enough options to suit me. I thought the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and they let me store my luggage for several hours after I checked out so that I could explore the beautiful town of Maribor more before catching the bus to Ljubljana.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da und alles war in Ordnung. Das Bett ist zwar ein wenig schmal, aber ansonsten hat alles gepasst. Besonders das Frühstück war sehr lecker!

Excellent location, room very spacious. Lack of furniture ( wardrobe and shelving for clothes). No shelving in the shower where to put shampoo etc.

The room design tries so hard to be minimalistic, that a non functioning space results. 4 hooks on the wall. A few hangers. No drawers. 1 chair. 2 nightstands (?) the size of a book are 10 inches above the floor. A bare bulb plug-in lamp. The bathroom is very small, with not a single hook or towel rack. The shower seems to be okay until you step in, and then the water begins to spray the floor area outside of the shower. I do not know how TWO people would use this room. The staff was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

We loved our short stay at this hotel right in the middle of all the tourist spots. Maribor is fairly small town and this property near the main plazas in town made it easy to visit all the spots needed to be seen. Nicky the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. She took the time to give us recommendations on where to eat and what to visit.

There were some issues, one partially, but reasonably resolved, the 2nd was not. I decided it was best to leave one day early. I contacted the Manager and he told me that his head office had agreed to refund my unused day. I have 2 emails where he stated clearly that his would happen. He was dishonest and this did not happen. If there are no issues, you will probably find the facility reasonably comfortable, but if there is issues my experience is that the Manager will flat out lie to you.
One other issue is that when you contact a property through Expedia, they typically will not respond. If that had happened, I could have cancelled the booking for something that met my needs and avoided writing a poor review.

I had booked 6 rooms for a group. I was very very sure I had booked breakfast, but upon arrival told breakfast not included. The reception staff were not helpful and just said you must pay for it. Clearly something had gone wrong and its when things go wrong, thats when customer service needs to shine to put things right, but in this case, no service. Breakfast was very limited. they had toasting bread but no toaster. Sausages but no mustard. juices were just watered down.

We loved our short stay at this hotel right in the middle of all the tourist spots. Maribor is fairly small town and this property near the main plazas in town made it easy to visit all the spots needed to be seen. Nicky the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. She took the time to give us recommendations on where to eat and what to visit.

Nicely located, close to the beautiful riverside. Nice reminders of energy and watersaving in the room. Spacious and clean. Heard bad about the breakfast so didnt have it, but when we past by, it looked really ok.

The hotel is not easy to locate as there are no signs on the adjacent main road and local residents are generally unaware of it's location. Reception was efficient and friendly. The room was a good size, the soundproofing very good, the bed comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. I was impressed with the range of breakfast fare, including hot and cold. The hotel is located 10 mins from the rail station, on the edge of the city centre and historic parts. My arrival in the rain was not the best start; but I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

This property is conveniently located near the bus terminal (5 minute walk) and is also a short walk to the historic center. It's a clean, basic property, good value, and with a good breakfast that had enough options to suit me. I thought the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and they let me store my luggage for several hours after I checked out so that I could explore the beautiful town of Maribor more before catching the bus to Ljubljana.

Sehr dürftiges Frühstück. Brötchen vom Vortag. Auswahl sehr begrenzt, trotz guter Auslastung. Trotz Anfrage auf ein anderes Zimmer, leider keine Wechselmöglichkeit. Beim Fön hingen die Kabel aus der Wand, der Geruch im Bad sehr unangenehm, Putzmittel, oder Urin war nicht herauszufinden. Auf Nachfrage für 2 getrennte Bettdecken, wurden uns diese an der Rezeption in die Hand gedrückt. Schade.... Beim nächsten Zwischenstopp wählen wir ein anderes Hotel.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da und alles war in Ordnung. Das Bett ist zwar ein wenig schmal, aber ansonsten hat alles gepasst. Besonders das Frühstück war sehr lecker!

Prima , leuke kamer. Staat op een prima plek om de stad in te kunnen om even wat te eten . Ontbijtzaal beetje hostelstijl . Rssr dat we aan de straat moesten parkeren , voelde niet echt veilig Groot minpunt ; we kregen bij intske te horen dat we pas na 8.30 konden ontbijten omdat er. Twee groepen waren . Wij wilden gewoon om 7 uur ; was niet mogelijk . Voorstel was een ontbijtbox . Aangegeven dat we dan wel om 6.45 konden komen . Was ook niet mogelijk . Toch gewoon gedaan . Geef dit van te voren aan ; je kan gasten niet dwingen om 1.5 uur later te ontbijten. Ontbijt op zich prima , behalve dat de afbakbroodjes niet gebakken waren en de ondefinieerbare smurrie die gebakken ei moest zijn

Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war leider bei uns unterdurchschnittlich. Die Lage war gut und zentral, unsere Zimmer hatte nur leider keine schöne Sicht. WLAN funktionierte 1.5 Tage nicht.

I had booked 6 rooms for a group. I was very very sure I had booked breakfast, but upon arrival told breakfast not included. The reception staff were not helpful and just said you must pay for it. Clearly something had gone wrong and its when things go wrong, thats when customer service needs to shine to put things right, but in this case, no service. Breakfast was very limited. they had toasting bread but no toaster. Sausages but no mustard. juices were just watered down.

Room was small, but adequate for one night stay. Reasonably furnished, clean. TV did not work as the remote control was missing batteries. Windows cannot be open and ventilation provides constant noise, low level. Breakfast was ok, selection is wide in bakery, but limited to oranges in fruit. Breakfast room serves as a corridor from reception to lifts, is very busy and somewhat unpleasant to stay in. Location of the hotel is excellent.
