Das Hotel ist etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, zwar schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen aber grosse, saubere Zimmer, grosser Parkplatz, Getränkeautomat in der Lobby, Frühstück ist ausreichend. Der Pool wird jetzt im Oktober nicht mehr gepflegt(ist jetzt sowieso zu kalt). Es hat im Hotel ein China-Restaurant und rund herum ein paar Möglichkeiten zu Essen (meine Empfehlung 'Brasserie Daniel Lapointe' 300m stadtauswärts). Ich würde dieses Hotel für 1-3 Übernachtungen empfehlen, dafür dass es ein 2-Sterne Hotel ist, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut.

Upon entering the room the bathroom door was locked. The hallways could use a vacuuming... The pool area is nice. The restaurant on site was open until 9pm and refused t seat us at 8:25pm. The Breakfast is good. It was conveniently local to the Granby Zoo. We would stay there again and use it for what it is.

Staff was great, wanted to help and willing to listen. Found pubic hair here and there in the bathroom, and dead bed bugs on one of the bed on our rooms. Asked for a refund of our stay, and got no answer yet. Will keep calling until I can have a full refund. Disgusting.

Room condition was questionable upon arrival. There was no toilet paper and a used blanket in the cupboard. The mattress protector had a stain on it so we werent sure if the room was prepared for a new guest.

Après avoir été transférée dans une autre chambre, j'ai trouvé un bouchon de bouteille d'eau sous mon drap contour donc, je ne crois pas que les draps aient été changés. La porte patio ne se barrait pas; serrure défectueuses. Dans cette 2e chambre, nous avions vue sur le stationnement alors que dans la première chambre, nous avions vue sur la piscine. Beaucoup de postes de télé avaient l'image figée.

L'hôtel a clairement été rénovée dans les dernières années, les chambres sont propres. L’isolation est déficiente. Les bruits à la fois provenant du corridor, des chambres voisines et de l’étage supérieure sont très audibles. We stayed one night at Hotel Principale in July and I was really disappointed when I walked in the room. For 190$, I was expecting more than a damp, smelly basement room. I’m sure those staying upstairs had a nicer experience than we did, but the price should have been adjusted accordingly. The bath seemed clean but it was so worn out that it took us sometime to convince my little niece to get in. If I were to stay there again, I would definitely ask for a room upstairs.

The room is adequate but it has old dark furnishings and is dingy. Our 3rd floor room's sliding door, leading to a shared balcony, would barely slide open. The bed was supposedly a queen but seemed to be a double. Old mattress, needs updating. For 1 night, and a cheap rate, it was adequate. Good parking, safe. Quiet room. Breakfast was better than expected - advertised as a continental breakfast but had a little mire, standard hotel fare.

I called ahead to ensure I would be able to check in early, and was assured it would not be a problem. Well, I got there and had to wait an hour and got to check in at the regular time. Had a bedroom in the basements, it was clean and soundproof for the most part. All staff seem happy and friendly.

Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Our group was on bicycles and they allowed us to store them in an empty room downstairs. Also included a lovely continental breakfast. The hotel was in walking distance to an excellent Indian restaurant and a sports bar so we could watch the Stanley Cup semis! All in all an excellent stay. Thanks!

Visited the Zoo for a couple of days and did the waterpark. The hotel was very well situated and very close. Restaurants and stores near by. Pool was great. Room was quiet. The only critic was the bathroom was very small.

A newly renovated older hotel, well appointed and very clean. There's a Chinese food restaurant off the lobby and a nice breakfast room, too. Breakfast is nothing special but sufficient. For summer there is an outdoor pool & patio. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Pets are permitted, for a reasonable price. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.
