The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was always chaotic and busy, but the staff did a good job of cleaning and keeping the food stocked. It was nice having a Belgian waffle maker. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was big and had a lot of great equipment. The only complaint (small one) I had was that the Peloton's were not working.

Only 1 working elevator. The blinds in our room were broken. One wouldn't open, the other wouldn't shut. We went down for breakfast at 9 and they couldn't keep up with clean silverware or dishes. The food was also wasn't keeping up with the demand

Parking is expensive and only one valet helping many people park and retrieve their cars wait was long . no closet, only 1 chair at desk no other spaces to sit and relax other than bed

Be prepared to walk if you don’t want to pay $55 a night of valet parking that is the only option the hotel gives you. I parked at Kiener plaza west garage which is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There is no pool at this location. Be prepared to hear the staff fighting each other on 2 separate occasions security had to escort workers off site. The breakfast was ok nothing special. No storage, microwave, or coffee maker in rooms. I will book somewhere else next time

Gave us a room with people already there. Rude male receptionist at night. Out of hand soap and made us go down from 11th floor to the 1st floor to refill the hand soap container. You can only used valet for parking, but they only have 1 person doing the valet.

Elevators were slow and sometimes out of service. Front desk helped me to understand how to request a refund from Expedia after the funds provided were insufficient and i needed to pay again at the front desk.

Check in starts at 4. Tried to check in at 6 and room wasnt ready. Only parking option was valet. Elevator wasnt working in the morning so had to use service elevator.

The stay was nice hotel is beautiful, elevators need to be repaired there was only one working it was very shaky, hotel was very busy the weekend I stayed needed extra breakfast attendees but they did the best they could to keep up staff was great overall

Beautiful old building in middle of remodel. Employees were friendly and helpful. Valet parking staff hustled. We were on 11th floor and elevator broke. Thank goodness we were going down the stairs because my husband has a neuroligical condition that causes numbness in his feet. We cannot walk up 11 flights of stairs. Maintanance guy there said it breaks all the time. While walking down stairs there were areas where handrails had been pulled out of wall.

The vallet parking was crazy

The hotel room was very spacious, clean, and beautiful. The views from the window were also really nice. I also appreciated the friendliness of the staff as they always greeted us every time we left and came back to the hotel. The free breakfast is really tasty and I loved that the hotel was just a walking distance from the American Convention Center where our conference was held which was super convenient. Overall, would recommend and would stay here again if I were to need a place to stay when visiting St. Louis again!

Bad neighborhood. Unwashed blood stain on bed sheet. Sliding bathroom door difficult to close. Closet is open. Thin walls so that neighbors music could be heard at 1 AM. Two out of three elevators were not working when we arrived.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful . But we had a possible bed bug issue. They moved us to another room, it was dirty, not cleaned well. They said they would get management involved but as of yet we haven’t heard anything. Overall the place appears run down, in need of maintenance.

We've stayed at the Hilton many times over the years and never had this issue before. I would definitely not recommend this location again.

Hotel policy says it'll provide full-clean service every 5 days for longer stays. We were here 9 days without the sheets changed or the room cleaned. We asked for such service at the front desk once on the 5th day and twice on the 6th day but received none. It was AFTER the the 4th request at the front desk on the 9th day did we received such service. The tissues and hand soap were out for days, but they were never replenished despite request for such service. This is not to say everyone did a bad job. The kitchen staff did a fairly good job even during hectic times, and some non-kitchen cleaning or service folks do their jobs everyday.

Difficult parking situation. Room wasn’t clean. Hair dryer was smoking. Looked like blood splattered on bathroom ceiling. Something brown splattered on main room wall.

We were very pleased with our stay this weekend! The hotel was clearly newly remodeled, everything was new/newer and clean. The lobby had plenty of seating and hang out spots, including a pool table and multiple TVs. All the couches/booths also have built in charging ports and outlets which was really nice. The room was clean, and very spacious (king bed room). The bathroom was very large, nice walk in shower and shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion were all provided. Bed was comfy, as were the pillows, and the smartTV was great as well. The location is right in downtown STL…next to a very beautiful church, but street parking or valet unless you park in a garage about a block away. Be aware of this when you go, I am a woman who was traveling with her teenage son, and while we saw some unhoused people walking to and from our vehicle, no one approached us or spoke to us or bothered us at all. We did see an armed security guard at the door and in the lobby of the hotel. Great location, very close to the arch, Union station, and other attractions. Appeared to be dining options around as well as DoorDash of course.

We waited 3 hours to check in as our rooms weren’t ready and the friends we were with had to wait 4.5 hours. Our shower leaked and no one came to fix it. Our bathroom door would only close halfway. There weren’t any wash cloths or bathmats available and no one came in the 4 days we were there to touch up our room. They said “parking available “ but it was valet and $55 a day.

The floor in our room was not clean. Staff was very friendly & efficient. Good location for our family trip/concert.

This property was conveniently for the event we were attending in downtown St. Louis. Definitely an urban setting. The room was simple. The staff was nice. But some negatives: is this property still under construction/renovation because areas looked unfinished? Also, surfaces in our room were not cleaned. We could see food grease on the desk and the nightstand. Our soap dispensers were empty. And our tv remote was missing. We noted all this to the manager on our way out to an evening event. And when we returned 6 hours later, these issues were not addressed. In the morning, we stopped to the breakfast bar for coffee - and there was no sugar available, anywhere. They had run out completely. The property needs better management.

We had a nice stay but there is no closet in the room, no extra blanket and no way to make a hot tea for example. The sheets and covers on the bed were light and moving all over. Not comfortable! Nice staff!

Perfectly nice inside, though a very basic room with only one chair and a tiny desk (and no coffee machine). Breakfasts were great, though, and staff were very pleasant. It's an old Shell corporate building, remodeled.

I booked a king room, although it was clean it was extremely small! Two of us stayed in the room and we felt very crowded, no windows in the room, and we were left without towels.

Blinds in the room did not shut, so early in the morning the sun comes in directly. Would have been nice to have been able to keep the room dark.

We booked this hotel as it was the a good price compared to others that were closer to Busch Stadium, which was the reason for our visit. First impressions of the area were that it was a bit shady - a lot of druggies within a couple of blocks walk. The hotel had its own security guards 24/7 which on one hand was nice but on the other hand makes you wonder why it’s needed. The staff were all really helpful, and a special Thank you to Coco who kept the breakfast area well stocked and managed. We loved the old building and that it had kept original features from when it was a Shell Co office. The only thing I did not like was the bedding. I have never seen it before but the bed had a duvet cover that wasn’t a full cover. Hard to explain but it was like a cape for the duvet, the duvet wasn’t enclosed in a cover as such, but it was like the top edge of the duvet had a fold over on it. What this meant was that unless you slept completely still the duvet came out of it’s cover all the time, and while the cover may be washed after every guest the duvet most certainly wasn’t. I hated knowing when I woke with the duvet touching me that it had been around the faces and bodies of loads of others without a clean. I have a photo to try and show the difference in the colour duvet compared to the cover. What we should have done was just take off the duvet and use the sheet. I would stay here again and that’s what I would do next time.

Nice hotel. Close walk to the Enterprise Center. The only negative is not having coffee in our room.

A lovely comfy bed and clean room but being an insomniac, better soundproofing would be good. I could still hear traffic up on the 14th floor wearing earplugs plus the walls are thin. Breakfast pretty limited for vegetarians and pretty non existent for vegans. Staff friendly though and room clean.

The front desk was helpful and friendly especially Delshannon. The breakfast was good, but wasn't restocked well. I came down for breakfast both mornings at 920am and there was no bread/bagels/muffins left and the syrup was empty. I asked one of the employees to get more and she gave me a curt answer. The room was clean but very small, but did the trick for sleeping.

Shay at the front desk was amazing. She answered so many questions/issues that I was having. She was never anything but polite and I truly wouldn’t have blamed her if she was annoyed as I was annoyed with my own confusion.

The front desk, valet, housekeeping, and security were all amazing! We travel quite a bit and the service from this staff was by far friendlier, more helpful, and genuine than any we have ever been too. I would definitely stay here again because of the people!

It was terrible, I traveled 2 hour to arrive @ hotel at 4:00PM and rooms wasn’t ready and I had to pay a deposit. Unfortunately, I had tickets to rodeo @ 7:30pm. I sat in lobby waiting to get room that was reserved weeks in advance. I left going to rodeo @ 6:30 PM and I still hasn’t received my room. Got back from rodeo at 10:30PM and finally got rooms I reserved in advance. Knowing that it was holiday (Juneteenth) management should be better prepared…..

I already have a case started via the customer support portal. It is one of the most disorganized front desks I've ever seen. After checking in, I was placed on a list because a room wasn't ready yet. Two hours later, I finally got a room. But, that was only because I went back to the desk to ask why others were getting rooms during that two hours. Other customers were told they had no reservation in the system even though they had valid confirmations. The 3 front desk people were joking about the upset customers...obviously didn't really care. Supposed to get the room turned and replenished every other day. We were there 3 nights and never had a housekeeping visit. We had to go down and get towels at the lobby just to have fresh ones. The parking is a joke...treated like a New York City super high-end hotel. No garages nearby, the only street spaces have meters that have to be fed every 2 hours. So, the only "convenient" choice is the hotel's $49/day valet service. Ridiculous.

Decent hotel located in downtown STL. Parking is $45 for vallet. Easy walk to Busch Stadium, Scottstrade and all downtown attractions.

This hotel is in a location with a lot of homeless vagrants and crime. The location is extremely noisy due to street racing in the neighborhood and gunfire all night long.

The hotel is a walking distance to the Gateway Arch, which was the goal of my trip to St Louis. The $55 valet parking added extra cost to my hotel night. The hotel was clean, comfortable and professionally ran. Several restaurants and historical buildings nearby, and I really enjoyed the Gateway Arch and Museum the next morning.

I recommend booking a property away from this area of town and getting an Uber. The hotel is decent but you can tell the area makes it sketchy. 55 dollar valet so you don't get broken into is not ok. Room was nice, bed comfortable and it was very clean. After dark the neighborhood around this property is beyond sketchy. Homeless everywhere, trash left around and the people that come to the area to cruise at high speeds, bass blasting and fill it up weed smoke are not enjoyable.

Nice hotel walkable to the Bush Stadium if you dont mind walking about a 20 min walk. That's under a mile (0.8) the only thing you will see duting early morning and late night. A lot of homeless people arounf the area.

I stayed here because I saw it was within walking distance of Busch stadium. It is within walking distance but not a comfortable walking distance.

Excellent breakfast options!

After hours of travel into the city we had to wait in line for an hour to check in. With no acknowledgment or apologies from the Manager or front desk staff. Also the breakfast is as extremely limited in selection of dishes and for a two night stay received no turnover service from housekeeping and had to ask for towels on the second night.

It was a pleasant surprise. The tv had a welcome note on the screen which made me feel at home. Better than home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast during the week was better than my conference offered. I didn’t want to leave.

Everything was good with our room and reservation. The breakfast area was not great they were out of syrup no forks no waffle mix no pancakes no napkins or cups for juice. The worker was walking around talking on his cell phone while all of this was going on. There was no sausage, the eggs were cold and no oatmeal my daughter went downstairs after I did about 30 min later and nothing had changed

I booked this hotel because it was close to the things I was doing while visiting St. Louis. I was a little nervous looking at the other reviews and I know St. Louis is having an issue with crime as in every big city. I also know this section of town is trying to get updated and so it looks a little rough at the moment, but Tru by Hilton is doing an excellent job of making their area of town look better. the hotel is really fabulous. Only complaint was that of course there’s no pool and they offer breakfast on the weekends until 10 AM but clearly have no desire to keep it restocked for those of us waking up late on a Sunday morning. I was a little disappointed, that at 9 what little was left was cold or completely empty so I suggest if they have breakfast till 10 AM that they literally keep the food coming piping hot coffee, etc. until 10 AM otherwise close down the kitchen at 9 AM. If that’s all you want to handle whether you have late sleeping customers or not. Again, the area around the hotel does not look the best but they are trying to update it. I do not think they should get blamed for the safety of the area because again they’re trying to make it better, but of course you have to be diligent in your own safety in St. Louis.

No body wash in the room. The shower door leaked. Breakfast was cold. The hotel was very quiet though and staff was friendly.
